Wow, with a blink of an eye, it has already been four weeks since summer ended. I could never understand why I never had trouble waking up early on Fridays. Maybe life wouldn't be so difficult, if I could do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Anyways, I woke up at 8:30 and immediately started vacuuming the house and doing other house chores. The whole process took me an hour and I ate breakfast while watching drama. I wonder if they will show the last two episodes tomorrow, but anyways later on I continued on my 38 pages of readings for the week and attempted on answering the reading questions for my Canadian Studies reading. I know it's sad, but it took me one hour and thirty minutes to read eight pages, mainly because I had to read slowly to gain knowledge on what I read. I really wanted to work on my essay but my friend came home by then, so I left house at 2:30pm and proudly put on my Vancouver Canucks Luongo jersey.
I took the 430 bus to Knight Street and ordered KFC and ate it at a friend's place. After, we started playing NHL 11. It was a scoring contest in game one, as I prevailed by a score of 8-5. The second game was even better, I doubled my buddy's score, winning 10-5. Since there weren't much time left by then, we decided to play some shootouts. As a warning I gave to him earlier about my shootout threats, he didn't believe me and I made him witness the truth.
By 5:45pm, we left the house and another friend of ours joined us as we drove to Kensington Community Centre to play hockey. We first spend ten minutes waiting outside for the younger group to finish playing. In our first game, we had a disastrous game, losing by a score of 13-3. The second game, saw changes as we insanely annihilated the opposition. I even scored my first goal of the year, although I was suppose to be playing defense.
After hockey, we watched the last five minutes of the last Canucks preseason game. They were leading 2-1 over the Anaheim Ducks by then. I walked with a couple of friends later for the first time in two years! I arrived at 7-11 by 9:10 and my dad showed up 15 minutes later, after I called him. I immediately turned on the radio and realized that the Vancouver Canucks had won 4-2.
I had noodles after I came home, showered after and started blogging now!
Tomorrow : Read eight more pages of the readings. Continue on my essay, hopefully no distractions in between. It's such an incurable disease! Lastly! The hockey pool draft!! HeadShot's regime is over, bring on CanucksxDream! Time to defend my title, in the beginning of next week!
