Well, it's the last day of October, so therefore it's HALLOWEEN!! That being said, I still did what I usually do on normal Sundays. I woke at 10:30am today, but was still sleepy. I ate pasta and instant noodles before my mom came back from Dim Sum.
For the rest of the day, I pretty much watched football. I watched the Patriots game vs the Vikings, in which New England prevailed. I'm proud that their defense picked it up. They were great in the redzone, both offensively and defensively. They ended up winning 28-18.
Later I went downstairs to watch the B.C Lions game. It's a must win situation in order to keep their playoffs hope alive. They did just that, but was almost doomed in the final 5 minutes. They ended up winning 23-17. Now next Saturday will be intense.
After the game, I went to play basketball before coming back home for dinner. My sister went trick or treating.
Okay, time to get to the real point. My hockey pool results. Well, I can't say it was worse than last week. Though I lost 9-4 in the first pool and came back to win 8-7 on the second pool. My team seem to do so well on Saturdays, but not during weekdays, while my opponents are the exact opposite. It's time to end my losing streak and get back on track!!

Hockey Week 8
Two months officially passed since the first time we've returned to play hockey at Kensington. As the little boy wakes up from his 9 hours of slumber, he started doing house chores.
By 11am, he finished everything and began photoshopping. Nothing else were being done except making wallpapers and listening to music.
Around 4:45pm the innocent kid ate dinner before getting dressed to go to hockey. By 5:45pm, his buddies arrived and were all set to go.
It was the first time he brought friends to play hockey. The game was fun but they lost by a score of 26-23.
After hockey, the innocent little boy and his friends went back to the boy's home to play NHL 11 and had food orders.
When the day, he sleeps! Hopefully I'll beat my opponent tomorrow for my yahoo fantasy. If not, that will be 3 straight loss!! CMON TEAM!! DO SOMETHING!

College Day 27, 28, 29, 30
I haven't blogged since Sunday. I apologize, because the other time time to blog. But here's what happened during the past 4 days.
On Monday, I only had one class and during the class, we had answer keys to the practice questions for our midterm exam on Wednesday and then we just went over the textbooks and all the radicals of the character words.
On Tuesday, I had History class first. My instructor spend the whole class talking about different countries in Europe after the war. As for Canadian Studies, we went over the reading question and we also got our midterms back. I failed the midterm, scoring only 10.7/25. In Mandarin class, we were at the lab practicing for our midterm exam.
On Wednesday, we had our midterm exam. I even wore my Vancouver Canucks Jersey to school, following by a Canucks win on Tuesday. The test was actually pretty hard, but I know I'll still score a solid mark. I spend the rest of the day working on my essay. I ended up sleeping at 3 am this morning.
Today, in history class today, we spend the whole lecture talking about the Israel and Palestine conflict. AKA Jews vs Arabs. We also handed in our essay at the end of the class. I only have two classes now, because I dropped Canadian Studies. I spend the rest of the break, at the library doing nothing at all. In chinese class today, we did nothing because apparently, our class have been canceled. I then went home and started photoshopping.

Hockey Pool Week 2 Summary
Well, another week has ended. I was hoping for a better week, but my desires were not granted at all. I lost in the two pool's matchup for the week. 10-2 and 14-1. It was embarrassing to lose by double digits in two straight weeks.
Now for the first pool, in which I have lost 10-2, I now officially have the worst start in team history. The one that hurts the most was yesterday and today. Yesterday my opponent had accumulated 13 points while I only received 9. Today was suppose to be a final push, but nothing really happened. I got nothing which left me the way I was, the night before.
In my second pool, I got nothing as well which again, left me the way I was last night. However, my players finally got back in shape. Semin and Fleury finally helped. "This is probably good news for the Canucks and bad news for their next opponent," this was quoted by the color commentating on Versus, after Alexander Burrows hit the empty net to finish the Kings off in the first round of the playoffs. Burrows was Vancouver's leading scorer and he didn't do anything in the playoffs until the empty net goal. I can relate this to some of my players who didn't help me produce before but now started producing.
I will say this again! Hope for a better week starting tomorrow!

Hockey Week 7
Well, it's pretty much been two months since Kensington hockey began. This morning, I rose right at 9am. I was on the computer for one hour and then decided to do the house chores. I got everything done in less than one hour, which included vacuuming and mopping the floor also folding the clothes.
I pretty much slacked off for the whole day. When my mom came back, we went to Vancouver, to get haircuts. Later, we went to our relative's house to drop off some clothing before heading to Angels Cafe for our afternoon meal. I ordered rice and chicken steak with Teriyaki and a lemon tea. After we ate, we went home to kill time before I leave my house again for hockey, at 5:35pm.
At hockey, there wasn't that many people but we still had enough to play a game. I wasn't on my best performance however. I tried a new strategy, that was playing without a goalie stick. It seem to work better than I thought, though my team ended up losing 23-19. After hockey, we stayed around to watch the second period of the Vancouver Canucks game, in which they were up 2-0. After, we all walked home but I walked to 7-11 until my mom picked me up. By then, Vancouver won 5-1!! Schneider for the win!!
When I got home, I showered and then ate before blogging.

College Day 26
Wow, it's been a while since I've actually blogged my daily activity in sentence structures haha. This morning, I woke up at 7 because I have class at 8:30am. I got dressed, ate breakfast and left the house at 7:50am. I did not know how my mom was able to get me to the campus when she dropped my sister off first and then me.
Anyways, I arrived to campus by 8:12am and was in the classroom by 8:18am. In history 1115 today, we had a lecture on Benito Mussolini and fascist Italy. I was able to fill up two pages of notes, both sides included. Near the end of the class, we got our midterms back. Yes I was having a secret and silent heart attack and then I saw my mark, I breath a sigh of relief. 14.5/20 = 44.5/60.
After we got our midterms back, classes was over. I then wait for my Canadian Studies class door to open while studying and talking to a friend. We had a midterm exam today, and I have to say, it was hard. I answered the questions while second guessing myself, though I just kept going without hesitation. I finished the exam, when time was nearly over. After class, I hanged out with a friend for a while before going to my last class of the day.
In Mandarin class today, we pretty much went over all the stuff for our written test on Wednesday. I along with a few other classmates participated in writing characters based on the radicals on the characters.
After class, I went home. I suppose was to be studying and doing my essay, but I decided to slack off instead. I even watched some of the hockey games that were on today. Later I had dinner and then came back up to start photoshopping.
Hopefully I don't slack off that much tomorrow.

Hockey Pool Week 1 Results
Okay, it's been a pretty bad week for me. Actually, it was alright at first until recently when my team went downhill. I have believed that last Sunday was the end of the first week match up. I was leading in both of my yahoo fantasy hockey pool.
All changed when my goaltender Marc Andre Fleury gave up 4 goals on 16 shots to the Toronto Maple Leafs. After that, I didn't recover at all. My head to head opponent would take advantage of this by producing points that no one has ever witnessed before.
He finished with 68 points while I finished 50 points, by far the most points combined for a weekly match up.
At the end of the day, I lost by a score of 10-2. I tried pretty hard to get rid of Fleury, mainly because I do not keep useless goalies on my team. In fact, I'm very strict towards goalies in general. If he can't perform, he's out immediately.
As for my other pool, I finished the week with an 11-4 victory. I first thought the longer the week is, the higher chance it is for me to capture more categories. Since the Fleury incident, I couldn't capture more categories, in fact I lost 2 extra ones. I hope for a better week, starting tomorrow!

Happy 40th Langara Anniversary , College Day 22
Today was officially the 40th birthday of Langara College. This means that Langara was build on Oct 14th, 1970. The exact same year where the Vancouver Canucks joined the National Hockey League.
This morning I woke up at 6:50 easily because my history midterm exam is at 8:30 in the morning. I got dressed and went downstairs to eat before coming back up to pack my stuff.
We left the house at 7:50 and I arrived at the campus by 8:10. I spend the rest of the time before the exam reviewing my notes. We had our exam right when our instructor came in. The exam was broken down into two components. First one was the short answers question. We were given ten questions and we had to answer six of them. To be honest, I was able to answer two questions, and all the other four I answered but with doubts. The second component was the essay question. I've chosen to write about, "Is the guilt clause in the Treaty Of Versailles justifiable or not." I argued that it was unjustifiable because the allies putted all the blame on the Germans for the cause of the war, when it was the problem between Austria and Serbia. I also argued that Germany was basically doing what the allies were doing, and that was backing up it's allies. If Germany was at fault for doing that, I pretty much assumes that the allies are at fault as well.
After the exam, we get to leave and I just sat with a friend outside our Canadian Studies classroom. In Canadian Studies today, we were given out the midterm outline which contains the essay question and things that we have to know for the midterm. After that, we continued looking at American power in Canadian economies. Once our break was over, we got into groups to discuss the answers to the readings that was assigned last class.
Once class was over, I bumped into a friend who I've known working at PNE, in the hallway. We walked around as we were watching all the events going on around the school, for the langara 40th anniversary. At 12:20, I ditched him for class. In Chinese class today, we learned a few more words. In the middle of the class, we had a character dictation competition. Several classmates and I participated just for the marks. After that, we practiced for our oral exam on for Wednesday, next week.
When class is over, I got a ride from my mom since it was raining. We first had sushi and then we went to the shopper drug store to pick up a delivery package from our aunt, living in Australia. When we got home, I pretty much spend the whole day doing my essay. Nothing much really occurred since then.

College Day 21
I've been to class exactly for three weeks now. Today, I woke up at 9:15 since I don't have morning classes on Wednesdays. I got dressed, packed my stuff and went downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast I came back to my room and started studying for my history midterm.
By 11:20am, I left the house and actually got on the 410 bus as soon as I reached the bus stop. I got off at Aberdeen station to board the skytrain to Langara station and walked a few blocks to my campus. When I arrived I sat down on a seat to review for my Chinese quiz.
Class started at 12:30. Our instructor handed back our homework first and then we had our quiz right away. The quiz wasn't so hard but the pinyins was hard. Prediction : 37/40. After the quiz, we went on to finish chapter 0.7. We also learned a few new words on the way. Next week, we will be having our oral exam and a test the class after.
After class, I went home and immediately I pretty spend the whole time studying. Even after dinner and shower I still continued to study.
Tomorrow is the midterm so I will be sleeping early today.

College Day 20
Well it's almost three weeks of school, but this morning I had a bit of trouble waking up because it's Tuesday, though I slept quite early last night. I got dressed and ate breakfast before going to school.
I arrived to campus by 8:20 and class by 8:26. In history class today, we first spend half the class lecturing about arts responding to the first world war. Our instructor also gave us a few poems and art works to have a look at, on the projector. After the lecture, we had a group discussion about the two poems, one is the world war 1 poem in which everybody reads during Remembrance Day and another poem written by Wilfred Owen. I couldn't believe that these two poems that I will be using for my history essay is actually for discussion as well. After discussion we get to leave class early.
In Canadian Studies today, we had a lecture on American power on Canadian's economies. After we took our break, we then went into groups to discuss the questions to the readings we had to do the class before. Later then, as a class we discussed the answers together.
In Chinese class today, we went into a lab to practice for our quiz tomorrow. First we got our quiz back. I was surprised I got 38/40 on it. An even better result than Canada's performance against Slovakia in the olympics. For the rest of the class we just practiced for our quiz.
After class, I got home and immediately started my readings. I took me 3 hours to finish the readings and the questions. Afterwards I took a shower and then started reviewing for my Chinese and then went to study for my history midterm just before dinner.
Once I finished dinner, I went back to studying until I actually went off to sleep.

Happy Canucks Thanksgivings Day
Well it is Monday, so a new week begins. But also today is Thanksgivings Day! I woke up at nine this morning because I wanted to start studying for my midterm exams. Before that, I ate breakfast first, then vacuumed the house and started studying for my history midterm.
Nothing really happened for another eight hours or so, since I've been studying like a total geek and the same time talking to people on MSN. I showered pretty early today, knowing that I will be sleeping early because of morning classes. After I showered, I studied again just when my cousins and relatives arrived.
We had hotpot instead of eating turkeys because no one was willing to go and buy it, in order to bake it. That was fine with me however. I didn't really eat a lot today, but still had a great time. I was able to finish two glass of red wines without any problems. After dinner, because I couldn't watch the Canucks' game on tv, I decided to ditch out and went back to my room to watch it.
By the time I started watching, it was the starting of the second quarter and Vancouver was up by one goal. The second period went by pretty quickly with actions everywhere. Though Vancouver didn't score but the Florida Panthers did, on a fluke goal that went off defencemen Alexander Edler's skate and the game going into the third period was tied 1-1.
In the third period, the Panthers looked more desperate than the Canucks, but Luongo backstopped the team. With just five minutes left in the game, Daniel Sedin scored a scramble rebound goal that just barely got over the line and Vancouver leads 2-1. The Panthers however did everything they could to tie the game but the Canucks' defense kept the offense off and that would be the final score. 2-1 Vancouver win! This game though was rather boring, I couldn't believe that Vancouver had no powerplays which is somewhat unbelievable. A win is a win, I'll take it. Luongo was spectacular!

Vancouver Canucks Season Opener Ruined 0-0-1
Well, today is Saturday. A weekend, hooray! I was able to sleep last night and woke up at 9:30 this morning. After getting dressed, I did the laundry, by washing my own clothes and then putting them inside the dryer machine. Also, today was Vancouver Canucks' opening ceremony.
I ate brunch just before friends came over at 12:30 to play NHL 11. I didn't go hard on them because they are beginners. I pretty much even the game level out, by playing as a goaltender.
They left my place by 5pm, right after my dad came home from work. Instead of cooking for dinner, my dad got free pizza from a friend and we ate pizza instead. I turned on to watch the Leafs game and they were up 2-0 by then. I watched the rest of the game and the Leafs won over the Ottawa Senators by a score of 5-1. Since 1999, the Leafs haven't won two straight opening games right when the season started.
By 7pm the Vancouver Canucks' 40th anniversary ceremony began. Also, Henrik Sedin was named captain of the team. He will be the 13th captain in Vancouver Canucks' history.
The game was somewhat fun to watch. In the first period, there was no scoring between the Canucks and the Kings. Though in the second period Christian Ehrhoff puts one home and the Vancouver Canucks take a 1-0 lead and going into the third period. Late in the game, Ryan Kesler took an interference penalty and the Kings' Justin Williams puts one by Roberto Luongo and the game was tied. In overtime, it was pretty much end to end actions with numerous scoring chances off the rush. Though when Bieksa took the interference penalty, Vancouver had to kill off a 4 on 3 powerplay. I was holding my breath when the Kings sets up in the offensive zone. Roberto Luongo has made some fantastic saves during the PK and eventually the Canucks was able to kill it off, so the game went into a shootout. Disastrous shootout, all I have to say. The Kings scored on both of their attempt and the Canucks missed on both of their attempts and the Kings won the game. Yes I was upset about the loss. But again, I'm upset about all kinds of loss. Since being a Canucks fan, I never really tolerated losing at all. Oh, and thanks to a friend who mentioned in his blog that I blamed Richard Loney. Yes I did blame him, though I tried not to blame him before the game. Though another factor might be that Vancouver never seem to be able to win a game at home, whenever there's a ceremony before a game. The only other time they have won is retiring Trevor Linden's jersey. A game in which they edged the Oilers by a score of 4-2.
After the game, I showered and then played Age Of Empire 3 with a friend. This time we were using cheats to fight one another. I totally smoked him with my Mediocre Canons. After the game, I read a friend's blog and then started blogging after I finished reading. Two rowdy fans tackling a mascot, what douchebags =P

Hockey Week 5
Well well, officially the fifth week of hockey today. I couldn't believe myself, I had a great difficulty sleeping last night. Therefore, I was awake by 6am. Though, I tried to go back to sleep, but only was half asleep, all the way until 8am then I fell asleep temporary for 45 minutes before actually waking up.
When I got up, I got dressed and then started vacuuming the floor and then mopped the floor. The chores didn't take me very long actually. After I completed it, I followed the Hurricanes vs Wild game. My hockey pool goalie, Cam Ward was spectacular. He stopped 41 shots out of 42 shots in a 2-1 victory in a shootout. I immediately went downstairs to eat brunch right away, as I was severely dying in hunger. I continued my history readings and read an extra section.
I then somewhat continued on my history essay, while following the Sharks vs BlueJackets game. My friend came home by the 3rd period and I went to the Vancouver to eat with him, at Angels. Surprisingly his cousin came as well. After we ate at Angels Cafe, we went to his house to chill before we went to hockey. All we did was playing NHL 11 for the hour and a half and then left for hockey.
In hockey, there weren't much people today, however we still managed to play with 8 players on each side. I was the goalie and another friend was the other. In the first game, it seems like I was too rusty and I didn't do that well. In the second game, after the half time break. The game was more closer but we ended up losing by 1. That was fine with me. After hockey, a friend drove me to 53rd avenue and my dad picked me up from there.
I had noodles after I got home. I showered and then did nothing. But now I will be sleeping.
Vancouver Canucks season opener tomorrow! I can't wait!! GO CANUCKS GO!!! BEAT L.A!! BEAT L.A!!

College Day 19
Day 19 of college campaign so far. I was easily waken this morning by 7, due to the fact I had trouble sleeping, the entire night. I woke up, got dressed, packed my stuff and went downstairs to eat and left the house.
I arrived to class by 8:20 and waited ten minutes for my instructor to show up. In history class today, we were lectured on the Treaty Of Versailles, in which Germany had to pay for war damages and reparation. We also had a group discussion, whether or not Germany should be blamed for the cause of the great war.
In Canadian Studies today, we first had a lecture on Canada and the United State's economy, based on how they are similar and different. After lecture, we had a ten minute break and then went over the reading questions that was suppose to be due several classes ago and the questions from last class.
At Mandarin class, we learned new words and had a practice quiz on pinyin. We did nothing else after except reading chapter 7, that involves asking about the week and such on.
After class, I took the skytrain to Richmond Center. My mom came 15 minutes after I arrived at the entrance. We were going there to look for my little sister's highly desired Alexander Burrows Jersey and my Roberto Luongo T-Shirt. We first went to Sportschek, but there was none so we decided to go to Jersey City to have a look. There were none as well and I decided to go to Champs Sports. There was my Luongo T-shirt but not the jersey. My mom first purchased the shirt and we left for Lansdowne. We finally bought the jersey at Collectors Den, for $147. My goodness, not even my jersey cost that much. After we bought it, we went to California Cafe to eat and then went home.
When I got home, I started doing my Mandarin homework while following the scores for the nhl season openers. Later I had dinner and then started reading my history stuff. I've decided to read 4 pages a day so it evens out all the days I don't have class.

College Day 18
Eighteen days unexpectedly passed, since the first day of class! This morning I couldn't sleep anymore around 9 so I decided to wake up to start studying for my mandarin quiz.
I ate breakfast before I left the house because I wanted to review more. I left the house at 11:20 and arrived to campus by 12:15pm. I didn't bother staying at the cafe so I just waited for my instructor inside the classroom while studying.
The mandarin quiz was alright at first, with the translation and the characters. The pinyin was somewhat hard. Though I still believe I'll pull it through. Prediction : 36/40. I will still say that my quiz performance today will somewhat be like Canada's performance against Slovakia in the semi final in the winter olympics, good start and then let the opposition get close to even the game. After the quiz, we spend the rest of the class doing a custom dialogue on all the chapters we have learned.
After class, I went home and started doing my Canadian Studies questions. The questions seemed somewhat hard but I just kept going. Later during the evening, I had dinner and then started working on my history essay.
NHL season officially begins tomorrow!! Although the Vancouver Canucks play on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings. As for now, I'll continue with my history essay!

College Day 17
How late am I, I woke up at 7:10am today and had to rush everything. After dressing up, I stormed downstairs and quickly grabbed a bowl of noodles to eat. Yes I ate pretty quickly. Right after breakfast, I started packing my stuff and raced downstairs to the garage, while my mom was getting ready.
We left the house at 8, and I arrived to class at 8:30, despite all the traffic jams near main street.
In History class today, our instructor lectured us on the Russian Revolution and then later we had a group discussion about it. We also discussed about the essay topics as well.
As for Canadian Studies, we first spend half the class discussing the reading questions we were suppose to do, two classes ago. My group was partially talking about the NFL at the same time discussing the questions. The other half of the class, we went over the questions as a class and that was pretty much it. Also, our midterm has been postponed for October 21st!! That's a good sign.
Now Mandarin class, because it was Tuesday we were at the lab. We spend the whole class practicing for the quiz that we will be having tomorrow. It seems much harder than before, in my opinion but I'll pull it through! May the quiz tomorrow be as tough as Canada playing Slovakia in the olympics. I will just have to find that out tomorrow.
After class, I went home and started doing my reading for my Canadian Studies until dinner began. After dinner, I took a break and showered before studying for my quiz tomorrow. I didn't do any of my essay stuff today, but I will be doing so tomorrow!

College Day 16
Monday again, and again a brand new week starts. This morning I woke up at 9:30 and went to take a bite of my meal before the Telus technician arrives. The guy came to increase our internet speed and upgrade our PVR box for our tv.
By 11:20am I left the house for school. First I walked to Jacombs road and boarded the 410 bus to the Aberdeen Skytrain Station. I then took the skytrain to Langara Station and walked a few blocks to my campus.
It was only Monday today, so I only had one class. We first got back our quiz from 2 classes ago. On my previous post, I predicted 35/40, which turns out to be 37.5/40. After we had a look at our quiz, we spend the whole class learning a new chapter and new words.
After class, I went home and started working on my history essay. I didn't really take a break until dinner time. After dinner, I went back to work, but soon spend a while negotiating trades with friends from the Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League. We didn't get any trades done but oh well. After we have done nothing, I started blogging and soon will be sleeping.

Hockey Pool Draft Part 2/2
So it was Sunday today and I didn't wake up until 10:30am again! Actually I woke up around 11. My mom took us out to eat for brunch and drove us home before she blasted off to play MahJong at a friend's place.
When I got home, I went to watch drama. Before I actually started watching, I had to download part A of episode 31 because I downloaded part B earlier instead. The drama was so intense. The last episode was filled joy, temporary sorrow and dramatic actions.
After completely finished watching the last episode, I went on to finish my last few pages of reading for my Canadian Studies and questions. Later on, a friend of I decided to play Age Of Empire 2. This time we managed to play a complete game. Since he attempted in raiding me with waves of onagers and handcannon troops early, I sent out my waves of onagers and was able to hold off the attack. We even had a very long naval battle. In the beginning, it is like world war 1, where nobody was able to advance. Though this was short lived. I first send a pack of paladins to attempt to raid his town but was halted by his army. I then send out my remaining onagers to make him attack me. As soon as they died out, I send out another wave of paladins to fight and also turned my defense into offense, by using my villager to build bomb towers around the battlefield so I can finish his troops off much quicker. I then start building stable near his base and then massively produced paladins to raid his town and eventually killed his king.
After playing, I started doing my research for my essay and just before dinner started, I showered.
Because the hockey pool draft starts at 8:45pm today. I had to finish eating early. I did so by 8:15pm and talked to friends that are also in the same pool. I admit, I wasn't exactly satisfied of my picks, because a lot of players I had my eyes on, were drafted. Non or less, here is my drafting result :
1. (4) Evgeni Malkin (Pit - C)
2. (13) Roberto Luongo (Van - G)
3. (20) Pavel Datsyuk (Det - C)
4. (29) Alexander Semin (Was - RW)
5. (36) Corey Perry (Anh - RW)
6. (45) Cam Ward (Car - G)
7. (52) Sergei Gonchar (Ott - D)
8. (61) Brian Rafalski (Det - D)
9. (68) Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW)
10. (77) Kimmo Timonen (Phi - D)
11. (84) Mason Raymond (Van - LW)
12. (93) Mike Knuble (Was - RW)
13. (100) Brent Seabrook (Chi - D)
14. (109) Derek Roy (Buf - C)
15. (116) Jussi Jokinen (Car - LW)
16. (125) Joni Pitkanen (Car - D)
17. (132) Antoine Vermette (Cls - C)
18. (141) Devin Setoguchi (SJ - RW)
19. (148) Ryane Clowe (SJ - LW)
20. (157) Ray Whitney (Pho - LW)
21. (164) Andy Greene (NJ - D)
Players I really wanted include : Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, Dan Boyle, Brian Campbell and Shea Weber. Now that I have two fantasy pool teams, I'm going to be get a headache with different players in my two teams.
After the draft, I continued on my essay and then blogged.

Hockey Pool Draft Part 1/2
What a day it has become. I was so exhausted last night, that I didn't wake up until 10:30 in the morning today. I ate breakfast right after I got dressed and went to watch episode 30 of the drama I have been watching for weeks. I thought they would of showed the last two episodes on a weekend, but that wasn't the case.
After drama, I continued on my Canadian Studies reading and was able to answer a few more questions, before taking a break. When a friend came home, we started playing Age Of Empire 2. I was on the verge of conquering his base but the game froze. From start to finish, I was in his zone. Pretty much like how I would of been pressuring in the offensive zone in hockey, for the entire 60 minutes.
After the game, a friend asked if I want to join his yahoo fantasy pool. I at first didn't want to, but he somewhat insisted then I gave in. I went to cook dinner and ate just before the clock reached 7:30pm. Immediately after dinner, I washed all the dish and then went to shower before the hockey pool draft which started at 8:30pm.
Here is my drafting result :
Joe Thornton, Evgeni Malkin, Corey Perry, Alexander Semin, Patrik Elias, Brendan Morrow, Ryan Smyth, Jussi Jokinen, Daniel Briere, Shane Doan, Jason Pominville, Chris Kunitz, Scott Gomez, Dan Boyle, Brian Rafalski, Sergei Gonchar, Brian Campbell, Marc Andre Fleury, Cam Ward and Brian Elliot.
I cannot say that I was disappointed with my picks. However there were few other players I really desired to have on my team. Those include : Roberto Luongo, former player, Eric Staal and Patrick Marleau.
My first week opponent would be the friend that I was just playing Age Of Empire 2 with.
After the hockey pool draft, I continued on my essay research and went to blog right now!
Another hockey pool draft tomorrow! My life is going to suck, both ways! FML!!!

Hockey Week 4
Wow, with a blink of an eye, it has already been four weeks since summer ended. I could never understand why I never had trouble waking up early on Fridays. Maybe life wouldn't be so difficult, if I could do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Anyways, I woke up at 8:30 and immediately started vacuuming the house and doing other house chores. The whole process took me an hour and I ate breakfast while watching drama. I wonder if they will show the last two episodes tomorrow, but anyways later on I continued on my 38 pages of readings for the week and attempted on answering the reading questions for my Canadian Studies reading. I know it's sad, but it took me one hour and thirty minutes to read eight pages, mainly because I had to read slowly to gain knowledge on what I read. I really wanted to work on my essay but my friend came home by then, so I left house at 2:30pm and proudly put on my Vancouver Canucks Luongo jersey.
I took the 430 bus to Knight Street and ordered KFC and ate it at a friend's place. After, we started playing NHL 11. It was a scoring contest in game one, as I prevailed by a score of 8-5. The second game was even better, I doubled my buddy's score, winning 10-5. Since there weren't much time left by then, we decided to play some shootouts. As a warning I gave to him earlier about my shootout threats, he didn't believe me and I made him witness the truth.
By 5:45pm, we left the house and another friend of ours joined us as we drove to Kensington Community Centre to play hockey. We first spend ten minutes waiting outside for the younger group to finish playing. In our first game, we had a disastrous game, losing by a score of 13-3. The second game, saw changes as we insanely annihilated the opposition. I even scored my first goal of the year, although I was suppose to be playing defense.
After hockey, we watched the last five minutes of the last Canucks preseason game. They were leading 2-1 over the Anaheim Ducks by then. I walked with a couple of friends later for the first time in two years! I arrived at 7-11 by 9:10 and my dad showed up 15 minutes later, after I called him. I immediately turned on the radio and realized that the Vancouver Canucks had won 4-2.
I had noodles after I came home, showered after and started blogging now!
Tomorrow : Read eight more pages of the readings. Continue on my essay, hopefully no distractions in between. It's such an incurable disease! Lastly! The hockey pool draft!! HeadShot's regime is over, bring on CanucksxDream! Time to defend my title, in the beginning of next week!
