Not a very bright morning today, as I woke up from my, what it seem to be a long lasting slumber. I got dressed, and rolled downstairs immediately for breakfast. We left the house immediately after we ate.
I arrived to class by 8:15am today. Before our class started, my instructor told us that next class, we will receive our essay question. My goodness, my life will be doomed. In class today, he lectured us on the turning point of the first world war. He also mentioned how propaganda were often used, to persuade people to join the army and fight. We also learned about the U.S joining the war, which pretty much explains how the war favored the allies. Mainly because the German U-boats sank the Lusitania, which carried, Americans and Canadian citizens. However the Germans argued that they were supplying British with ammunition, which is true. The U.S didn't care at all. We had an early dismiss today so it was great.
In Canadian Studies today, we started off the class immediately with the questions to the readings we had to do last time. I don't know what it is, but it seems like I'm still having problems with being shy. Something that I've been trying to overcome for a long time! Even though I got the answer to the questions, when my instructor asked the class, I was still afraid to answer it. I don't know, but I will have to find a way to solve my own problems. I was afraid as if I'm going to be publicly humiliated, which I know isn't true. Will I step up my game? Otherwise it will be game over.
In Mandarin class today, we were at the computer lab today practicing for our quiz tomorrow. Even though I view myself "overqualified" for that class, there were still things I wasn't good with, the pinyins was the main one. I would compare myself to Team Canada in Torino, being a good team but can't accomplish much. However, my results haven't ended like Canada's in 2006. There is still a solid chance I will pull things back together and wing the quiz tomorrow.
After class, I went home, ate something and watched my daily drama. After drama, I started studying for my Mandarin quiz tomorrow. I ate dinner while following the Canucks' preseason game. This time they prevailed over San Jose by a score of 3-1. Nine different Canuck players had points, which was a good sign.
After dinner, I continued on my essay research. My goal is to find at least ten sources by Friday. I found five so far, which means I'm half complete with this week's goal.
