It's officially Christmas Day today, December 25th, 2011. So I slept at like 1:30am this morning and woke up at 8:30am, realizing that I had to go Dim Sum with relatives in Vancouver. I was still tired because I was able to sleep well. I was just a little grumpy but sucked it up!
So I drove to Golden Swan Restaurant in Vancouver. It was starting to rain a little when we got out of the car. I ate quite a bit there, including Congee, Shrimp Dumpling, Shark Fin Dumpling, which first thought was Shark Fin Soup for some reason and other stuff. I had to drink lots of tea only because my stomach wasn't feeling well.
After Dim Sum, we went to our relative's place for a little while before leaving, 30 minutes later because my sister had to get home to make salad. I was playing my PS3 when I got home for a little while before playing Mahjong 3-way. At first I was losing pretty badly, and eventually got pissed off. My mom had to give me a lecture on losing temper + bad sportsmanship and keeping calm. For a person that likes to win so badly, anything that goes remotely bad it really irritates the player. But eventually I came back and won, not by a lot but still won money! My sister lost at least $30.
By then, our relatives and friends came for Hot Pot. We had to tables and 2 pots, one adults and one Kids side. Our pot soup base became really spicy as one of the friends added tons of spicy sauces to the soup base. Even the youngest little girl was able to eat spicy food, can you believe that? I sure can't!!
After hot pot, we all sat around hanging around as our stomach was digesting the foods. I was watching the Green Bay Packers - Chicago Bears game while drinking coke and the rest were just talking and playing.
By 8:40pm, they left and I went back to my room hanging out. Now it's time to sleep! World juniors tomorrow! But no getting excited as there would be consequences!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 11 Recap
This week had been shorten up due to Christmas break!! See? Even NHL Players get Christmas breaks, like your regular students! But this was sure an intense 5 day matchup for my pool.
In my NHL League, I played Team Burnaby Thunder, you can call him a rival of me because we both compete to be the league's best team, although I don't like being first while he loves being first. So this week wasn't so bad, I won by a score of 9-3, thanks to Niemi winning over Jonathan Quick in a shootout. The guy had way too many assist for my team, therefore I fell by quite a bit in that category. It was nice to have my superstar Claude Giroux back after missing 4 games. As well I want to mention the hits category, it is unreal how my opponent tied me in hits, only because some of my powerforwards didn't do any hitting at all. Milan Lucic, by far after getting suspended! I guess he is probably too scared to commit anything again. But whatever! Starting on Boxing Day, I'll be playing Justin, who Captain just destroyed this week!!
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played CanuckLegend, best known for a team with 5 goalies which is really too much!! I was able to find ways to beat him quite easily, with a 12-2 win. The goalie categories were really darn tight! Thanks to Keith Yandle's late goal which made it enough for me to beat him. Oh and Evgeni Nabokov just plainly sucks!! I should have played Niemi today, if it wasn't for that dupe Nabokov, I might have stolen another category!! But whatever! Now that I won, I'm back to 2nd again, my most desired spot!! On Boxing Day, I will be playing Whackburgers, the team who always outscores the opposition!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 10 Results
This week sure sucked! It really has sucked. No Claude Giroux and Martin St.Louis. Two of my greatest forwards on the team!! Which means my opponents have such a great edge against me, or do they? Yes they do, especially when God is on their side.
In my NHL League, I played Team BieksAllent who possess a solid team. My goalies once again struggled a lot, but his goalies struggled as well. I still managed to capture most of the categories in that area. In the skaters category, I put up a team high of 215 faceoff wins. However, I couldn't outscore my opponent but still managed a 9-5 victory, now bringing me back to first place! Tomorrow I'll be playing against the guy whose spot I just stole from :)
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played my rival who happens to be a Blackhawks fan. With the absence of Giroux and St.Louis, my team struggled offensively, but still put up one heck of a fight. I fell 10-6 by the end of today, after coming back from 11-3 down to tied 8-8, thanks to the Bluejackets coach, for screwing me over. Who the fuck on earth plays Steve Trash Mason, over Curtis Sanford!!! Karma is a bitch eh? Your team deserved to lose, you sack of shit!!! Starting tomorrow, I'll be playing CanuckLegend, and I have 5 days to obliterate him!! As well, I might be getting my exam results in the next few days, I hope god makes it up for me. :(

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 9 Results
Another tough week finally has come to an end. Man, when can all these tough weeks be over?? My players and I know that things aren't going to be easy but hell, we still have to go through it.
Anyways, in my NHL League, I played Team thething, an opponent I lost to last time. Yeah, I lost to him again. It's not gonna work if his players scores multiple points every game. Especially that buttfucker, Patrick Sharp, one of the Hawks I hate. Even defencemen John Carlson scored 7 points which really just blew my mind off. And my goalies were just awful this week. Very frustrating! I lost 8-5. It was rather close than it seems but whatever!
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played Team Blitz, another team I failed to beat last time. Yeah, I failed once again. Once again, running into a hot opponent. My team just couldn't even match the production his players were producing. I eventually lost 10-7 this time, instead of 13-4. It sucked to see Martin St.Louis going down and now possibly my team's MVP, Claude Giroux. With this loss, I fell back to 4th place, I will not complain, because I would rather want 2nd or 4th, instead of 1st or 3rd. Tomorrow I will be playing the best team in the league, Team "Blackhawk Down!" while I named my team to "Blackhawk Dead!" It will be a good one!

Happy 20th Birthday, Henry Shumstar!
I don't even know where to begin, first off I must say its an emotional day for me. Yes I'm officially 20 years old now! Lots of people I want to thank today, which included all the birthday wishes from my wonderful friends, my mom for getting the food and drinks to make this party work.
I woke up at 8:45am this morning, and began cleaning the house which included vacuuming and mopping the floor, as well cleaning the toilet. Haha I felt like a labor doing these but I'm not complaining.
After that, I went to eat as well watch the Montreal Canadiens - New Jersey Devils game. Not a very good game to witness for my birthday desires, as the Habs won by a score of 2-1.
Later, a friend came over and then another friend came over as we played NHL 12 all the way until 4:00pm when the Vancouver Canucks game was on, while they were in the nation's capital, playing the Ottawa Senators.
I had to get pizza with my mom at Costco at the time it was 2-0 Canucks, with goals by Alex Edler and Ryan Kesler.
We eventually bought five pizzas, 3 deluxe and 2 Hawaiian pizzas all for $78.00. It was already 3-0 Vancouver when I got home. However the Ottawa Senators scored a goal by Greening to make it 3-1. Eventually the Canucks would seal the game with a beautiful goal by Dale Weise. Vancouver even killed off a long 5 on 3.
After the game, while some of my friends were in my room watching random youtube videos and some were watching UFC, I played NHL 12 with another couple of friends until to the point where people wanted to take a break. While most people in the living room was watching UFC, I went upstairs to hang out with my friends there.
By 9:00pm, we had the cake, while I spend at least the first 15 minutes taking pictures with every single one of buddies we spend the rest of the time, cutting the cake! Too bad I didn't defrost the cake long enough, because it took a lot of us to cut the cake but we finally did. Thanks to Evan Su for being the biggest help.
When cake was finished, a couple of my friends were playing Mahjong while the rest were sitting in the living room chilling, as I was cleaning up. Later I played a couple of games of NHL 12 before all my friends left which eventually ended the party.
The party was great, everything went well!! Thanks to the Canucks for giving me the win today. Unfortunately, Minnesota won which wasn't one of my desires today, as well as my hockey pool underachieving which wasn't what I wanted to see. Other than that, its an unforgettable night!! Thanks to my sister for giving me the Team Canada 2010 Olympics games DVD and Vincent Ly and Ashley Chow for the Vancouver Canucks Iphone 4s case!! Loved it and really appreciated it!! :)

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 8 Recap
This week seriously couldn't have end quick enough for me! After a grueling seven day battle, the week is finally over! I can finally breath a sigh of relieve!!
In my NHL League, I played Team Captain who I couldn't beat the first time I played him. It was really tight until the last two days which I took slight leads! After having another Saturday night meltdown, I got together on Sunday and managed to hold him off for an 8-7 win. It seems my team isn't scoring enough points against him! Thornton and Marleau had been rather useless for me this week! As well, my plus/minus category took a heavy beating with a -21. All due to because my players' club teams had been struggling to win hockey games and allowing many goals to the opposition. Anyways, tomorrow I play another team who I couldn't beat last week, that is Team thething. As well, I dropped from the unwanted first place to the most desired second seed spot.
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played Team HKL who I tied with last time. Everything was going fine for me, until the Saturday night meltdown I had yesterday which brough me into a tie heading to today. While I didn't believe I had the chance to win, due to the amount of players he had playing today against mines. I was still able to get an early lead in the matchup but eventually his players took over, which I lost only 9-8, ending my five week winning streak. I still remain in my desired second spot. While Patrick can still enjoy himself in that cursed first place seed!! :) Tomorrow, I'll be playing Team Blitz who I've lost to last time due to a Saturday night meltdown!!!

TVB Drama Review: Curse of The Royal Harem
Wow, finally this dramatic and disturbing show has come to an end. This show was by far the only show I didn't watch from scratch. I first thought its just another boring ancient palace show, but ever since making my trip to Hong Kong, I've been watching show since then!
Although no major cast I was particularly hyped up about, I actually like Myolie Wu and Jessica Hsuan in general, while they play one of the most important role in the show.
One of the most of aspect of the show was the case pretty long ago when the King was still a child, and his current mother apparently was a murderer of his actually mother back then, but the case wasn't brought up until one of the witness of the actual scene decide to inform the king of this, but had to go through lots of trouble to do so.
That was the beginning when the show began turning epic, as later the mother was dethroned, but rethroned by the king, due to her sacrifice for the King's two new-born babies. The babies became very important characters, because it led to revenges and grudges that the mothers ( Jessica and Myolie ) holds against one another, as well as others.
Unfortunately, Myolie's son died due to poisoning by the King's stamp, as well by then the King suffered serious headache after drinking a soup with addicting drugs in it, by one of the servants ( Nancy Wu ). By then, the King was having headaches and experiencing lots of difficulties, therefore the best way to relieve the pain was taking drugs, which was smoking. It did relieve the pain for a short while, but eventually his situation got worse and he constantly had to take it, while it's making his health much worse than it really is!
It was all due to his mother's decision, as well she and a few other officers were secretly planning a rebel against the King and decided to place the younger brother to throne.
By the last episode, the rebel was almost completed, but luckily for the king and those that were loyal to him, they were saved by reinforce troops ran by the other officers. However the king was still at the hand of his younger brother who was pointing a gun at him and people followed them. Unfortunately, the younger brother committed suicide right after he caught the ring thrown by Myolie. She as well suicide as well since she did not want him to die alone.
As well, the mother of the King also had to die as well, although the King promised his younger brother not to take her but Jessica Hsuan went on to pay her a visit on her own and offered her a poisonous wine that she had to take because of her sins against the King, soon she died in bed along with her very loyal servant kneeling down.
Next target was the servant ( Nancy Wu) who made the attempt to burn down the two babies, told the King to smoke to relieve the pain that she brought to him. By then, she was pregnant when Jessica offered her a poisonous bowl of soup. She refused to drink it and eventually been burn to death after lying down helplessly in pain. By now, the King did not care about her as she was being too rebellious and wasn't being the old self that he preferred 100 times more!
Later, due to no one else in competition, the King was pressured by all of his loyal officers to grant Jessica the Harem and Queen role, since she was the best candidate, which she eventually became, but the King paid no attention to her at all.
The show ended when she was riding on an air balloon, claiming that, she wouldn't tolerate any oppositions and will eliminate anyone trying to go up against her!
I actually don't like how the show didn't have a happy ending, as too many people had their lives taken. As well, the greed for power can sometimes make the person in being cruel and merciless to obtain. But is power all that important? In my opinion, no, because it doesn't mean much if you don't have anyone that is willing to accept who you are, after obtaining power. But anyways, this show ends and now I can look forward to a new one tomorrow!!

College Year 2: Day 32,33,34
Ok, I apologize for not blogging for the past two days, only because I was too busy with my last research paper for my History 1115 class. That was what I had been doing on Monday and Tuesday.
Today, during midnight I finally finished my last paper for the term. Thanks to Alvin Ma for being a nice guy and abandoned his strict deadline time, because I wouldn't have had completed my essay at 11:00pm. Though I finally finished it at 12:15am this morning and he helped me correct all grammatical mistakes.
I slept at 2:00am and woke up at 8:00am. This morning I only had rice but didn't eat a lot as I wasn't hungry. Therefore I left for school at 9:10am. I was in the library for a little while before heading in to class for our review section.
Yeah, all we did was review every chapters through group presentation, my group presented the medieval arts, which included viking arts and animal figures as well as interlace pattern stuff.
After class, I went to eat with my mom and her friend at a cafe at Fraser. I didn't really like eating much, so I ordered what I used to order, the chicken teriyaki rice with a lemon tea. They talked for quite a bit before leaving!
While at mom, I spend the three hours catching up on my dramas which I've missed for the past two days due to working my research paper. At 4:30pm, I left for school again and went to the library to hang out and then went to class at 6:00pm.
Today in class, we finished everything up by talking about the Stalin's purge Trials. It was a period of time, when he rid all oppositions in Russia through purges, executions and exile. It was the right thing to do, but was rather brutal. Though after, our instructor gave a bonus lecture on WW2 stuff, which included some of the major battles, like Barborossa, Midway, Atlantic, Bulge and many more. Though I didn't really pay much attention afterwards.
For the rest of the class after break, we had a review section where we divided ourselves in groups of 5 and started going over every topic that would be on the final exam. Though, we can leave early which was what I did along with the rest of my group members.
Once I got home, I had dinner which I didn't really eat much of and then head back to my room and now it's time to relax!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 7 Results
The Fall Semester is just about to end, last week to go. But first things first, time to talk about some hockey pool.
In both of my pools, we've finally reached through everybody which was a good thing that we've get to play everybody first time which we get to know what it would be like, playing them.
In my NHL season, I played the second worst team this week. I'm expected to blow him out this week, but had couple of bad breaks at times which negated my hot run. I still prevailed by a score of 9-5. His goalies was slightly better than mines. He went undefeated. My only loss came from Antti Niemi who surrendered a loss to the Vancouver Canucks. In fact, both of my goalies took turn surrendering a loss back to back to the Canucks, but that's ok. Now tomorrow, it's round 2 between my team and Team Captain, who I lost to in the first week.
In my VCanucks2012 league, I played the worst team this week. I was expecting to completely destroy him, but just the little things which prevented a full domination. I still won by a score of 12-3. Since my goalies sucked this week, I fell unsuccessful on those categories. But that was it, everything else either went in my favor or a tie. Starting tomorrow, it's beginning of round 2. I will be playing an opponent who I tied the first week.

Since my goalies sucked this week, I fell unsuccessful on those categories. But that was it, everything else either went in my favor or a tie. Starting tomorrow, it's beginning of round 2. I will be playing an opponent who I tied the first week.

College Year 2: Day 31
After having a full day off yesterday due to the illness of our instructor, class resumed today. Too bad I didn't sleep that well last night. I think it was because of the heater I put on last night which may have been bothering me during my sleep.
So I woke up at 8:20am this morning because I decided to stale for a little while. As usual when my dad don't work on Wednesdays, rice for breakfast which sucks!
After eating, my dad gave my sister and I a ride to school at 9:15am. I arrived to school at around 9:36am. While I was at school, I spend some time at the library and then went to wait by my classroom door down the hallway.
In class today, we looked at arts and paintings that has the Byzantine style of the background painted gold and Jesus represented more like a man than a baby himself.
After class, I went with my mom to Fraser and had PHO for lunch and then we went to buy some chow mein for later meal.
After getting back home, I went to watch my drama and then slept for a little bit before heading back to school and hung out at the library.
By 6:00pm I waited in my History classroom for our instructor to come. Class started right on 6:30pm.
In class today, we lectured on the Chinese-Japanese conflicts, it's just stupid Japanese's empire ambition in Asia. Obviously their Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is just a bunch of bullshit. How can one seriously think taking over another country counts is the same as liberating countries in the same continent as you. The blowing up the railway to get a reason to invade Manchuria is pretty dam smart. Too bad the western powers were too much of a chicken to do anything about it.
I mean, look at Adolf Hitler, taking one violation step at a time and the West don't really do anything except protest on paper. Like what is going to happen by just whining on paper! Action speaks louder than words and the west could have easily smoked the Nazis if they actually bothered to take action!!
After class I went home to eat dinner and relaxed a bit, now it's time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 30
As I thought it would turn out freezing outside, I thought wrong. It was cold still, but it was nothing compared to previous days where the air was just purely frozen! I guess when it rains in Vancouver, the temperature tends to rise up a little.
I woke up at 8:00am today, thinking to myself if I want to skip class or not, but as being a good student I decided to flow with it and go to school. I had a few buns and soup for breakfast. The good old tomato soup from cans.
I didn't leave the house until 9:30am where my mom gave me a ride to school since she has to work in Vancouver too! I spend ten minutes inside the library before sitting on a bench near my classroom door for class.
In class today, we looked at a lot of cathedral monuments, especially from Italy, where they were built in the 12th century. It seems as if we focused a lot more on windows style than anything else.
After class, I went home to watch my dramas and then went to do my history research paper. I did nothing else after! No class tomorrow for me, due to the illness of my instructor, so I get to sleep in :)

TVB Drama Review: Forensic Heroes 3
I've decided to write a review for every drama series which I have completed watching. I don't know why I do this, but I guess it's a good thing. I'm not interesting in writing book reviews so writing shows review should be more fun!!
Alright so Forensic Heroes 3 was the show I just finished watching today. To be honest, the first time I found out that there would be a new group of people, I was in disbelieve, because I felt as if the original first two series wasn't enough with the old cast. But I sucked it up and lived on it.
The first criticism I had on the show was that the cases were too short and quite obvious. But as the show went on, longer and more complicated cases began to show which I liked. Getting to know the characters more especially Pro Sir played a role in me having an appreciation for this series.
To be honest, Pro Sir stands out for Tim Sir in the previous two series, only because Pro Sir knows how to fight much more than Tim Sir and knows how to react much more faster and efficient in critical situation.
I had no problem with Kate Tsui, being the head of the police department. My favorite actress, Charmaine Sheh played the role of Madam Ma in Forensic Heroes 2 pretty well. Kate Tsui played was pretty good in this series with Ron Ng.
I have to say, my favorite case had to be the very last case. Of course it's the most complicated case but also the best to viewers. The last case involved the murdering different woman by two different murderers. It actually occurred 30 years ago, involving the murdering of a Senior Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Mandy Chung's parents which she tried to forget, but Pro Sir's wife Eva Chow decides to bring the case back, only because she went to prison and visited a criminal who told her that the murdering was actually another person. Which she eventually would be killed as well for being noisy.
The criminal was actually a father and his son, who had a very unpleasant experience with women back in the past. They both hated woman whose fingernails are painted white, because in the past, the first woman who abused the father and son had white fingernails painted.
I'm sure murdering in real life has a reason behind it as well. The ones in the show could very explain why murdering still happen sometimes. It's usually a person who has trauma over the past which affected who they are and their actions.
Anyways, I really hope they have a 4th series filmed sometime in the future. It's a really good show and just before the whole series ended, they showed a new case of several slaughter of clowns which I think foreshadows the 4th series. If they ended it just like that, I will be very disappointed.

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 6 Results
Alright!! Today marked the one week mark of my return from Hong Kong to Vancouver. At the same time, yeah the Canucks won again, kind of like how they won last Sunday as well. However they better not fucking lose on Wednesday against the hated Avalanche. Honestly, the Canucks have not won a game on Wednesday which really sucks, because that's the only time this semester I have a night class. It sure sucks to go all the way home just to find out the Canucks can't win on that day!!!
Anyways, I have enough of ranting, time for hockey pool rant. In my NHL League, I played the dead last team this week. As a powerhouse team, of course I had no problem beating him but beating him by a score of 15-0 was totally not anticipated by me. With this win, I flew from 5th place to 2nd place just like that! But of course, this won't last therefore my team has to keep it up. Next week, I play the second last place team, which I should beat easily, improving my record.
Now on to my VCanucks2012 League, I played a powerhouse second seed team. For most part, we were pretty even in terms of trading categories. We took lead and then fall behind by very little. Eventually I managed to beat him 10-7 and took over second place for now. My team has been pretty good for me so far and if this keeps up we're in lots of luck! Starting tomorrow, I will be playing the worse team in the league. I won't underestimate him but this should be an easy win!!

College Year 2: Day 29
So it's the final day of class for this week, while it felt like totally winter today, I didn't have a stomach ache while I went to school. Somehow I was able to arrive to campus early, 9:50am.
Instead of waiting in my classroom for my seminar group meeting today, I hung out at the library for a little while before my seminar meeting at 10:30am.
While during the meeting, we had a discussion with Zeus and Christ. For the other part, we looked at different pictures of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. One of the pictures including a bright orange background with a figure on the cross. Yeah, many people find it offensive, but too bad we didn't really talk much to why it was offensive.
As a Christian, I was particularly interested with Christ. In the past, I heard lots of different amazing bible story, now studying monuments and sculptors dedicated to the Lord is a much different learning experience.
After class, I went home to eat and went to watch my two dramas before taking a nap for literally 2.5 hours before waking up for dinner.
After dinner I went to do my history paper for a little while before showering and now I'm just relaxing.

College Year 2: Day 28
I've finally got through the middle of the week since coming back from Hong Kong. Guess I had a good night sleep last night? I woke up right at 8:00am. I staled and staled until it was 8:30am then I had to speed up the process.
On the table, I found bread only. I guess that's the perfect meal when I don't want to eat so much, but bread is pretty filling at the same time, it's considered a light meal food.
So I left the house at 9:10am. My stomach which has been pretty bad lately, didn't cause any pains until I was at school. Kind of ironic that it hurts when I'm in a very warm and cozy building.
Oh well, in class today we continued to look at Sculptors in relation to Christ and then later we watched a film which I didn't really pay attention to much, only because I was sleepy and didn't bother.
After class, I went home in the cold and rain, went to watch drama and then ate something before taking a nap.
I woke up at 4:30pm, check some NHL scores before heading to school.
While in class today, we had a lecture on the Rise of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. In my opinion, Hitler is somewhat overrated, don't get me wrong on the Germans side he's a saint but not elsewhere. And what's up with him blaming the Jews, just because he got rejected to Art school in Vienna.
Everything went well for the day except for the Canucks game. Losing this year is bad enough, well losing to the hated Blackhawks with all the bandwagon asshole fans. 5-1 loss is garbage, reminds me of game 6 in 2010 where the assholes left Vancouver to San Jose with that win.
After class, I went home to eat dinner, blog and now sleep!! Bye now!!

College Year 2: Day 27
Time continue to keep its feet in the gas pedal without taking a break as a Tuesday just unfolded. I was able to wake up a little earlier today, but still woke up a bit late than my usual waking time.
Well, I was surprised my mom didn't cook breakfast yet, but whatever. She cooked spaghetti at around 8:40am, but I was able to finish a bowl by 9:05am. I sat for a little while before heading out.
Yeah, it was really cold today while stomach went from bad to worse. Stomach like no others. I really don't know why this is happening, it started since I was on the plane back from Hong Kong. It seems like every five minutes, I'd be having stomach problems.
I was fine as soon as class started though. I arrived right at 10:00am which had been my latest time.
In class today, we looked at the Arts from the Gothic Period, which included the Ambulatory, Chartres Cathedral, Laon Cathedral, Amiens Cathedrals, Visitation, Reims Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle. For some reason, my note pages has gone down to one page. Normally I average two pages of notes per class. Perhaps I wasn't fully paying attention due to jet lag problems.
After class I went home to finish doing the dishes and then proceed to watch dramas. Forensic Heroes 3 will definitely end next week, I'm not sure if they will show the last 2 episode this Friday, because there are 30 episodes and episode 28 will be served. My guess will be a no because it's not as if they are showing episode 29 which will also include episode 30 as well.
After my drama I continued to work on my last history research paper until 3:30pm which I had to take a nap for two hours long. It was more like I slept in which I shouldn't be!!! Damn you jet lag!
I woke up to follow some NHL scores before having dinner. I had dinner at 7:00pm. I ate quite a bit, like fish and lettuce. While I finished the dish I locked myself in my room as usual and continued on doing what I was doing. Time to sleep now!!

College Year 2: Day 26
My first day back in class today, after a ten day trip to Hong Kong in November 3rd. Yes, due to jet lag problems, I had to wake up a little later because I was really tired. I didn't really wake up until 8:45am.
Therefore, I had 45 minutes to get ready, because my mom would be leaving at 9:30am. I didn't really eat much, but had two sticky rice that my dad brought home last night.
By 9:30am, we left the house and I arrived to campus at 9:55am. As usual, I sat outside of my classroom waiting until the instructor came.
First thing we got back was our essay. I honestly didn't expect to do that well, but somehow I managed to get a B/B+ on it. 26/35. Today, we continued to look at Artwork from Romanesque period such as the Saint-Sernin, Durham Cathedral, Head Reliquary of St. Alexander and Battle of Hastings.
After class, I went home through the heavenly cold despite having a bad stomach. I went home to do the laundry and watched drama. After that, I began to work on my last history research paper for the day!!
Now it's time to sleep!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 5 Results
Well well well, I just came back from Hong Kong today, just as this week's hockey pool match. I must say, I was only gone for ten days, but why do I miss Hong Kong quite a bit already? Its kind of ironic, I didn't get the same feeling when I left Vancouver for my hometown, but anyways life moves on. It sure was fun, but the weather just kind of puts the fun out.
Anyways, in my NHL league, I played a friend who believes Crosby will be savior which maybe true. Though in a very tough matchup, I prevailed by a score of 7-6, which was because of another Saturday night meltdown. I really hate Saturdays now!! But yes, I still won, which it doesn't matter much anymore. As long as I keep winning, I'll eventually make my way up to the top!!
In my VCanucks2012 Legaue, I played an easier opponent this week. I had a great start but finished average, which still helped me preserve a 12-5 win. Saturday was where I sucked! As always, but I didn't suck enough for an epic collapse. I still remain in 3rd place, because the two other teams also won their matchups by a landslide. But it's ok, I'll slowly make my way up!
Starting tomorrow, I will be playing Team Whackburgers and Team Top Ten ( TTT ). Haha, time to continue college, but the trip to Hong Kong will be fresh in my memory!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 10
Ok, last day for me today therefore I'm going to be flying back to Vancouver today!! As well, I'll be keeping this post short!
I woke up at 8:00am today, only because I couldn't sleep anymore. Since I was feeling a whole lot of discomfort, I went to shower first and then went on laptop to follow Hockey Night in Canada. Yeah, another Saturday meltdown for me and my hockey pool anyways, but this never gets old. I've only got one good Saturday and that was last week when my cousin had her wedding.
Later, since none of us really ate anything, we went to Dim Sum and I ate the living crap out of a lot of things. Perhaps I ate the most things there.
While that is done, I went to look for my Iphone 4s case and bought one as well as an outdoor charger, though this was a farewell gift from my cousin so, thanks Jimmy and Steven for it, very well appreciated it!!
We went home after and now we're getting ready to go out for dinner and then head to the airport!! See you all back in Vancouver!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 9
Okay my second last day left here in Hong Kong just unfolded today. This morning I woke up at like 6:00am because me and my mom have to go to China to visit my grandma. We went to eat first before meeting up with my uncle there.
We took the train to the terminus station of China, however I couldn't get pass because they said I needed more identification which I didn't have. So he went alone, my mom and I went home.
I first took a shower and then went to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins game. It was entertaining, only because I got to see the Penguins score 3 unanswered goals against the Stars! Later, the Canucks game started, but everything was complete shit until the 3rd period in which Vancouver was down 4-0 but almost tied the game, which they scored 3 goals and dominated pretty much the entire 3rd period.
So when the game ended, I got dressed as we went out first to drop off my aunt and then we went to pray for my dead grandma. So when all that is done, my cousin dropped me and my mom off to my second aunt's apartment below. But I was hungry, so we went to have noodles at a nearby cafe before heading to her place.
We sat for a little while before heading out to the Thailand restaurant. I ate all sorts of weird stuff, but they were good. Really, besides the Ginger bread and fish, I have no idea on the names of the other food but I tell you that they sure taste good!!
So me and my mom went home after and now it's time to shower, watch drama and sleep!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 8
Time is moving by really quickly as I will be heading back to Vancouver pretty soon. Today I didn't really go anywhere, since I've already bought all the stuff I needed to buy. Therefore I stayed home for most of the day, to watch hockey.
I woke up at 8:30am to catch the NHL games. No I didn't watch the other games, but just followed the scores. I had instant noodles for breakfast since there wasn't really much to eat.
I did happened to watch the Canucks game. Great first period, but the Kings managed to pull within one and lost by one at the end of the game. Anyways, later in the afternoon, I played Mahjong with my mom, cousin and aunt. I had a good start but finished poorly, losing $150.
While my cousin went to take a nap, we played three player. This time I won the most, including 2 big wins. At the end, I won $50. Though we were in a rush after, so we cleaned up, got dressed and went out for dinner.
I had to take a mini bus and then the subway and then transfer again to another subway station and walked to the restaurant from there.
Inside, we ordered crabs and other seafood stuff. I didn't eat the crabs because I didn't like the smell of it. But then I was also tired as well and just ate everything else.
Later I slept in the car, and when we arrived home, I slept right away without doing anything else!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 7
Lucky 7th day is here! Haha, yes it is!! Well, not really haha! I woke up at 8:30am today, because I had to go out with my mom to get my China passport which permits me to go from Hong Kong to China.
I first had breakfast inside a Cafe with my aunt and then later we went home first before coming back out to meet up with my aunt from my dad's side. We went to get the passport and then went to dim sum.
Since I had breakfast earlier, I didn't really much, only ate a few things and then left. We went back home first, and started planning to where to go to fish for the remainder of the ordered products.
We went out again in 2 hours, though I was able to get most but all ordered items, only because they don't have all of them.
When we got home again, we had hot pot and watched TV for most part!! Right now it's time to sleep!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 6
Another day just flew by, another boring/rainy day at home. I woke up at 8:00am to follow some hockey as usual. All was done after the last game which ended at 1:30pm, 9:30pm Pacific Time.
I went out with my cousin to have Brunch, at a cafe. Later, we went to the mall while I began my quest to start purchasing all the products that were ordered by a couple of friends back in Vancouver.
I wasn't able to buy the sweater, due to size but I was able to purchase the hat which was something else he ordered.
Later I went home and hung out for a little while first before heading back to another mall to have Japanese food with my uncle. I didn't really eat much, I had a curry chicken rice and ate some raw sashimi with some Nigiri salmon sushi. I also bought some products there as well which was another order from another friend.
We went home after, I was relaxing and watching TV with my cousin, fun fun fun!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 5
Can't believe I'm like half way through my trip already!! Today was just another normal day. Since my mom and my other relatives gone to China, I couldn't go so I had to stay at my aunt's house.
Yeah, I woke up just to catch some NHL games. Eventually watched the San Jose Sharks vs The L.A Kings! Pretty entertaining game!! I didn't really do much for the rest of the day, more like doing my last research essay for my History class!!
By 6:00pm, my cousin and I left the house for dinner, inside a mall where we would be meeting my uncle there. I ordered grilled steak with a BBQ Sauce and rice, it was completely delicious!!
Later we went home as I took a shower first before fooling around until 9:30pm to watch Forensic Hero 3. Too bad this episode involves too much relationship talks, but of course I've learned something out of it. That's even if people breaks up, or couldn't become a couple, being friends is better than being enemies, which I agree on!!
Time to sleep now and hopefully to start buying souvenirs for friends tomorrow, as well catch some NHL games when I wake up!!

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 4
Another day just flew by! Yeah, I woke up at 7:00am today, to catch the Vancouver Canucks, but apparently Hong Kong is now 16 hours ahead, so I had a little time to kill before the game, so I went to watch the Patriots. Yeah, it was a very heartbreaking loss against the really hated New York Giants.
The game didn't end until 8 minutes into the Canucks game, where it was 1-1. I started watching by then and didn't really get to finish the game. Yeah, the Canucks were up 4-2, when the second period almost came to an end, but I had to go out.
We went to eat at a cafe and then took a taxi to the nearest HSBC bank to finish my banking issues. Later we went home as my sister was about to go back to Vancouver. Though I didn't go to the airport, because I wasn't needed. I stayed at home with my cousin and later we went out to pick up my mom and my aunt at the market.
We later bought BBQ stuff, since we would be having a BBQ today. We got home at around 4:15pm and we began to play Mahjong. Due to the fact that we have to self-make, I grew highly unsuccessful. Losing lots of money but whatever, it's all good for fun.
Later I went to make up my blog post for yesterday and today as well proceed to start BBQing!
Tomorrow, my mom and my aunties will be out of town, just me and my cousins alone!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 4 Results
Another week just finished today! Everything is going well so far for me. But its time for some hockey pool recap.
In my NHL League, I played one of my closest friend whose new and enthusiastic about the pool!! After coming a week with my goalie being outstanding, my goalies were terrible this week. At least pulled twice this week which killed my GAA and SV%. Even though that occurred, my players were good enough to preserve a win for me, 7-6 was the final score!! Starting tomorrow, I'll be playing Team Justin, it will be fun.
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played an opponent with a decent team, but I expected to blow him out easily. Too bad it didn't happen with the bad goalie performance I had. I eventually fell into a hole in the middle of the week, but it only took 2 days for me to make an impossible comeback, down 11-2 on Saturday to winning 9-6 after Sunday. Tomorrow, I'll be playing another opponent which I'm expected to win against.

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 3
What a day it was today! My oldest cousin got married today!! I didn't sleep much last night at all, because I was at a bar and didn't get home until 3:00am. I slept at like 4:00am and woke up at 6:30am.
We were all preparing for the wedding stuff, I really don't know what to call it, it was lots of fun especially playing games. We finished at 11:00am and then later we went to Dim Sum first.
After we went home and got dressed, we waited for the bus to pick us up for about 35 minutes. The whole trip was about 40 minutes long, we arrived at an extremely luxurious hotel. I toured around and drank wines as well take pictures with people.
By 8:05pm we were inside the dining room. It was extremely gorgeous inside, like a palace. My table was really close to the honoured table which was something I should really be proud of. We first looked at baby pictures of the two, in a huge projector and then watched them sign a contract of husbands and wife.
We heard an emotional speech from both sides, I really didn't know the guy had diabetes before, but thanks to my older cousin he was able to fight it off, which he didn't really give up on. Yes he was crying a bit but I don't blame him! Many other people did, I almost couldn't help it, but kept my tears away.
The food was alright, but I couldn't continue to eat since I had so much. By 11:05pm everything was done but we didn't get home until close to 1:00am before I showered and sleep.

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 2
Alright, so another tough day just went by!! I hate all these tough days it's really getting on my nerves. Though I woke up right at 7:00am today just to start following some NHL scores for my hockey pool as well watch the Canucks. However the internet stopped working and staled to the point where it was no longer possible to get it fixed before the game ends.
Therefore, since my mom, aunt and sister went out to eat, my cousin and I decided to join them, so he drove us to a Dim Sum stand, outdoors and we had Dim Sum there. Later, we went to buy stuff and then went home later.
Yes Vancouver lost again, which put me to the final solution of watching even more games whenever I can!! This team needs me, like nowhere else!!!
Anyways, I was just chilling on my computer while my cousins played Wii on the second floor. By 5:45pm, we left the house to have dinner! We instead went to hot pot. It sucks that my condition of eating a lot has become worse, for some unknown reason. Maybe just bad digestion of food from previous meals???
Anyways we went home later, and tomorrow is actually the wedding day, so I will be sleeping early tonight.

Hong Kong 2012 Trip Day 1
Haha, since I left Vancouver for Hong Kong, it had been a rough journey. First off, on the night I went to the airport, my dad gave me a ride, and took me all the way until the session where they start scanning objects.
Everything went accordingly and successfully. I sat at gate 58, where I would enter the plane from. I spend time texting, chatting on facebook and skype as well as MSN and watched youtube.
By 3:00am, I was inside Cathy Pacific, it was packed with people. The plane took flight 15 minutes later. Since I'm not seated on the windows seat, I couldn't really tell!! During my flight, all I did was play games and sleep for the entire trip!!!
When I arrived to Hong Kong, first thing we did was get my passport, under the heat!! Absolutely hot today!! Though we finished by 11:30am. When I came home, I was pissed to find out, that the Canucks lost 5-1 to the Minnesota Wild!! I came here to hear them win, not lose!! Anyways, later my cousin and I met up with our uncle to our aunt's apartment and brought the bed inside her home. It was rather dirty and big for her room so we just left it there and went home.
Later we were playing Mahjong all the way until 9:30pm before we stopped!! Long day ahead tomorrow, but I will watch the Canucks game, first thing in the morning!!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 3 Results
Wow another week just finished. This week's hockey pool has been a roller coaster ride, especially against my leagues leader. Very amazing week this week has become.
In my NHL League, I beat my league leader by a score of 11-4. My goalies were spectacular, especially Marc Andre Fleury who I got rid of last season. Antti Niemi was great too! All my skaters were pretty good I must admit, although on a near Saturday meltdown again, good thing the damage wasn't too severe. I eventually get a solid win even though I was leading 15-1 at one point yesterday!!
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played my league leader, which is my rival. For most part of the matchup, I was able to make him fall into a hole as my team kept pounding him with goals and assist, my goalies were pretty solid I must say. Although a near meltdown yesterday, I was still able to hold him to 7 categories win, which I eventually won 11-7.
Starting tomorrow, I will be playing a weaker opponent which I'm expected to win against as well as one of my close friend in my NHL League who gifted me Fleury and Thornton. As well, time to face my demons tomorrow, receiving back my failed midterm and prepare to go all out in working on my essay!!

College Year 2: Day 25
Middle of the week just passed, which also happened to be my last day of school for this week! Yes I have one more week to go, before I go to Hong Kong. This morning I woke up right at 8:00am.
I went to brush before eating breakfast. Had spaghetti with seafood sauce, made by my dad! Afterwards, I got dressed and get ready for school as my dad gave me a ride to the nearest Canada-Line station.
I arrived to school at 10:00am and waited outside of our classroom. When class started, we looked at the Hagia Sophia monument, it was by far the most popular museum in modern Turkey during the early Byzantine period. We looked on the inside of it too! Other artworks we looked at, was the Crucifixion of Christ in which Jesus sacrifices himself to wash away the sins that mankind has committed. Also looked at the Christ as Pantocrator and more!
After class, I went home first to watch my drama. Yeah, when you have a husband that works with the police department, as a forensic and a wife who is a lawyer usually for the criminal now she works for a boss who is responsible for Cocaine and other drugs, they are bound to be separated. They really deserved to be separated only because the wife cares about nothing but rankings and wealth.
Anyways, after the show I went to do my research essay all the way until 4:30pm before I left for school! I arrived to school at 5:25pm so I did some research in the library! By 6:00pm I went to my history class and waited until class start. Today in class, we looked at Stalin and his rise to power in Russia. The guy was really harsh on his own people, but all for a good cause for the country. His 5 year plan claimed many lives, but Russia soon became an industrialized country. I personally think, he could have still achieved it, without taking his path, but in Stalin's view, only his way would work!!
We also looked at the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Yeah, Jewish people believed in Zionism, and the Arabs hated them. Only because there are so many Jewish people and nowhere in Europe wants Jewish immigration, therefore they had to move into Palestine which conflicted with the Arabs. The British in my opinions were idiots, for changing all the time, which includes allowing and disallowing Jewish immigrants, as well limiting Jewish immigration. Therefore, this caused lots of conflicts between the 2 groups, although the British tends to favor the Jewish more and accuse the Arabs of being the devil. Later we had group discussions, regarding Stalin's acts to end the class.
After class I went home to eat dinner and now blogging, time to sleep now!!

College Year 2: Day 24
Another day just finished, although today I was able to wake up on time today. I went to eat, I don't know what they are called. But you will find them when you go out for dim sum, it's those stuff wrapped over the sticky rice, in Chinese it's called "Long Mai Gai"
After breakfast, I went to school through the cold weather. I arrived to school at around 9:55am so I had to sit and wait outside of my classroom again!
In class today, we finished off looking at the early Christianity art and we moved on to the Byzantine Empire art. Though, none of them are what we had to know for the final exam, but still good to know!
After class, I went home to watch my drama. Episode 12 was intense, but episode 13 will be even better, because I will get to see the final result of the relationship between Pro Sir and Eva!! Preview shows they will divorce and Eva goes out with another rich bastard? LOL!!
Later I continue to work on my essay! More essay to do tomorrow!! And Go Canucks!!

College Year 2: Day 23
The first day of the week just unfolded. Yes I woke up late today! I can't believe I woke up at 8:20am, maybe because I was really tired last night? But that's what I get for sleeping so late!
Anyways I had to rush through everything, eat and pack my stuff to get ready for school. Though when I left the house and arrived to school, I was 30 minutes early, so I sat outside waiting until class begins at 10:30am.
Though in class today, we looked at Christianity and Roman religion arts. Yes as a Christian I know some of the religious story which included Adam and Eve and the forbidden tree. we looked at the The Good Shepard painting, Old St.Peter's and Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes paintings.
After class I went home and watched my drama before starting on my comparative and contrast research essay for my Art History class until now!
More to blog tomorrow!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 2 Results
Yeah, another week just ended today. Yes I'm talking about my hockey pool. I guess it's time to get right into it!
In my NHL League, I played Team thething, for most part he was dominating over my team, with his players scoring points on a daily basis! Of course my players didn't accomplish what his players did, so I fell short in all the points category. My goalies struggled in the beginning, until Lundqvist and Niemi picked it up late, which I was able to turn the tide around for the goalies categories which I took almost everything. So at the end of the week I still feel by a score of 8-7.
In my VCanucks2012 league, I held on to the lead all the way until the biggest day, which was saturday, before collapsing in a 13-5 hole by the end of Saturday. The goalie categories were pretty lopsided as he took everything except gamestarts. For the skaters categories I held on to most of the categories until Saturday where his players just kept scoring and scoring to the end so I fell 13-5 on Saturday, but today I was able to make a small comeback and turned the 13-5 deficient into an 11-7 loss! Two weeks without winning a matchup, this is starting to become last year where I had the slow start before going on fire in the later end, but I don't know, we will see!!
Starting tomorrow, I will be playing a friend who I hang out with all the time, and my rival friend who defeated me in the finals, it's time to get revenge!! Go Headshot!

College Year 2: Day 20,21,22
Yeah, I've finally finished all my midterms for both classes. I did extremely well on my modern history midterm, 19/20. Highest in the class!! First time ever :) Yeah, I spend all these three days studying as well attending class.
Today, was the 20th of October, in which my mom and sister leaves for Hong Kong. I studied until 3:00am this morning and woke up at 7:00am. Yes I was extremely tired but I had to suck it up because the midterm was important and I planned to go to school earlier to study.
I had rice this morning with a cup of tea and then we left the house. I arrived to school and studied at the library, memorizing all the arts sculptures and paintings.
By 10:00am, I went to study outside of my classroom. Sucks that I didn't get a chance to study all because chapter 5 took all of my time.
Anyways, 10:30am was when the exam started. It was rather difficult. I swear, there are just too much stuff to remember and know. More stuff to know than anything else. Prediction: 20/50.
After exam, I got a ride to the airport since my mom and sister will be leaving for Hong Kong today. Everything went well. And we soon left the airport after my mom and sister went to grab something to eat on their own.
I went to buy some lettuce with my dad for dinner. Later we went home and I watched my drama that I missed during the days I was studying.
Later I just followed some hockey scores before dinner and friends came over to play NHL 12. Pretty much leading up to now! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 19
As time progresses, I've become much more of a busy man this week. But that didn't stop me from doing my regular activities.
Yeah I woke up a bit late today because I was tired. Had to eat breakfast because it's very important! Later I got a ride to school because my mom had to work and it was convenient for the both of us.
Since I was early, I went to the library to hang out for a bit before going to my Art History class.
Today in class, we finished off chapter 7, looking at the rest of the architecture of the Roman empire, which included the Roman's Markets of Trajan in which they had to destroy parts of the city just to make build it. Others included, the Baths of Caracalla, Four Tetrarchs, Arch of Constantine and Portrait of Constantine.
After class is over, I went home and watched my drama before continuing on with my research essay for history. I would continue this until 7:00pm then I went out for dinner.
Yeah, how can I not remember the freaking stomach ache I had after! It was horrible, had to stay in the filthy bathroom for at least ten minutes and then later went home and spend another five minutes inside the bathroom again. Poor me! Why do I have such a fragile stomach!! Though I went on to finish my essay and now waiting for my friend to proof read it.

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 1 Results
Finally the first week has come to an end! Well, I should be keeping this post short because I have to get my essays done and then proceed to study for my midterm for Thursday.
For my NHL League, I fell 10-3 to Captain whom I highly respected as a player and a person. I will agree my team on paper was far better than his, but his team outperformed mines, Jason Spezza, Anze Kopitar, Erik Karlsson all prevented me from winning. It was pretty fun I have to admit but losing sucks! Week 1 also saw the trade of Derek Roy for David Krejci for me. Since Krecji is injured, it's hard to say who has gotten the better deal until he comes back and play. Looking forward to Niemi's return tomorrow!
Now for my other league, the VCanucks2012 league, I spend most of the week falling behind, but eventually crawled my way back up to an 8-8 draw. If only I receive a few more hits from my players, I would have won 9-7. My goalie stats was rather poor, only because I relied on Roloson for starting and Niemi was injured for that time, though no worries I have Niemi back tomorrow! Will be a good one!! Next opponent, Red Army :)

College Year 2: Day 18
So my school days for this week is finally over. This week is only the beginning of my 3 busy weeks. Why? I have an essay and a midterm next week, back to back too! So it's time to stop wasting time and get working on it.
This morning, I delayed for 20 more minutes before waking up only to find myself sleeping for another 10 minutes then I went to brush and got dressed and ate. There wasn't much noodles left so I just finished the remainders and left the house for school.
I arrived at 9:55am again! Since there was nothing to do, I sat on a bench until 10:20am and went to my art history classroom.
Yeah, first thing we talked about was the midterm which will be next Thursday, the day my mom and sister leave for Hong Kong. Just all recognizing of pieces of arts. I however still feel a little iffy about the second part. Anyways we continued to look at the Roman arts and architecture, we looked at the paintings as well as the collesium.
After class, I went to eat with my mom at Fraser. We had PHO, which was something I certainly missed. And after we went home, so I watched my drama first and then reviewed my notes for my midterm.
At 4:00pm I left for school to study for my history midterm. Anyways, at 6:30pm we had our midterm, the exam wasn't hard at all. It's going to be out of 60, I predict at least a 45/60. Later we had a lecture on the Dada Art Movement and what the arts represent.

College Year 2: Day 17
Ok, I will keep this post relatively short since I have to continue to study for my exams for tomorrow.
Yeah, I've decided to wake up 15 minutes later now, it doesn't matter now because I still arrive to school relatively. I left the house at 9:15am and arrived to school at 9:55am. Still so early, as usual I have to wait by my classroom until 10:30am.
In class today, we looked at the Roman temples and architecture. Seems like the Romans are just copycats, they took much of the Greek's idea to how to build their temples.
Well, I don't think I should talk more, I'll end this right now! Bye all!!

College Year 2: Day 16
Yeah, normally I don't have classes on Thursdays if my seminar group didn't have meet up in class.
My throat's situation is becoming really bad, even if I took medicine early, it still grew until it reaches to the point where it can't no more then I have to slowly recover from this crap.
In my seminar group today, we looked at ruler sculptures which included Napoleon, Charles I Hitler and Pharoahs. Pretty much in a group of 4s we analyze them together.
After class I went home to watch my drama and then vacuumed the house. Later I had medicine before heading out to downtown!! At first a friend and I scheduled to have Japanese food, but the store wasn't opened so we had to settle for hotdogs at Costco. It was really cheap and you get a drink as well!! I'm in a disadvantage because I'm coughing like mad.
We then walked around elsewhere for a good 45 minutes before waiting outside of Rogers Arena for two of our friends. They came at around 6:20pm or so and we entered Rogers Arena to watch the Canucks season opener. We sat at row 322. Since my friend couldn't get 4 seats together, we decided to rotate first, I sat by myself behind a group of Penguins fan. The Pens jumped to a 2-0 lead before Lapierre banking a goal off Fleury to cut the lead in half.
In the second period, Matt Cooke scored a fluke shorthanded goal which restored the Penguins two goal lead, and later Keith Ballard scored to the cut the lead to one. This time I rotated with another friend for the seat.
In the third period Vancouver dominated all the way and tied the game. They kept pressing but couldn't get the lead, so this game went to a shootout which Pittsburgh easily won since Vancouver is not a shootout team at all. Though we lost but it was an entertaining game!! Looking forward to attending more games in the future!! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 15
A fine Wednesday morning broke out with me coughing like a mad man. I bet it's my sister who passed on her illness to me!!
Today I actually delayed until 8:15 before waking up and I had rice for breakfast. Typical Wednesday when my dad doesn't work. I didn't really eat much, because I never liked having dinner type foods for breakfast, it's not the right appetite for me!
Anyways, I waited until 9:15am to leave the house and arrived at school at 10. I sat outside of my classroom to wait for the class inside to be finish and proceed to go in. In class today, we finished off looking at the Greek sculpture and then we went on to look at the Etruscans, in another words Italians sculptures, which included the Sarcophagus couple and some of the dugged tombs!!
After class, I got a ride home from my mom. Not long later, we went out to eat. I also happened to check the E.A simulation. Pittsburgh over Chicago in the finals. For most part it's fair but Chicago won't make the finals, I'm pretty sure of that. Vancouver will not win the President Trophy and Montreal won't miss the playoffs while Toronto makes it!!
We came back home at around 2, and I watched my drama. Later on, I was watching the Cardinals-Phillies game, Cardinals won!!! Game 5 will be on Friday!! Lets complete the comeback Cards!!!
After that, I went back to school for my history class. We talked about the Russian Revolution, Russian Civil War, and Lenin coming to power along with his group of Bolsheviks!! When class ended, I went home to eat.
R.I.P Steve Jobs :( and my Seminar group meets tomorrow!!! Game day too!!!

College Year 2: Day 14
Completed exactly two weeks worth of class after today. I got up at 8 once again and wasted no time getting dressed and went to eat breakfast. Yeah I had fried rice which I won't complain much about, because it gets me full for a while.
After breakfast, I got a ride from my mom with a friend to Aberdeen station and we hopped on the train to school. We arrived pretty early, so we went to the library to hang out for a while, before heading to class.
In class today, we continued to look at Green sculptures and later on we watched a film based on what were lectured on for chapter 5.
After class I went home and since I have no episode to watch, I spend the whole day doing my research essay for history.

College Year 2: Day 13
Another week just began today. No more headaches this time, but I woke up right at 8:00am. I still felt really tired, so this time I probably gonna sleep earlier.
I ate spaghetti again today, but felt sick after. Good thing my mom gave me a ride to school, so that I have more time to prepare.
I met up a friend from high school and we hanged out for a bit before I went to class. In class today, we continued on chapter 5, looking at Greece temples and sculptures of heroes. One of them is Zeus however, the king of godness. Most temples that the Greek built, had pediments on them, which basically shows what was going on in any event. One of them actually shows the celebration of victory over Persia, in which many Greek temples were destroyed. I guess Alexander the Great really earned his title, by defeating the Persian all on his own.
After class, I went home to watch two episodes of drama and then began to work on my History research essay for the whole day!! That's about it!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Draft Result Part 2
What a busy Sunday it has been for me. This morning, I woke up with a headache, which also occurred when I was sleeping and it bothered me to the point I had to wake up! Anyways, I spend the next few hours trying to reschedule the draft time, because I tried to find a day where everybody can make it, but people are busy all over the place which eventually I had to leave everything as it is.
My breakfast was pretty much my lunch. I only drank soup, I don't know what they are called, but they came from the cans and they have other ingredients such as peas and potatoes. I seriously didn't eat much though I have to start eating more. This past few weeks, I've been eating very little.
Later, I watched football, My Patriots took on the hated Oakland Raiders, even though Oakland had a decent start, my Patriots were able to counter attack and took over the game. Many pushing and shoving after the whistle, which brought to a more exciting game. The Patriots ended up winning 31-19 and the Buffalo Bills lost to the Cincinnati Bengals!! Hahaha, what losers! Now the Patriots and the Bills are tied in record.
Later, I started on my history research paper before dinner. I only ate crabs for dinner, yes I hate a whole bunch of them. Now, no more crabs for two months please!! After dinner, I took a shower first and waited until the draft. At 8:00pm, I was able to get into the live draft box, I was stunned to find out that I draft first overall. I hate drafting first and last, because that means I have to wait 14 turns to draft two players which is too long! Anyways, here is my draft result:
1. (1) Martin St. Louis RW
2. (16) Ryan Getzlaf C
3. (17) Patrick Marleau C,LW
4. (32) Claude Giroux C,RW
5. (33) Antti Niemi G
6. (48) Joe Thornton C
7. (49) David Backes RW
8. (64) Thomas Vanek LW
9. (65) Milan Lucic LW
10. (80) Brenden Morrow LW
11. (81) Marian Gaborik RW
12. (96) Alex Pietrangelo D
13. (97) Logan Couture C
14. (112) Dwayne Roloson G
15. (113) David Krejci C
16. (128) Jack Johnson D
17. (129) Patrik Elias LW
18. (144) Shane Doan LW,RW
19. (145) John Carlson D
20. (160) Brian Gionta RW
21. (161) Tomas Kaberle D
Time for some rant, some people autopicked and they got complete crap team. I was pretty emotional with this draft, because Henrik Zetterberg was taken to an autodraft, I just can't believe it. This is really absurd!! Later, Cam Ward got taken, and my desired defenceman, Tyler Myers, Cam Fowler and Brent Seabrook as well as Kronwall got drafted. I so pissed off, I had to call my rival friend a fag for drafting them. Anyways, I think my team is decent, despite goalie problems! My first round opponent will be my two former commissioners, both have Roberto Luongo as a starting goalie. It will be tough!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Draft Result Part 1
Today marked the first day of October, which meant that in six days from today the National Hockey League season will officially begin. Today is also the second last day of preseason. Haha, about the only thing I don't really care about of hockey is preseason! In fact, I don't really want the Canucks to win in preseason because teams get nothing from it, even if they win.
Anyways, I've pretty much spend the entire day doing three things: finishing my Art History readings, play NHL 12 and watch hockey / yahoo fantasy draft. I sure did play NHL 12 the longest of all, but I think I ragged a bit too much. It sure is frustrating when you have teammates who can't seem to get things right, even if you kept trying to give them chance after chance!! Well, to be honest I have one great game, where my team won 10-1, I finished the game with 8 points, 2 goals and 6 assist. The rest of the way was just an absolute joke.
Anyways, for the preseason games, Vancouver beat the Oilers 4-1, this time with our full lineup! See, once we play our regular team, we just steamroll everybody else!! Cody Hodgson was spectacular today, scoring 2 goals! As for the Oilers' only goal, it should not even have counted. Do they expect goalies to make saves when getting knocked down by skaters? Certainly is possible but not very likely. Though the game didn't end, while the draft began.
As for the draft goes, stunning how Captain decided to miss the draft :( It's just not like him. I know he's not that crazy over it, but the draft shouldn't be something he should be attending. But anyways, it's over already. Here are my draft results:
HeadShot
1. (5) Martin St. Louis (TB - RW)
2. (12) Henrik Zetterberg (Det - C,LW)
3. (21) Ryan Getzlaf (Anh - C)
4. (28) Patrick Marleau (SJ - C,LW)
5. (37) Claude Giroux (Phi - C,RW)
6. (44) David Backes (StL - RW)
7. (53) Antti Niemi (SJ - G)
8. (60) Milan Lucic (Bos - LW)
9. (69) Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW)
10. (76) Tyler Myers (Buf - D)
11. (85) Alex Pietrangelo (StL - D)
12. (92) Dwayne Roloson (TB - G)
13. (101) Derek Roy (Buf - C)
14. (108) Cam Fowler (Anh - D)
15. (117) Patrik Elias (NJ - LW)
16. (124) Logan Couture (SJ - C)
17. (133) Brian Gionta (Mon - RW)
18. (140) Drew Stafford (Buf - RW)
19. (149) Brooks Laich (Was - LW)
20. (156) Niklas Kronwall (Det - D)
21. (165) Craig Anderson (Ott - G)
Time for a little bit of rant. I got most of my players, however players such as, Cam Ward, Dustin Brown, Patrice Bergeron and Shane Doan were taken. Cam Ward was by far my most desired goalie, however due to that Antti Niemi was available for pick, I decided to pick him first, thinking that no one wants Cam Ward, but my friend also happened to pick him on the same round :( Yes, I am aware my goalies are my weakest link, but one thing I have to say is, I do not expect every game they play, to be complete shit. Back to my old philosophy, I win with average goalies. This will be another test!

As for the draft goes, stunning how Captain decided to miss the draft :( It's just not like him. I know he's not that crazy over it, but the draft shouldn't be something he should be attending. But anyways, it's over already. Here are my draft results:
HeadShot
1. (5) Martin St. Louis (TB - RW)
2. (12) Henrik Zetterberg (Det - C,LW)
3. (21) Ryan Getzlaf (Anh - C)
4. (28) Patrick Marleau (SJ - C,LW)
5. (37) Claude Giroux (Phi - C,RW)
6. (44) David Backes (StL - RW)
7. (53) Antti Niemi (SJ - G)
8. (60) Milan Lucic (Bos - LW)
9. (69) Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW)
10. (76) Tyler Myers (Buf - D)
11. (85) Alex Pietrangelo (StL - D)
12. (92) Dwayne Roloson (TB - G)
13. (101) Derek Roy (Buf - C)
14. (108) Cam Fowler (Anh - D)
15. (117) Patrik Elias (NJ - LW)
16. (124) Logan Couture (SJ - C)
17. (133) Brian Gionta (Mon - RW)
18. (140) Drew Stafford (Buf - RW)
19. (149) Brooks Laich (Was - LW)
20. (156) Niklas Kronwall (Det - D)
21. (165) Craig Anderson (Ott - G)
Time for a little bit of rant. I got most of my players, however players such as, Cam Ward, Dustin Brown, Patrice Bergeron and Shane Doan were taken. Cam Ward was by far my most desired goalie, however due to that Antti Niemi was available for pick, I decided to pick him first, thinking that no one wants Cam Ward, but my friend also happened to pick him on the same round :( Yes, I am aware my goalies are my weakest link, but one thing I have to say is, I do not expect every game they play, to be complete shit. Back to my old philosophy, I win with average goalies. This will be another test!

College Year 2: Day 12
Last day of class for me today, before my four day weekend begin. After waking up, I realized I still have ten minutes left before 8:00am so I decided to sleep in a bit more and woke up after!
Breakfast sucked today, only had rice and some eggs with lettuce. Every time I have to eat rice in the morning, I get sick and lose my appetite easily. Anyways I did eat a little bit, not much. I then went to school earlier than before.
Arrived at 9:50am and sat outside of my classroom door until 10:20am before going in and waiting for class to start. While in class today, we looked at vase paintings and human figures from Greek architecture. Those included the Geometric Krater, the Mantiklos Apollo, Peplos Kore. The Greek sure believed in many gods, this shows why they have so many figures, which is dedicated to the gods they believed in.
After class, I went with my mom to eat at Angels Cafe with her friend. She questioned me to why my appetite has gone worst. Yeah, I didn't feel like eating these days for some unknown reason =P
Later, I went home to watch my drama and did some readings until it was 5:00pm and then I went back to school for my night class. Since arriving early, I hanged out at the computer lab before class.
While in class today, we went to talk about the reaction the first world war by the public. It seems as if people were delusional about the reality of war. Many believed it will be over by Christmas, which didn't. Anyways, we continued on to talk about some of the major battles which included Battle of Vimy Ridge where the turning point of the war occurred, and the battle of Sommes as well as Ypres. World war one was nothing like wars from the past. Troops fight in horrendous trenches and couldn't really advance that much at all. It's like watching two very highly skilled defensive football battling it out. Later we got our midterm study guide and our essay topics!! While during class, I went to check out the MLB scores. I was glad my second favorite team, the Cardinals making it to the playoffs and the Red Soxs missed the playoffs!!
Just 3 months after the Bruins won the Stanley Cup, Boston fans have to witness a no playoffs season for the Red Soxs!! At least they got what they deserved, but this is not enough! At least not in my opinion. I hope the only thing Boston fans can celebrate is a Patriot superbowl win.

College Year 2: Day 11
A much better looking day to start off! Well, at least it wasn't cold and stormy! There was actually a bit of sun today and no rain! Last night, my stomach wasn't feeling well so I had to sleep early, and this morning I woke up fine.
Didn't eat much at all, but a small bowl of noodles with hot sauce. Yeah, hot sauce as usual!! I indeed love them whenever I eat something that has soup base. But anyways I left for school early, as I usual do and again had to wait until 10:30am before class starts.
This time today, in class we had a librarian coming in and gave us a tutorial on how to search for information using databases from the Langara library site, as well as citing sources and using in text reference. That took 35 minutes and for the rest of the class, we finished off chapter 3 which was about the Mycenaean. We finished looking at the Funerary Mask from Grave Circle and the Inlaid dagger blade with lion hunt architecture. Tomorrow will be the start of chapter 4, which begins with Greek Mythology.
When class ended, I went home to watch my drama as usual! And nothing more left after but doing my readings as usual!! Busy day ahead tomorrow!! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 10
An extremely depressing looking day to start the week just makes everything terrible! It was really darn cold, rainy and windy!! When you combined windy and rainy, you get trouble!!
I woke up freezing this morning, even woke up 10 minutes late too!! I ate nothing at all, and got dressed and head for school!! The rain and wind made everything so hard for me! I one time had my umbrella flipped the other way!! Why does it have to rain and the wind blowing so freaking hard!
I got to school early and had to dry myself up, since I was traveling through the rain, I got soaked up big time!!
Anyways, in class today we looked at the architecture from the Cycladic, Minoan and Mycenean period. We looked at things like the Figurine of a woman from Syros, Palace at Knossos, the octopus jar and the Lion Gate. Nothing stands out from these stuff but that's ok.
This will be a short post, need to sleep now!!

College Year 2: Day 9
I think I spoke too soon on my previous blog post about wearing shorts to school! I guess I jinxed the weather today eh? I said I will be wearing shorts today in order to prevent the heat to hit that hard on me. Though it was cloudy in the morning and rained at noon!
I'll get back to that in a bit but right now, it's time to get into the main materials. I ate very little this morning and had to go to school. Of course it doesn't hurt at all.
Anyways, in class today for Art Hitory, we spend first half of the class going over the essay assignment, which will be worth 35% of the marks and later we continued looking at Egyptian sculpture.
After class, I went to eat at Angels Cafe with my mom. And later I went home to watch my drama and as well did some readings before going back to school for my night history class!
In my history class today, we looked at the other super powers of Europe. All I have to say is that I can reflect this lecture to hockey rivalries. France as far as I know of, despise the Germans, following the Franco-Prussian war, it's something the French will never forget. To relate this to hockey, I am a die hard Vancouver Canucks fan, as far as I know, I despise the Chicago Blackhawks and their fans to the bitter end, following the 2009 and 2010 season elimination. However last season, the Canucks got their revenge last by beating the Hawks in 7.
Anyways, we talked about Germany itself as well as Hungary and the spark of the first world war! I always thought Franz Fernindad's assassination was the main reason, but other factors such as nationalism and alliances! But it doesn't matter!
After class I went home to eat and didn't blog until now!! It's late now, gotta sleep!

College Year 2: Day 8
It was a cool morning when I woke up, but it quickly turned out to be a hot morning when I left the house! Note to myself tomorrow, it's time to wear shorts to school unless it's raining!!
Nothing was out of the ordinary today, same thing occurred like yesterday. I think I should change up the way I blog, but to what? Anyways, I'll find an alternative plan later!!
Now that I think about it, I also need to find another computer lab to hang out before class. At least I know there will be air-conditioning inside. Every time I wait outside of my classroom, it was pretty hot I really don't like it.
Anyways, in class today, we continued on looking at Egypt and it's sculpture stuff. We had also talked about the Old, Middle and New Kingdom, based on what event led to the beginning of each era! We also looked at other stuff such as the Temple of Ramses II.
Later when I got home, I went to watch my drama first and then proceed to my readings for the day!! Later went to follow some preseason Canucks games, at which one resulted in a 5-1 loss and a 4-3 win!!

College Year 2: Day 7
Another week just begun today! 3 weeks into school already, time doesn't get any faster than this. Surprisingly it was pretty sunny today, not that I expected it to be. I thought it was going to rain and cloudy, guess not!
Anyways, I woke up right at 8:00am as usual, this is a routine pretty much everyday, unless I have no class or it's a weekend. Had a slight meal before heading to school. It's always a slight meal for breakfast, I really have nothing to complain.
In class today, we focused much on Egypt and pyramids. If I was still a grade 7 or 8, the first thing in mind when I study Egypt and pyramid is the show Yugioh! Originally, the show setting took place in Egypt, where the Pharaoh, also known as "Yami" is the improved version of the little Yugi whenever a duel breaks out!
Well, our class also looked at the way the pyramid was structured, with diagrams inside of it. Surprised to learn that there is a thief passage, where all the dumb looters usually go and try to steal goods but the pharaoh's tomb is actually located at the top! Sucks to be the dumb thieves.
Egyptian also believed in the afterlife, and we looked at the weighting of the heart diagram. It's more like a test for dead Egyptian, to where their soul will end depending if they can pass!!
After class, I went home to watch my drama and then proceed to do my readings for the rest of the day!

College Year 2: Day 6
After today, I don't have school for 4 days!! Suppose I have class from Monday to Thursday, but Thursday is when the seminar group meet up as we would be outside analyzing things such as trees and building structures. The group goes and everyone else has a day off!! Now I can sleep in!!
This morning I woke up at 8:00am on a very cloudy Wednesday morning. I must say, fall season has begun, now that the sun is covered with thick loads of clouds! I'm totally fine with that! I start off the day by getting a taste of rice for breakfast before heading to school!
Once again, I don't have a computer lab to hang out at today, so I had to wait outside my classroom until the clock struck 10:30am before I can head in.
In class today, we looked at the statue, known as "Stele of Hammurabi" in which the god appears to give him a rod, in order to be put as a judge of his people. Our instructor also talked about some of the laws that were imposed. I quite honestly believe those laws are like payback type of thing, eye for an eye, ear for an ear, in another words, people suffer consequences to the exact of their own actions! We also looked at the Ishtar Gate that the Assyrians build, looks pretty epic!
I went home after to watch my drama and slept for a bit before packing for my history stuff and left the house at 5:00pm. Since I was early, I went to hang out in the computer lab until 6:15pm before heading back to my History 1115 class.
We lectured on some people and their ideas such as Friedrich Nietzsche, famous for saying, "God is dead" also talked about the Boar wars and the industrial power in Europe. No question that Britain will always be number one in Naval power, nobody can match that, but Britain's economic performance was overshadowed by the Germans and the Americans. We also talked about the human nature of being together against everyone else from the outside. Like wars for example, people in a country will unite and fight others outside. Our instructor also brought up the Vancouver Canucks! He love the Canucks, because he lives in Vancouver and the Canucks happen to be the hockey team of this beautiful city! For me, I'd probably have a much different approach to why I'm a Canucks fan. I'd say, I was born a Canucks fan, even though I didn't become a fan until 2004. But you know, I was destined to root for this awesome, only time would tell!! This relates back to why people would celebrate together on the street in the dawn of WW1.

College Year 2: Day 5
The weather has turned the tide around. It was still relatively hot yesterday, but it was pretty cold today. I was woken up by my sister, because she had to use the computer to print something off and I was pretty grumpy! Of course, everyone would if they get woken up when they want to go back to sleeping.
Well I had no choice but to wake up then, because it was almost 8:00am anyways. I had to get dressed and eat my slight meal before heading to school. For the first time since May, I've wore a sweater and long pants, yes it was cold today!
I was pretty early today, but without a computer to use, I waited outside of my classroom before heading in 25 minutes later.
In class today, we looked at more arts, such as the Ziggurat, cylinder seal, the cuneiform and the victory stele. Most of the stuff, involves one leader above everyone else and he and she tends to be bigger made than their lower ranking followers. And many of the art forms, had 3 levels of events during war times. Pretty fascinating!!
After class, I took the Canada-line to Best Buy and bought my most desired game of the year, NHL 12! It was $59.99! I went home and pretty much photoshopping the whole day!! Didn't do anything else, after and now blogged!!

College Year 2: Day 4
Second week of the fall semester had broke out today. Fairly it wasn't that hot at all and it was pretty windy, absolutely brilliant! Since my mother offered to give me a ride to school, I woke up ten minute later than my usual time.
Breakfast was really crappy I have to say, I ate those sticky rice that were wrapped in those leaves? You can find them when you go and have dim sum. They are called, "Long Mai Gai" Anyways, we left after I finished breakfast which was at 9:30am.
I spend around 15 minutes in the library before going to my Arts History class. Our class today, we looked at the rocks structure during the Neolithic period. As well as some statues created in the city of Jordan and others such as the Stone Hench, circular ditch and the Sarsen stones. Before the class, we got our essay topics which will be due on November 3rd!
After class, I went home to watch my drama. Two episodes were uploaded so it was a pleasure to finish 10% of the entire show. It was a weird drama I have to admit, it's more related to life and death as well as devil. Heh!
Once drama was over, I did house chores until 4:00pm and then I got down to business. I watched the prospect game of the Canucks and the New England Patriot's season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Both teams played great! Vancouver's prospect won by a score of 4-3 in overtime and the Patriots won 38-24. Legend Tom Brady ties the NFL record with 517 yards! Insane!! But how could you forget the 99 pass touchdown he had, right after the Dolphins failed to convert on the one yard line on 4th down before!!
However, I left the house before the football game ended, because we had to go to a relative's house for dinner. We didn't get to leave until 10:45pm, which sucked!! Oh well, looking forward to buying NHL 12 tomorrow!!

College Year 2: Day 3
Finally its Thursday today. Boy, was it ever warm! Although it wasn't that warm earlier today, it sure was burning later in the afternoon! The wind only blew hard dozen times but was not enough! This is why air conditioning inside homes are vital to human beings. Sometimes when there's no wind on a very hot day, air conditioning can cool off the heat for the households.
I was awake by 7:00am this morning, but I stayed in bed until it was 8:00am before getting out of bed. About time I had macaroni for breakfast. It seems like forever the last time I had them. Due to shortage of time, I only had time for one bowl and had to leave for school at 9:00am.
As usual, I hung around inside the computer lab while enjoying the air-conditioning before heading into my Art History classroom. Instead of having a lecture, our instructor showed us a film which talks about old pieces of arts, which involved looking at bison and cave paintings. Most of the video talked about other things however, and only the last bit was actually about pieces of arts.
After class I went home to watch my drama. Last episode tomorrow, can't wait! But then I got to say, "Fuck You TVB!!!" Why should Fala Chen die :( It's not the right thing to do!! Anyways, we will find out!
Later I had a friend over to play NHL 11 for one last time before NHL 12 coming out next Tuesday, also can't wait for that!! After he leaves, I went to do my Art History readings and also discussed about hockey plans with a few friends.
Since it's night time now, it's time to enjoy the cold air before sleeping!

College Year 2: Day 2
On a very warm Wednesday, it seems like my day would never end, because I have class everyday at 10:30am. But since its Wednesday, I have another class at night, at 6:30pm.
I didn't feel like eating this morning, therefore I only ate a small bowl of rice and left the house for school. I hung out at the computer lab for a little while before heading into my Art History class.
All we did in class today was looking at cave paintings and analyzing them. We also looked at the paintings which involved bison and other animal species, I don't really know if I can find a way to be good at analyzing pictures.
After class, I got a ride to a cafe in Richmond by my parents as we went there for lunch. Later, we went to Parker place to pick up some goods before heading home. I went home later to watch my dramas and then did some readings before heading back to school for my History night class.
My instructor seriously reminds me of superstar Tom Brady! We talked about ideologies in the 19th centuries pretty much only. This was also the first time I used a laptop to take notes, which was nice! Though after class I went home, ate dinner, showered and blogged! Time to sleep!
I didn't feel like eating this morning, therefore I only ate a small bowl of rice and left the house for school. I hung out at the computer lab for a little while before heading into my Art History class.

College Year 2: Day 1
Well, school officially started today! That means the adventure just started. This morning, I ended up being half awake and half asleep, as I looked at my watch every 10 minutes or so and finally got out of bed at 8:00am.
Had noodles with hot sauce for breakfast with apple juice for beverages. Pretty healthy huh? Not really, despite getting to taste apple juice. By 9:00am, we left the house. Immediately when I got school, I lined up at the bookstore to check prices of books. I spotted a couple of friends who happened to be there as well looking for books.
By 10:00am I was already waiting for class. My two classrooms are pretty easy to find and most importantly, very convenient to where I usually hang out.
In my Arts History class, we had a class introduction and then we proceeded on briefly talking about analyzing paintings, which looked at several aspects, which included, Location, Patron, Intended Audience, Function, Religious beliefs, Technology, Political circumstances, Gender, Class, Race and Historical moments. We looked at some statues, which included David and Zeus as well as pyramids and mummies figures.
After class, I went home to watch my drama as well as eat something before heading to Rogers Arena for the Work Fair. By the time I got there, there were many people in line waiting to get in. I got in finally at 6:10pm, while waiting for the entire 2 hour. I applied for food prep and had an interview. Boy was I ever nervous. I answered all the questions asked but didn't feel confident when speaking. Oh well!
After the interview, I went home to eat dinner and time now blogged!

2010-2011 Year Recap
Today finally marked the end of the 2010-2011 season. I would first like to say, wow what a season! So many dramatic event that occurred for this past 12 months. A new chapter unfolds beginning tomorrow! It was really a tough and tedious journey for me, finally it comes to an end, however with many things that needs to be completed in the following season.
I would like to start off with school. I finally return back to school after taking the 2009-2010 season off, due to adult school and distraction in attempt to get into BCIT. Anyways, after taking two classes in the fall semester in 2010, my GPA was a solid 3.00. Well I knew this wouldn't hold up, as I know that it will only drop, but the best I can do is make it drop very lowly. During the spring semester, I took three classes this time. This saw my GPA for this semester finished with a decent 2.55, which dropped my overall GPA to 2.73. Just as you know, I also took classes during the summer semester as well. This went rather ugly, surrendered a major defeat in my geography class. This resulted in a 1.33 GPA for my 2 classes combined. Now my GPA went into 2.28 and now I'm on academic probation. Not good at all!
Right now its time to talk about sports. Lets start with the Phoenix Suns. Normally I would talk hockey first, but I want to change it up a bit this year. Now, after bowing down in defeat last year in the hands of the 2010 NBA Champions Los Angelos Lakers, the Phoenix Suns didn't have quite the season they had last year. With the loss of Amare Stoudemire and Jason Richardson the Suns struggled. Though they did get Vince Carter and Hedo Turkoglu, however Hedo got traded before the season was over. The Sun missed the playoffs with a 40-42 record. Oh well, better luck after the lockout! LETS GO SUNS!!!
And yes, the New England Patriots now. The Pats finished the season with a 14-2 record, best in the NFL. Most of their wins were blowout wins, while they had some very close wins. The defense seems to have gotten better, because I've noticed that the Patriots had more interceptions than before. And most of their interceptions were inside the red zone which was great! However, their season was shattered in pieces after losing to the hated New York Jets, for a spot in the AFC finals. Though the Steelers took care of the Jets which made my day, but they lost to the Packers in the Superbowl. I wanted the Steelers to win, not because I hate the Packers, but because I respect the Steelers as a team, just like the San Jose Sharks in the NHL. Better luck this upcoming season Pats! LETS GO PATS!!!!
Before we get to the Vancouver Canucks, time to recap on the world juniors. Canada coming into this tournament in Buffalo were seen as the underdogs, while the Americans and Russians were the favorites. Jordan Eberle and Taylor Halls were not on the team so which didn't improve the team. Canada for most part played well in the tournament. Beating Switzerland and dominating the Americans in the fight for the right to play for a gold medal. Meanwhile, in the gold medal game. It was surely a heartbreaking game. Canada vs the hated Russia. Biggest rivalry ever! While Canada had a 3-0 lead in the first two periods. This lead vanquished as soon as the game was over, with the hated Russians scoring 5 unanswered goals to win the gold medal by a score of 5-3. Yeah you know, when we lost I said, "Enjoy this gold medal while you still can Russia, you ain't winning another one soon" and I'll say it again! Enjoy this gold medal while you still can Russia, you ain't winning another one soon!
Now one more thing to talk about, before the Vancouver Canucks. How can I forget this year's Yahoo Fantasy Hockey. For the first time, I've joined two different pools with similar format. 8 people in a league, with 2 divisions and similar amount of players to draft per team. Lets talk about the NHL League first. Following the season as the league champion, I messed up on the draft big time, this resulting in an extremely slow start for me, I lost the first 6 weeks matchup. Being fed up, I decided to rip myself off by getting rid of Marc Andre Fleury for Steve Mason because the guy was struggling and was ruining my team. Though the guy turned the season around and I was criticized of a bad trade, but I didn't care. I also traded the Maurice Richard Trophy winner, Corey Perry for Ryane Clowe and Phil Kessel, as well as James Neal for Mike Ribeiro. My team turned around when I picked up the Vezina Trophy winner, Tim Thomas and elite goaltender Antti Niemi. I turned took advantage of my weak division and topped over it, giving me a bye in the first round. In the season round, I played an opponent I had trouble beating all year long, the score was down to the wire, but I prevailed by a score of 7-6 with an extra powerplay point which gave me the lead and the win. In the finals, I had no trouble beating my opponent 8-3 and was crowned as the league champion for the second year in a row. Now for the upcoming season, I will try to be first person to accomplish something that haven't been accomplished before, and that is to 3-peat as champion. It will not be easy but if you believe, anything can happen! Oh and congratulation to my two other friends for finishing second and third, good year.
Now in my second league, known as "Canucks4thecup" league, I had similar players as my first league. I finished the season ranking 4th, took on two elite teams before heading into the finals playing my rival friend whose team is primarily built on rip off trades. Talk about cheating heh! So I'm guessing he's not confident enough to win by trusting his own players. Oh well, no shame in losing 13-2 to him. If the following season, he doesn't win, then I can surely say that he sucks balls! While his team fills up with superstars and crap depths. Kind of reminds me of the Miami Heats. My team on the other hand, had deep depths, but my star players didn't perform like star players so that was no match against the power of his superstars. Anyways, even though he won, I won't give him credit for that. So, congratulation to my fellow third place winner friend. Better luck next season!
Last but not least, all you've been waiting for. The Vancouver Canucks! Sorry, I have lots to say about this. First I have to say, Thank You Canucks for such a fantastic year! Even though you didn't win the cup, you still made it to game 7 of the finals! The Vancouver Canucks this year was the league's best team, finishing first overall with a 54-19-9, 117 points. First president trophy won in the team's franchise. This was also their 40th anniversary, quite special huh? Henrik Sedin was named Captain of the team, which I think was well deserved. Heading into the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Vancouver Canucks took on the 8th seed, Chicago Blackhawks, AKA known as the "Blackcocksuckers" according to me. Though the Blackhawks don't deserve to be in the playoffs, because of their bullshit victory over the St.Louis Blues. But anyways, Vancouver won the first 3 games, but the Hawks stormed back with 3 games, forcing a decisive game 7, in which the day was the best day ever for me and my fellow Canucks fans. In game 7, Vancouver dominated the Hawks, but the Hawks found ways to survive and managed to keep the score to 1-0, before captain Johnathan Toews tied the game on a shorthanded goal. In overtime, when Burrows took the penalty, I thought the world would end, since Chicago had a chance to win, but Vancouver's penalty killing prevented that from happening. With only 12 minutes left to go, Campoli tried to dump the puck out but Burrows caught it and scored the series winning goal. I cheered so darn loud, the house probably shook.
Speaking of this series, I would like to point something out. Apparently, Blackhawks fans, the typical bandwagon morons thinks they should have won the series. I had to laugh at that, just because Vancouver blew a 3-0 series and Hawks fans think their team is all superior. All I have to say is, game 4 and 5, Vancouver pretty much gave away the wins. Out of the 3 wins Chicago had, they only won one game, in which they had to work for, but really? Did they really worked for their win in game 6, when they had the officiating favoring them heavily? Haha I don't think so, but the score was sure tight, instead of a blowout. Mike Gillis after game 6, sure made a smart move by sacrificing some money for a win in game 7, in which the refs allowed the teams to play instead of favoring the Blackhawks.
Anyways, back to topic, Vancouver would then go all the way to the Stanley Cup Final, but in a heartbreaking game 7 loss to the cheap fat Boston Bruins. By then, most of Vancouver's players were injured and had to play through them. Of the finals, it seems like Aaron Rome's hit on Nathan Horton angered the Boston Bruins, like one friend pointed out, but Vancouver only scored 8 goals which is not acceptable at all!
One more thing, after game 5, it appeared that Luongo criticized Tim Thomas on his style of play, which led to the 1-0 goal by Maxim Lappiere. I never knew criticizing is equal to telling truth. Luongo basically told the truth and people started flipping out already?? What would happen if Luongo said Tim Thomas sucks?? Haha I bet people would make attempts to try to bomb him haha! Yes, Thomas is a good goalie, but his aggressive style of play can kill him as he is vulnerable in leaving wide open nets for open opposition players to score on. The reason this is didn't happen as much is because Boston had players clearing out the pucks for Thomas, once Thomas makes the first save so the opposition can't get on it. if you look at Burrow's overtime goal, Lapierre's game 5 goal and the goal he gave up to Kris Versteeg, dating back to Dec 4th, 2010, Thomas's aggressive style led to a wide open goal by these players. So I don't know why you queers in Boston was flipping out for, about Luongo making a true statement. I hope all of you have high blood pressure sometime later in your life!
On another note, here to the superstition part, history have shown that whenever a Canadian city hoisted the winter olympics, the city's NHL team will go on to win the cup next year, Vancouver was on the right track, but they didn't win the cup!! What is this?!?!?! I don't know what went wrong there, because they were suppose to win the cup, like what Don Cherry and E.A simulator predicted. This is not fair!! Why does the assholes in Boston get to celebrate the cup, while the good and faithful people in Vancouver did not? God, where is the justice?? Please stop picking on Vancouverites and Canucks fans, our fans have waited for 40 years and we still haven't get a chance to see our beloved team win a Stanley Cup!! Please pick one someone else and leave us alone!
Though after game 7, everybody was talking about the Vancouver riot. If you think riot was caused by Canucks fans in anger over the cup loss, you are a fucking idiot and deserved to be shot. For the last time, the riot weren't caused by real Canucks fans and Vancouverite. They were caused by a few trouble makers, known as hooligans and anarchist who seeks the opportunity to destroy private properties. The Stanley cup was just an excuse for these people to cause troubles. Real Vancouverites and Canucks fans went home as soon as the game ended! While some of you dumb fucks would ask, "Why are they wearing Canucks jerseys then?" To answer your horseshit question, just because they wear Canucks jerseys doesn't mean their actually fans, if you had the brain, you'd figured out that just because you wear a team's jersey does not mean you're actually a fan, you idiots. I can randomly put on a jersey of a sports team, but does that really make me a fan of that team? No, not at all! To the people who circled around taking pictures and recording, thank you, but your not helping the situation. You're making the situation harder for the police to deal with!! Though, thanks for putting up pictures on facebook so the Vancouver Police Department can persecute these offenders and serve justice! Real Vancouverite went out the next day to help cleanup, so that shows we people in Vancouver aren't like those rioters. Those people are the true people here in British Columbia. Anyone that tells Vancouver fans to "Riot some more" I hope you all die early and your whole family too! I feel somewhat for saying these things, but sorry you people deserved it!!
On a special note, I've finally got transferred to Playland Rides. Today was the last day of work. It sure was hot haha! Looking forward to next season!!
Starting tomorrow, I will have one thing in mind, that will be revenge! In school, hockey pools and Canucks!! We will be back in 2012!!!! 2012 baby!!!
