Hockey Pool Week 12 Recap

Wooo! Another week finished! This week sure have been great for hockey! Why can't we get more of this week! But life is really good for now! I don't know what to say really, but what a superb week it has been for my hockey pool!! Guess what, for the second straight time, I've won in this week's hockey pool matchup for both of my pools. Scoring a total of 11 categories each! 11-1 win and 11-5 win!

In my first pool, I set a career high, registering eight goalie wins and only one goalie loss. Cam Ward and Steve Mason have been spectacular! Tim Thomas didn't win that many games, but was solid enough to win some! My team also contributed to scoring and was good enough for this lopsided win! This is the first time this year that I have scored over 10 categories and I'm on a 3 week winning streak! Keep it up boys!

Now in my second pool, I dominated for majority of the week, but had some challenges at times. I was leading 13-3 going to today's games. What really favored my opponent was the Montreal Canadiens, putting up 50 shots on Pavelec which in one game, erased my 42 extra saves lead in just one game! Boy I was pretty fed up about it and what sucks is that the Habs didn't win the game. Anyways, 11-5 win isn't really that bad. Hopefully my streak will carry on!

Recognition: To the Vancouver Canucks, keep playing the way you guys are playing now! It is exceptionally gorgeous! Keep up the good work in being first overall in the league! Go Canucks Go! To the New England Patriots, well done in the season! Good luck in the playoffs! Remember, play better defense! Your timely interceptions is awesome, hopefully we'll get to see more of that when playoff comes! Can't wait to watch you guys hit the field against either Baltimore or Kansas City. To Captain Alvin! Thank You again for beating Justin this week! It was extremely close, but way to go to pull it off! Good thing nobody has yet to beat you yet, so that might give me a chance! Good luck beating your next opponent!!! Last but not least, to the Canadian World Junior team, good job beating Switzerland today, good luck tomorrow beating the Americans! Let's beat them in their home soil! It's Payback time!
