Wow, its been quite a long time now since I've finished my last drama which was Three Kingdoms RPG which was back in August! Well today I've finished another epic drama. I personally liked this one a lot even though there were many depressing scenes!
This drama features, Raymond Lam, better known as "Happy Sir" ( 韋世樂 ), Michael Miu aka "Gordon" (向榮), Ella Koon aka Sandy (周麗卿), Kate Tsui aka Pat (陳家碧) and Ben Wong aka Brian (潘學禮).
Raymond and were Michael were buddies in the show. In the beginning, Michael was an undercover cop because he was the most experienced and due to his personality, he always put his followers cop and buddies as his top priority which also triggered his divorce with his wife Elaine Ng aka Helen ( 周麗卿). Kate also appeared in the first episode and through the rest of the show as a normal lady, when the cops had to use her place to scan through the window for the first crime case. She has a younger brother who became mentally challenged due to their father in the past forcing their mother to take drugs which messed up the baby that was soon to be her little brother before he was born.
Raymond and Kate would start to develop their relationships throughout the show as the Narcotics Bureau Crew would start to use her to help them with cases by planting her to the boss of gang leaders who are involved in drug selling occupations. This soon to be a problem because she couldn't earn enough to help her brother and soon she became involved drug dealing as well which caused her downfall later on.
Quite early in the show, Ella joined the Raymond's team as the newest member. A very hard working and tough police girl who would eventually fall for Raymond as the show progresses. Eventually would rival Kate in a love triangle, even though Kate has pretty much gotten over Raymond because of live differences. Though I personally like Ella and Raymond together anyways!
The most important which also happen to last throughout the whole show was Michael's group, especially with his three very close followers, Derek Kwok, Alex Lam and Law Lok Lam. The whole problem began during one of their actions when Law Lok Lam shot down a gang member and took the money with him because he needed money to heal his sick wife. Very unfortunately somebody was recording it who eventually was known as "Agent" which threatened Michael's group by forcing him to cooperate with him or else he will spread the evidence to the world which would sentence them to long term prison for being a Black Cops.
This eventually would trigger the suspicions of the police force themselves as people especially Raymond started wondering how Michael's group was able to catch somebody and how the criminals were able to escape freely. Eventually this also triggers Brian being suspicious too. In episode 25, Derek Kok, one of the four members in Michael's group committed suicide after he killed Agent himself to try wipe the whole evidence. Very unfortunately, the evidence was found when Brian deserted the Narcotics Bureau group because one of the cases involving Pat, when Raymond, Ella and Michael suspected Brian for being involved in the crime case. He found the burial of Agent and found the Sim Card which contains the evidence of Law Lok Lam of taking the money from the criminal. Brian believed this could be his revenge.
Eventually Brian would take up Agent's role and became a criminal himself and became involved in selling cocaine internationally. He would also threaten the Michael's group to work for him. The biggest project Brian would be involved was selling 13 Billions worth of Cocaine. The goods were confiscated by the cops and the criminals were desperate to get it back. 13 billions obviously isn't a small amount of money. Brian would use Michael for this. He would first set up the room where waters would be drifting down from the ceilings which would force the cops to take the cocaine out because they don't want the goods to melt. And then have the criminals strike on the cops at the police station and reclaim the goods. Many cops were injured and had to be taken to the hospital, including Ella who took a shot at the trapezius when she defended against Raymond.
By the last episode, Kate would somehow find her way to the hidden car storage area where the ambulance was kept that the criminal drove to get their goods back. Brian would catch her and kept her strapped inside where he planted explosives there to bomb all the other criminals whom he cooperated with, just to find keep all the goods for himself. This was also his final attempt to destroy Michael and Raymond together at once.
He would invite Michael to meet him there and force him to press the switch which would trigger the explosive. Raymond would know that Kate is inside and warned Michael about it. However Brian would press the switch just so Raymond would believe Michael did it because he was holding it. Luckily for Kate, she escaped before the car was exploded. The final confrontation was between Michael, Raymond and Brian when all the secrets were spilled out. Raymond already shot Michael once which wounded him but he would accidentally shot him a second time when somebody fire a shot. Kate would appear with a shot gun but Brian would shoot her which eventually would trigger her death in the hospital when she gave birth to a son.
Soon all the police came and Brian had to escape. When you wonder how the cops were able to find out their meeting location, it was because when Raymond and Ella was in the hospital, Raymond had to leave after answering a phone call so Ella was suspicious and contact the NB group to track the location of Raymond.
Brian escaped with a truck but was pursued by Raymond and Ella. Ella was the one driving and soon when Brian had nowhere to drive so he hid himself behind a tree. Just as when Raymond and Ella was about to leave, Ella found the truck suspicious with all the waters dripping. Raymond tasted the water and figured out it was cocaine. Yes, cocaine can be regenerated from water. As a result, he and Ella shot down as many cocaine bottles as much before the cops came to confiscate everything. This would leave Brian with nothing left.
When he was fleeing from Hong Kong in a boat, the leader of the Colombia gang leader who Brian thought he had killed during the explosion was still alive and strapped himself with explosions only to explode himself and take Brian with him! Other scenes in the end involved the worshipping of Michael's death. As well, the remaining two members of his group turned themselves in as Black Cops which they were sentenced to prison without a doubt. In the end, the show did not specify who Raymond ended up with, but its safe to say Ella was his wife!
This show I think was actually one of the best shows to watch. It teaches the viewers that drugs is not something we should even consider about approaching. It will just ruin one's life and in many cases it showed in this drama. So many epic scenes in this show and many depressing ones too! If anything, I hope in the future they will have a second series of this show! But for now its time to move on!

College Week 6
Well 6 weeks into the semester, I must say this week had been busy as hell. Monday for English we had a poetry test which you had to identify poems by the lines that they gave on the test. Second part was the poem analysis. He gave us 3 poems and we can choose to write about one! I think I did okay so I will say a C mark on this poetry test.
As for the English presentation, 3 groups already went this week. I was a bit upset over the fact my group could have went and we didn't! Now we have to wait for next week!
In my History 1123 class, this week we talked about the medieval universities and the existence of god. Though today we had a fun class where we just talked about medieval love affairs. Quite fascinating
In History 1124, our Monday class got cancelled due to Thanksgivings. However on Wednesday which was yesterday we had a midterm! For most part it went well! I will have to say I will get a B+ on this midterm! 15.5/20 :)

College Week 5
Well this week have gone by pretty fast! As the days progress the course becomes more intense! Well time for the main event!!
In English 1129 this week we continued to look at Duffy's poems, analyze them and talked about them. We also did a practice poetry test for next Tuesday!! Yes next week is going to be extremely busy!!
In History 1123, we continued on to look at the Popes and Emperors. Well this week we had to hand in our first assignment. Surprisingly he marked it within 2 days! I didn't do that well because of lots of mixed up on what to do!
In my History 1124 class, we started on the Industrial Revolution in Britain as well talked about many of the inventions made by inventors! We got our midterm stuff so we know what to expect on the midterm next Wednesday!

Hockey Pool Year 5: Pointless Draft Part 1
Well, even though the NHL lockout is happening right now my fellow buddies and I still have not given up the idea for the Yahoo Fantasy Hockey draft because we hoped that the lockout will end in the middle of the season so there is still some hockey left to be played. I won't have my hopes high but just hope for the best!

College Year 3: Week 4
Well, week 4 this week for school just ended! My oh my it felt like yesterday when class just started again! Time really runs by so quickly when you're really enjoying it! I guess it makes sense! I think I have just enjoy what I do then time will run down so fast!!
Anyways, this week in English 1129, we continued to look at Carol Ann Duffy's poem, for like 1 class that was on Monday. He cancelled class for Tuesday and Wednesday for some unknown reason, probably due to sickness. Today in class, we got into our groups and was assigned another group's poem to ask questions about!!
In our Late Medieval History 1123 class, this week we finished off with the last crusade and its effect on Europe in general and today we talked about Pope, Emperors and god. As well as the church who had more power. Pope can either reject or allow the ruler to become emperor since it had the right to decide!
Last but not least, in my Europe in a Revolution Age, we talked about the rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte. Talked about the Congress of Vienna and the harmony in Europe afterwards!! I believed I have learned about this in my 19th century Russian history but whatever!

College Year 3: Week 3
Sorry I have not been blogging for the past couple of days. The reason is because I have decided to do a weekly blog on my school week! Rather than having to blog daily I think blogging for the week is much easier and convenient.
Well this week for school. In English 1127 we started reading Sharon Old's poems. Her poems mostly included things that involves sexual interactions and deaths. We analyzed and discussed quite a few of them. While today we were in our groups to discuss the poem that we would be doing. As stated in a couple of post back, our group went to do Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas.
In History 1123, this week we began looking at the crusades and how they pretty much cause problems with Christianity and Europe itself.
In History 1124, we continued on with the French revolution and the execution of King Louie XVI. As well as the entire French nation standing up together to fight foreign invasion who tried to bring back Louie XVI to power.

College Year 3: Day 7
Well, second week of school just finished for me as its Thursday today. I woke up right at 8:00am as usual. Had to get dressed and ate breakfast. This time its finally Macaroni, been waiting for this for a while now!!
I relaxed until 9:10am before taking my trip to school which I arrived at 10:00am. Of course there is nothing really to do so I just sat in my classroom until class begins 30 minutes later.
In class, we did nothing really except grouping ourselves together for the poetry group presentation. We decided to go with Dylan Thomas and Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night poem. Yes I remember this poem completely because I have written an essay on it!
After class, I went to the cafe to hang out with a few friends before I go for my final class of History. This will be our last class with the sub prof. I didn't really take any notes this class as said before because he doesn't follow our instructor notes but rather his own approach and own notes.
After class, I journeyed to Richmond Centre to meet up with my mom before we had High Tea at a cafe. I ordered just a fish ball noodle soup because I wanted to keep it simple. We later picked up my sister and went home and I spend the rest of the day relaxing.

College Year 3: Day 6
The middle of the week is always the best as you've just realized that you have one more day of class after today before you get your 3 day weekend! Well after a resourceful Tuesday, I woke up at 8:00am today as usual. While my mom and sister already left the house I had to go to school by myself!
I had pre-made noodles but my mom already cooked it for me all I had to do was add water and that was it. I ate and relaxed until about 9:10am when I decide to leave the house. The bus didn't arrive until 9:28am but it is always a good challenge for me based on how much time I have left before class start for me. I arrived to school by 10:00am and went straight for class and waited until class started.
In class today, we finished off reading Philip Larkin's poems thank goodness!! We also analyzed a few more other poems such as Toad Revisited. This time I didn't really write anything down because we don't need to.
After class, I went to the cafe to hang out with my friends for the entire 3 hour break I have. We pretty much just played cards for the entire time. Big 2 and Crazy 8s. It was fun and the 3 hour kill time was quite easy than before!
In class today, we finished the lecture on enlightenment. We also talked about women's rights and how they were considered inferior to men because they aren't physically strong as men. Also talked about colonies and the 7 years war with the US and Britain and the American colonies. Eventually Britain would lose and abandoned all of their colonies plan.
After class, I went home, relaxed and ate dinner later on. Time to sleep now!

College Year 3: Day 5
Well today is officially the day! Yes I woke up dead on at 8:00am. NHL 13 release day is today too so I was very excited. Although they also shared the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attack that took place on September 11th, 2001. Its a day to remember all the victims in New York!!
I had rice for breakfast as my dad has a day off today. Guess I didn't eat too much because I'm sick of rice during mornings! I left the house with my mom at 9:30am and she can only drive me to the skytrain station.
I got to school by 9:55am and hung around for a little while before going to my English class. In English today, we continued to look at more poems by Philip Larkins and analyze them as usual.
After class, I went to the cafe to hang out with a few friends for a little while before heading to my history class. Our main instructor was at a meeting today so we had another guy coming in. I took notes for a little while but eventually I stopped and just listened to him talk and talk!
After class, you know what that means. Yes I went straight to lansdowne Best Buy to buy my NHL 13. I was shocked that they were out of stock when I went there but there was Futureshop still in the mall. Luckily for me there was the last copy for $59.99.
I went home to set up the whole game without really playing the game at all but its what I do every time on Day 1. Later on I went to chill with two friends at Ikea and I also happened to lend my NHL 13 game to him but will get it back tomorrow!!

College Year 3: Day 4
A brand new week just unfolded today! This morning I don't know if it was the wind that woke me up but I was able to wake up right on time. I guess it happens when I'm like half sleep and half waking up. I had noodles this morning with hot sauce as usual! I can't survive to eat without hot and spicy sauce.
Since I can get a ride from my mom, I was able to relax for a bit longer at home first until 9:30am before she drove me to school!! I arrived to school by 9:45am and hung out with a few friends before 10:30am when class actually started.
In class today, we continued to look at poems that we were suppose to read and as usual analyzed them. It was funny that we had to do seating plans half-way through the class.
After class I had a 3 hour break so I went to the cafe to hang out with my buddies for the entire 3 hours. We played cards, ate and charged phones and laptops as well!!
By 2:30pm, my class starts. We had a lecture pretty much all about the enlightenment and science in earlier Europe. Many theories were discussed, couldn't remember what they were. Many philosophers were also discussed too.

College Year 3: Day 3
The last day of class for this week has finally ended!! When I picked my classes, I had my schedule to not go towards a Friday meaning I only have 4 days of classes a week!!
I still felt tired after waking up this morning but what can you do eh? "Suck it up!!" Quote by Captain Ma. Yesterday I said I didn't have rice but today I actually did!! Unbelievable!!
After breakfast, I took off for school. Even though I delayed for about 10 minutes before leaving the house I still managed to get there by 10:00am. But hey that's what I've been good with, so it is more of a routine for me.
In class today, we continued to look more into other poems. We even had a brief discussion about love poems and what would be on a love poem. I stated that love poem would include comparison between two things, compliments and other soft and calm descriptive words.
After class, I went to the bookstore to buy my English poetry textbook!! I really hate the fact that all my class's textbooks are so damn pricey for this semester and to make matters worse, they all use a new book, meaning there won't be a cheaper book for it!!
I still had time while I came out of the bookstore so I went to the cafe to hang out with a few friends before heading into class at 12:30pm.
In History today, we talked about how the survival of Christians began, and the importance of the relics and Pilgrimage activities. Also talked about the Truce of God which restricts conflicts among people on a certain time. By doing this, the chance of conflicts would be reduced according to our instructor.
After class, I got a ride from my mom, but we picked up her friend first to go to ICBC and she made me do translation. That took nearly an hour before we head to McDonalds to eat. So therefore dinner had to be at 7 after.

College Year 3: Day 2
Well, one day has passed since school began. This morning was quite distracting only because I still felt a bit tired after waking up at 8:00am. It really feels different waking up for school than waking up for work!
Had bun instead of rice for breakfast, thank goodness!! Since I was being slow today with preparing for school, I basically was staling bit by bit before proceeding.
I left the house at 9:00am as usual and arrived to school by 9:55am, which I don't know why and how I was able to get there a good 20 minutes before class starts.
I was like the first one in the classroom with all the lights closed. Had to wait take my cellphones away before my instructor came, due to the consequences threat he made yesterday.
In English class today, we analyzed new poems today, with the Hardware poem which talks about the death of the speaker's father and what he taught him in the past. Also looked at the other poem by Shakespeare. Not much really happened for us after.
After class I hung out in the cafe for 3 hours with friends before heading into my History class at 2:30pm. Too long of a break can be really annoying I find.
In History today, we introduced the course, although I've had this instructor for the 5th consecutive semester now!! Since it is a first year class, as expected, 2 essays, one midterm and one final exam!! We spend rest of the class lecturing on the early 1600s and 1700s of the Great European Powers, France Britain Austria Russia and Austria.
After class I walked to the Canada-Line station with a friend and then went home to relax and enjoy the rest of my day!! Time to sleep soon!

College Year 3: Day 1
Well, its officially a brand new year to begin although 2012 hasn't end yet but the 2013 year for school and everything else began. I guess this means first day of school for most people including myself!! Waking up at 8:00am now feels very weird rather than for work.
Had Macaroni first thing in the morning and then packed for school!! I was fortunate enough to not have to bus to the Skytrain station so I had more time to prepare and relax. Eventually I got to school by 9:55am and had to find my first classroom.
Quite frankly, that classroom I was in for my second semester for Chinese 1215 and this class would be English 1129, which involves lots of poetry, novels and short stories. We begin class doing some imaginations of what a poet would look like through usage of descriptive words and then later we read a poem by Philip Larkin. It feels awkward repeatedly saying, "They fuck you up, your mum and dad" people outside probably wondering what the hell was going on inside the classroom.
Well later on we did look over the course outline. Cellphone is such a big deal in class, in fact all electronic devices are illegal apparently. If get caught using em, humiliating consequence would occur to that individual, where I cannot take him seriously when he said he'll make anyone strip naked in front of the class and dance.
After class I went to the cafe and met up with a few friends we chilled for a little while before I had to go to class at 12:30pm.
This time was History 1123. From the voice of my instructor, I can tell he was British before he actually told us. We looked at the course outline and he also introduced himself quite a bit and later we had a small lecture based on previous course stuff.
After class I went home, did some readings and relaxed for the day!

2012 Year Review
Okay Well, today marked the last day for the 2011-2012 year for many people, because you know what? Tomorrow begins a new chapter of another year. But for this blog post it will be a review of all the 2012 things that happened and judge them whether it was a good year or not.
Lets begin with some personal life. School first, well lots of catching up to do in school this year, although many downs I was able to pull off decent marks, even though I think I did pretty bad. So I got lucky there!! Overall I'll give it a C+ grade!
Other things included work and my driving test. Ha! Work was really fun! Had fun working with my co-workers and my forepersons!! Started to really get to know my co-workers a lot more!!! And my driving test, well didn't take the first test due to sick but was able to pass the second time!!! Soo A right there!!
Now time for some Yahoo Fantasy Hockey. After coming as champion for the second consecutive time, I had high expectations for myself this season. Although I finished with the greatest record in the regular season, I fell short in the Semi final to the eventual league championship but finished 3rd, massively destroyed Team thething. In my VCanucks2012 league, I also finished 1st with the best record but after a really hard fought Semi Final week, I fell short to the eventual league champion but also finishing 3rd. So I can't say it was a bad year so I'll give it a B right there
Well time for some sports, the Vancouver Canucks first. After the bitter loss in 2011 to the Bruins, they looked for some revenge. They repeat as presidents trophy winners which I always opposed to, since day 1. Where they met the LA Kings in round 1 which they were defeated in 5 games, with Daniel Sedin out for 60% of the series. The Kings would eventually go on to win the cup! I give it a C-
My Phoenix Suns, they were on rebuilding mode since 2011 I didn't have much expectations for them. They didn't make the playoffs which was expected, so I don't have much to say about them. Although during the playoffs I was hoping for Lebron to win his first championship which it did, so I'm happy for him! I'll give it a B for NBA
Now the New England Patriots, the Patriots dominated the AFC with a 13-3 record, second behind to the Green Bay Packers and the Patriots made it to the Superbowl where they had to face the New York Giants. Same fate happened to the Patriots where they lost the game in the final minute. Which was utterly disappointing, as a result I'll give it a C+
Now for the BC Lions, they started off slow but eventually picked it up and dominated since then! 8 game winning streak going to the playoffs with the best defence and then became league champ over the Winnipeg blue bombers!! Great job Lions!! Grade: A
More hockey, the World juniors. Team Canada with the new looks, played well until they the bitter rivals of Russia in the Semis where their epic miracles down 5 goals in the 3rd ended with a 6-5 loss, but they still took home the bronze over Finland and Sweden defeated the Russians 1-0, therefore it wasn't really that bad. Grade: B
Now last but not least, the Euro 2012 cup. After a very disappointing 2008 performance and 2010 world cup, England seeks revenge. They topped Group D with a 2-0-1 record, beating Ukraine and Sweden and tying France. Where in the Quarter final they met Italy. A 0-0 game even after extra time means a PK where England has never been successful at all. I guess this explains everything where England lost 4-2 in PK. Although England lost, Germany and Portugal didn't do all that better, losing to Italy and Spain. Eventually Spain took on Italy and creamed them, 4-0. So its not really that bad. Grade: B
Anyways, lets sum up the results, Sports overall grade: C+ and Life grade: C+ So overall 2012 has been a C+.
Well I don't know how 2013 will do!! 2012 wasn't really that good but I guess its time to move on!

College Year 2: Day 3
Another Thursday completed. It wasn't so bad today. I didn't really trouble waking up, considering that I slept late last night! Well it was fine, I woke up, turned on my computer and went downstairs to eat. Had noodles for the first time in 2 weeks.
After that, I went to school and hung out, outside of my classroom for a little while before heading into class. While in class today, we finally got our course outline. For goodness sake, that should have been done since day 1! But whatever. Instead of having lecture, we just had a brief explanation over every topic for our term paper in which our instructor briefly talked about each one!
After class I went to the library to kill time until 12:20pm before going to my History class. In class today, we lectured on the Social Hierarchy in Russia and got our readings for next week's seminar, without the questions!!
When class is over, I went home to relax myself before watching TV with my mom. Kind of rare nowadays! Had dinner later and relaxed more. Showered, blogged and now sleep!

College Summer Semester 2011-2012 Day 2
Well its the second day today, I guess things are starting to get better. I woke up at 7:00am and ate around 7:30am before heading to school at 8:00am. Arrived to school at around 8:30am and I spend the time in the library before going to class at around 9:15am.
In class today, we finally began lecturing on what is civilization and the Egyptian civilization. I honestly believe, without a course- outline, it is very hard to follow and keep track of what we are on but had to primarily rely on notes. With his accent, it is sometimes even harder to follow him!
After class, I went to the library to kill some time before heading to the cafe to buy Triple Os and left for class to finish the day! In class today, we had a brief background on what Russia is like in the 18th and 19th century!
When class is done, I left for home and relaxed before watching a very depressing Flyers-Devils game 5 in which New Jersey won 3-1, while I play Civilization 5. After the game, I went out for dinner with my family for sushi. Had great food and it was pretty satisfying!
After dinner we went home and I relaxed more until I showered later and now blogged! Time to sleep!

College Year 2 Summer Semester Day 1
First day of class began today! I totally was not ready for it as I wasn't able to get out of bed easily. Eventually I did, had breakfast, got dressed and got ready for school. I don't really have to take the public transit to anymore, as I can leave with my mom! Woo!!
First class was at 9:30am, my medieval history teacher did nothing but talk about the class and class expectations. It seems pretty easy, 2 midterms worth of definition and 1 major essay + an exam that is one essay in which we will get the question ahead of time.
After class, as usual I spend the time in the library killing time before heading to my Russian History class on 12:20pm. Once again, it was all about the course introduction and much like the class last semester. It was nearly identical with the expectation other than having a presentation.
After class, I went home to eat, and then relaxed before watching Hockey while playing Civilization 5. Had dinner later and now blogged. I have to sleep now!

Canucks Fan: Where the pain never seems to end
After last night's 1-0 loss to the LA Kings, the Vancouver Canucks are on the verge of being swept in the first time since 2001 to the Colorado Avalanche. My quote after losing to Boston in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals was, "We will be back next year." Well, this would be something I really want to take back now.
This team dominated in the regular season but the Presidents Trophy had been a whole lot of concern. From Day 1 on, I kept telling people that the overrated trophy is not something that the Canucks would want to get. Yes I do believe in the Presidents Trophy curse, I don't care if people aren't superstitious. I've got facts to back up my statements. Detroit Redwings 2006 over 120+ points. San Jose Sharks 2009, 53 wins. Washington 2010, 120+ points. And now the Vancouver Canucks 2012, 51 wins.
How does being #1 in the league even make you proud? We already got it last year and nearly choked it all up. "But we will have home ice advantage" Well, how did that turn out? We lost both at home! So that statement is so irrelevant. Home ice advantage has no meaning if you don't win!! Remember 2010 playoffs against Chicago? 0/3 at home!
Remember, Detroit, San Jose and Washington lost as a result of against a hot goalie and a defensive juggernaut team! Canucks are no different in this situation in dealing with the Kings! Well, looks like I am proving to all my idiot fellow Canucks fan who were stupid enough to want that Presidents Trophy. Well, you guys got it and look what is happening to this team. You happy now?
And to all of you who stated how the Canucks got to game 7 of the finals last year winning the Presidents Trophy, Vancouver had 54 wins and under 120+ points. As well, they played Chicago who wasn't as great defensively as the 2012 LA Kings. That being said, we were lucky enough to have beaten the Hawks in game 7. But look at what happened when the Canucks played the Boston Bruins, who is similar to the Kings of 2012. The Canucks lost! Bottom line, the Presidents Trophy is a curse so that get through your heads!! If you still don't believe it, you are in denial! When fact is presented in front of you.
This year hurts, the loss yesterday is a stab in the heart. Good guys never win, but bad guys always win. Justice.. no justice. Passionate fans never see their team success but bandwagon fans gets to see their team success. I agree, this world is never fair. I sure know how the Toronto Maple Leafs fans feel now. Well, no matter what the fans in Vancouver including myself and my crew will be together on this possible last game of the year on Wednesday. With my last breath and my last energy, we will fight to the very last man even if it means the destruction of our existence, Go Canucks Go! Will we some light in this spread of darkness?

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 25 Recap
Well, the week was short lived but the week has finally ended. My hockey pool business for 2012 is over! Before I go on, I just wanted to congratulate Team Justin for winning his first every league champion and Team KillerKane for winning back to back champions.
Since I was defeated in the semi final last week, I had to settle for 3rd place. Well in my NHL League, I played Team thething and had no problem beating him from start to finish. My goalies was great and my team was scoring enough to preserve this win. I end up winning 13-4 and won 3rd place.
In my VCanucks2012, I played Team 叉燒包 who I have currently swept in the regular season. Well we met again and I have no problem completely destroying him with a 16-1 win. My skaters and my goalies were just too much for him. Well now that hockey pool is all over, there is only one more thing and by far the most important thing, the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Well, my beloved Vancouver Canucks has captured their second consecutive Presidents Trophy in a row for being the league's best regular season with a 51-22-9 record. Playoff matchups have all been decided and Vancouver will be playing the Los Angelos Kings. I honestly dislike the Presidents Trophy as it puts too much pressure on the team to maintain success throughout the playoffs. As for the opponents, I won't even complain to who the Canucks will play, because to be a champion, one has to beat everything in its way! Schedule will be released tomorrow time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 78-80 Final
Well today marked the last day of the Spring semester. It was one tough ride but now the real test begins. Exams will be starting next week! Well I didn't really get a chance to blog because I busy with my research paper until midnight today.
This morning, I woke up at 6:50am as I had planned to do so in order to get to school early to study for my quiz today. Had noodles with Wonton. Later, got a ride to school from my mom.
I spend the first hour and a half studying on the comfy couch and then moved to the benches outside of my classroom and then inside my classroom. We did have the quiz right away when class began. 15 Multiple choice questions, 3 True or False and 2 short answers. After the quiz we finished off the lecture on Sexuality and Genders, as well as our final group discussions on male beauty. At the end of class, we did group evaluation and the course evaluation.
When everything is done, I head to the library to watch drama and then quickly finished my weekly readings before heading to class at 3:20pm. As I handed in my research essay and paragraph response. We finished the class off going over the discussion questions.
After class I went home to study a bit before watching the Canucks game and then had hot pot dinner and then relaxed before showering and now blogging. Time to sleep!

TVB Drama Review: Queens of Diamonds and Hearts
Well today I finished yet another drama series which is as listed on the title, Queens of Diamonds and Hearts. This show features primarily Roger Kwok ( The Emperor ), Fala Chan ( Queen of East Palace ) and Sharon Chan ( Queen of West Palace ).
This place setting is at the Qi Dynasty just located North East of China. Roger, who was the king was seen rather useless as he never bothers care about the country but rather himself and spends his time having fun. Fala one day was then ordered by her master to become the Queen of Qi to help the king and defend the country. Her tatoo on the her right eye is according to many people the map of Qi which means she is destined to save the country.
Difference between Fala and Sharon is that Fala was loved by the peasants and actually bothered caring about the country, while Sharon only wants to flirt with the King and doesn't care about anything else. Until later when the King was lost and had Fala saved him, he started to develop and soon matured at a slow pace.
Until Fala, Sharon and Roger's soul got changed later on, that was the first time when Roger actually rejected the flirt of Sharon as he is really maturing. And in the end, when Sharon's pregnancy ended due to poisoning from Ben Wong ( Lord who always wanted to rebel and overthrow the king so he could be emperor ) Sharon and Roger finally realize their flaws of mistreating and mistrusting Fala and when they succeeded in pressing down the rebellion they fully changed for the better.
Lesson learned that always appreciate the ones who are really your friend and are trying to help you. It also suggested that beauty does not represent the goods nor does ugly represents the bad. It could flow either way!

Well, the second round ended. I'm just gonna go short for this post, feeling pretty down right now. Yes both of my teams lost in the Semis. After so much hardwork, it had to end this way. Clearly my team was the far more superior team but one thing is certain. It doesn't matter how great your team is, you can't compete against fate. Yes that was what I was challenging, it was fate. The undesirable of finishing 1st really taught me a lesson. It was one of those mistakes where you know its wrong but you still do it and now I pay the price.
I lost 10-6 in my NHL League and 9-8 in my VCanucks2012 League. With the Sharks struggling, I knew it was going to be tough. My 10-6 loss is absolutely no chance of coming back as my opponent grew really hot in the middle of the week. Well I'm happy for my opponent to make it back to the finals since I defeated him in 2010 to claim my first title. My 9-8 loss was to my bitter rival whose team and players I hated pretty much. We traded leads for most parts until the very last day where I was leading 9-8. It all went wrong after he acquired 3 straight points which I called complete bullshit. But whatever, LETS GO TEAM HKL and Captain! 2 former commissioner and the future commissioner. Now that I'm playing for 3rd now. I don't really need to care too much and can direct my focus to school and the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoff. God, you owe me one. You know how much this loss hurts? I ask for nothing more but a Stanley Cup to Vancouver. Then I can forget everything else.

College Year 2: Day 75
Well, its the middle of the day today, I actually woke up a bit earlier than usual. I don't know why I had problems trying to sleep but its ok. I got to sleep quite well after and had no problem waking up.
I had a bowl of rice with not much else except lettuce and mushrooms. After breakfast, I left for school! Miss the bus and then later redeemed myself by making the train on time.
I arrived to school at around 12:00pm so I waited by my History lecture hall until 12:20pm when the other class students starts leaving. In class today, we lectured on Lebanon and continued with the Middle East. This time we lectured on Nasser and his rise to power in Egypt and to the Suez Canal. We also got our research paper back, I didn't expect so much but I got a B- on it as well we got our final exam guide.
After class I went home to watch my dramas and then went to work on my essay and did my readings before dinner and watched the Canucks in which they won. But my fantasy hockey pool is not doing so well!! Cmon boys!! get me some points and goals!!

I arrived to school at around 12:00pm so I waited by my History lecture hall until 12:20pm when the other class students starts leaving. In class today, we lectured on Lebanon and continued with the Middle East. This time we lectured on Nasser and his rise to power in Egypt and to the Suez Canal. We also got our research paper back, I didn't expect so much but I got a B- on it as well we got our final exam guide.
After class I went home to watch my dramas and then went to work on my essay and did my readings before dinner and watched the Canucks in which they won. But my fantasy hockey pool is not doing so well!! Cmon boys!! get me some points and goals!!

College Year 2: Day 74
Well today is a really fast paced day I must say! I woke up quite early, instead of 8:30am I woke up at 8:15am. Packed my backpack and then went to eat quickly. Had spaghetti while its a Tuesday.
After breakfast, I relaxed for a little while until 9:30am when I left the house with my mom as she would give me a ride to Aberdeen Station when I took the skytrain to school.
I was a little early so I sat outside of my classroom until the earlier class are all done then we all went in. In class today, we lectured on entertainment which included Bushido, Kendo, Judo and others. Later we had discussion about them.
After class I went to the cafe to buy lunch and then went to meet up with a friend. While I ate, we played Big 2 for a little until 1:30pm when he has class and then I went to the library to watch one drama first before going to my History class.
In class today, we got a lecture on the end of the Soviet Empire, which is the end of Brezhnev era and the start of the Gorbachev era which he was all about reforms and maintaining a good relationship with China, the West and its Eastern European neighbors. When class is over, we did this survey on course evaluation and then left.
I arrived home, watched my drama, started doing some essay and then had dinner and then continued to do my essay! Now its time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 73
Well okay, this week finally unfolded. Its time to look forward and not turn backwards. I woke up at 9:30am because I couldn't really sleep anymore, therefore I got down to eat breakfast. Rather had rice instead since my dad didn't have to work.
Afterwards, we left the house at like 11, he offered to give me a ride to Aberdeen skytrain station. I arrived to school at around 11:20am and then had to sit down on a couch near the cafe to kill time playing with Iphone.
By 12:15pm I was in my classroom getting ready for class. Though in class today, we lectured on the Middle East problems. Basically the Jewish immigrants settling into the new created state of Israel which it upset many Arabs people as their homeland is more and more crowded with unwanted Jews. Therefore, lot of war broke out in the middle east. I do feel for the Arab people. Although I have no idea why and how the Jewish population became so big. I mean, I thought only China would be like this but Jewish people aren't doing bad either!!
After class, I went home to watch my dramas, did my essay and ate dinner before watching the Canucks game. My sister was at the game and I bet she was happy after the Canucks beat the Kings 1-0.
Later I showered, now blogged and time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 71 and 72
I didn't have a chance to blog yesterday not because I didn't want to, but because I had to study for my quiz which happened today!! But for yesterday's class, we finished off the unit on China where Mao Zedong is dead!
Well today, I woke up at 7:50am and got dressed before going to eat and then left the house and arrived to school at 9:30am and was studying for my quiz outside of my class.
I swear, I'm literally fucked in all my quizzes now. I'm only average at best!! Say hello to my final mark!! Which affects my GPA!!! Good gracious!! The rest of the class, we continued to lecture on the minority group unit!!
After class, I went to the library to watch my drama and then did my readings for the seminar group! At 3:00pm I waited outside my classroom while playing Draw Something.
In class today, all we did was go over the questions and we got our paragraph response back! As expected, a 3.5/5. After class I went home to watch the canucks game in the dark!! They won 2-1 finally beat Dallas. Had dinner at the 2nd intermission and then finished the game and then went back to my room to do some homework before going to shower, write my blog, make my video clips and now time to sleep!!

College Year 2: Day 70
Not really a tough day but an annoying day, although it was okay. I woke up at 8:30am only because I get a ride to the skytrain station at 9:30am. I had spaghetti for breakfast, which I haven't had for quite a while now.
After I'm finished my meal, I got a ride to the skytrain station and arrived to school quite late, 10:10am, and went straight to my Asian Studies classroom which there was no one there.
In class today, we lectured on a new unit, the minority group. I don't know where she was really trying to lead us to, because she went off topic and rambled on other things which I have no clue if they relate to the topic.
After class, I went to the library to watch my dramas before heading back to building B outside my history classroom.
In class today, we got a lecture on the end of Khrushchev's era and the Brezhnev era. He seems like a guy who is willing to cooperate with the west, by signing treaty to remove their missiles and ban nuclear weapon testing.
After class, I went home to start doing my readings pretty much from then on till now! Time to get ready for bed! And no, I am not looking forward to the Canucks-Blackhawks game!!!

College Year 2: Day 69
The beginning of this week just unfolded. Yeah I know it sucks today but we all have to suck it up anyways! In fact, Monday sucks!!
I woke up at 10:00am today, rolled out of bed to brush and pack my stuff and then went downstairs to get a bowl of fried rice. After breakfast, I left the house for school.
Arrived quite early, so I sat down on a couch near the cafe until 12:00pm and then went to sit in the bench outside my History lecture hall. In class today, we continued to lecture on China and Mao Zedong with the Great Leap Forward which is nearly identical to the 5 year plan which Stalin imposed to the Soviet Union.
After class, I went home to watch my dramas, and then later picked up my mom from her trip back and went home to eat dinner and then blogged and now its time to sleep!

Tvb Drama Review: The Hyocratic Crush
Well, I finished watching the show, The Hyppocratic Crush and I must say, there is really a lot to learn about life and death here. Many brilliant lessons that one should take note of.
This show primarily features Kenneth Ma AKA 張一健 ( Neurosurgery specialist trainee, later specialist ), Tavia Yeung AKA 范子妤 ( Neurosurgery/Cardiothoracic surgery specialist trainee ), Mandy Wong AKA 洪美雪 ( Neurosurgery specialist trainee and Tavia Yeung ), Ben Wong AKA 莊博文 ( Neurosurgery specialist deputy consultant ), Him Law AKA 楊沛聰 ( Neurosurgery specialist trainee/ Cheung Yat Kin's subordinate ), Marcus kwok AKA 湯漢邦 ( Neurosurgery specialist trainee/ Cheung Yat Kin's subordinate ), Benjamin Yuen, his name is also Benjamin in the show, ( Orthopaedics specialist trainee ), Tse Cheuk Yin AKA Andy ( Orthopaedics specialist trainee ), Candy Chang AKA 簡晶晶 ( Internal Medicine specialist trainee ), Paisley Hu AKA 屠家敏 ( A Matron ) and Derek Kok AKA 呂小益 ( A Nurse ).
The show unfolds when Tavia, Him, Mandy, Candy, Tse Cheuk Yin all went to the hospital where they would be working as houseman and get trained to be a professional doctor, with Kenneth Ma as their leader. He would primarily yell at Him Law for being lazy and not getting things done the right way. But soon, their relationship developed and Him finally became serious when working with a Patient who later dies which woke him up.
Tavia was exceptional which she then got to be promoted to do operations which much less the other group didn't get the privilege but to assist her. She and Mandy were sister, but they didn't know until their divorced parents met again which they took time to accept the hard cold fact. Tavia's father also happen to be Kenneth's master which Kenneth was taught many things.
After many episodes, first Tavia has a crush with Kenneth, but he rejected her which he later had to regret for a period of time before they get together at Marcus's wedding which was pretty bizarre. This when Tavia was suffering a serious illness which causes her back to go in heavy pain and she would lose strength but she would eventually recover!!!
At the end, they would all be okay. Although there is much to learn about life in this show. Always appreciate life and the people around you, because not everyone can be as lucky as others!!!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 22 Recap
Wow, the regular season for the fantasy hockey is all completed now! So that means there is only one thing left! That is the playoffs of course! It seems like the start of the pool just started yesterday! And now with a blink of an eye, its the end already!!
In my NHL League, I played Team Captain for the last time! It was a back and forth rally for the both of us, with ups and downs streak to go along the way. Well, we finished this week with an 8-8 tie, thanks to Ryan Getzlaf's shorthanded assist that brought me back to even and my goalies both won today, preventing me from blowing a one loss lead!! I finish the regular season with being 1st, with the best record in franchise history, hitting over 200 categories win! Starting tomorrow, I will have a one week rest as I wait for my next opponent in the Semi Final!
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played Team HKL for one last time. I haven't beat him yet, which it was the final chance for me to do so, to end the season. I managed to keep pace with him for most part and eventually won 12-5, would have been 12-4 if it wasn't for Eric Staal's assist on the Hurricanes' game winning goal today, but whatever! I still won more than him in our matchup! I finished the season over 200 categories win, first time both of my fantasy teams ranked in the same spot and nearly identical records. I will have a one week break while I wait for my next opponent in the Semi- Final!

College Year 2: Day 68
Well, it sure has been a tough day and a strange one too. Problem is so much work and way too many transitional changes. I woke up straight at 8:00am, while being unable to sleep well last night.
Had noodles for breakfast for the 3rd time this week!! Later I went to school after getting a ride to Aberdeen station. Was relatively early, so I sat in the benches near my classroom while other classes were still going on.
In class today, we continued to lecture on the criminal rate in Japan. Looked at many statistics and what not. Its quite understandable how Japanese society has had the less crime rate, only because nobody really is willing to do things on their own but rather together. We also got our quiz back. For the first time I've failed my quiz, 9/20.
After class I went to the library to watch dramas and killed time before heading to my seminar group at 3:30pm. We went over all the reading questions and hand in our paragraph response.
After class, I went home to relax, ate dinner and spend the rest of the day trying to organize hockey, ate dinner, chit chat on msn and blogged. Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 67
What a shit day! Yes it sucks!! But before we get to that, lets clean up some stuff first. I woke up at 8:30am today. Although its a Wednesday, I woke up to go to Dim Sum with my family and relative.
Left the house at 9:15am and arrived at 9:40am. We ordered lots of things and finished most but not everything! I left at 11:00am when my mom gave me a ride to school and left for work later.
I arrived pretty darn early so I hung out at the computer lab until 12:00pm before waiting to enter my classroom for History. We handed in our essay, lectured for one hour about the post-war in China related to Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai Shek. Later we watched a film about it.
After class, I went home to watch my dramas and then briefly began my response paragraph to be handed in for tomorrow and later watched the Canucks lose!
Dear God, I don't know what the Canucks have ever done but why do you always go up against my beloved team! Its not fair for the passionate fans in this wonderful to suffer for 40+ years! While teams in other non-hockey market gets to see their team win championship! As a Canucks fan, I share the same desire as everyone else here and that is to see this team hoist the cup! You obviously broken our heart last year and we all want what we desired back!

College Year 2: Day 67

The fact that the noodles look green really destroyed my appetite. It does taste normal but the looks already ruined everything.
After breakfast, I got a ride from my mom to Aberdeen station before going to school myself! I arrived a little early and sat down at the bench outside my classroom door to read.
In class today, we lectured on the Japanese crime rate. Apparently Japanese has the lowest crime rate, only because of their stubborn Amai mindset, which forbade people to act on their own. We also watched a video about that too! Most people who are dropout students are those on street partying and joining motorcycle gangs.
After class I went to the cafe to get a Triple Os meal before heading to the library to watch my dramas. By 2:20pm I had to get to my history class quickly!

Pick your choice, Rain? Or Wind? I'll be honest, I'm okay with either one. That being said, I am not ok with both together! Seriously when rain and wind go together, its just a complete natural disaster!! Well the wind has been blowing since last night! Its so pissing how it just doesn't stop! STOP DAMMIT!

Okay! The second last week of the fantasy pool regular season just finished. It sure was a great week just not for my NHL team!! But playoff is drawing very near and many teams scrambling to make the playoffs!
In my NHL league, I played Team Rakay. The guy is really inactive and I won pretty easily. 14-1 was the score. I played my hot goaltender this week and it helped my team a lot. I remained in first place and now I will play Captain for one final time before the playoffs begin!! Good luck to the both of our teams!!
In my VCanucks2012, I played Team dbl_big_mac who had the best goaltending pair. I still managed crushed his team even though a late small push by him which cut my win to 12-3 in the end. I really don't have to complain about the score as I remain first now. Starting tomorrow, I will play Team HKL for one last time before the playoffs begin. Finally weekend for me, this school week sure was over with a snap! I woke up at 8:00am today, knowing I have school at 10:30am. I had fried rice for breakfast and later went to school on my own!
I was quite early today, so I had sat on the bench outside my classroom to look at my notes for the quiz today. We did begin the quiz right when class started. It wasn't too bad, but I still expect a decent mark. Prediction 13/20. After the quiz, we went on to talk about Family relations, regarding Husband-Wifes and their expectation for one another when it comes to working and having children.
After class, I went to the library to kill off 3.5 hours of break by watching my dramas and surfing the internet for the whole time.
I did go to class when it was 3:30pm. All we did was went over the discussion questions we had to do for our reading. Surprisingly, we finished early today, unlike other times where we basically went overtime!
I went home after class to eat dinner and then watched the highly anticipated Canucks-Jets game! After the game, I took a shower and now blogged! Time to eat and relax!

College Year 2: Day 64
In the middle of the week, it sure was a short day compared to yesterday! Well, this morning seemed to be a bit of rush as I had to wake up to go to Dim Sum with my dad and sister.
We left the house at 9:15am and arrived at around 9:35am. The restaurant I have never been to before, the things are quite expensive. I can't believe my most craved Shark Fin Soup cost like $6, therefore I didn't order it. We ordered rice, shrimp dumpling, ducks legs, fish slice congee and some sweet dumpling which I have no clue what it is.
By 11:00am, we finished and I got a ride to Lansdowne Canada-Line station. Arrived to school at 11:20am, all time early! I went to the library to kill time before heading to class. Although we had a short lecture, we watched an hour of film and then was able to go home early!
I went to watch my dramas after I got home, and then went to do my readings and later had dinner, and started studying for my quiz for tomorrow!

College Year 2: Day 63
It sure is a sunny day. I don't like how my day ended but it happens all the time! Anyways, I woke up at 8:30am today, since its a Tuesday! Had noodles for breakfast and then prepared to go to school. But I get a ride from my mom to Aberdeen before taking the Canada-Line to Langara!
I was relatively early today therefore I just sat inside my classroom and hanged out with a few classmates before class began! In class today, we finished our discussions and then went to watch a video on Japanese work ethics. Where work means more than just making money but its also based on life and how others will look at you!
After class, I hung out at the library until 2:00pm before waiting to go in to my History class. In class today, we lectured starting on the War-time conferences during WW2, as the Allies discusses the post-war period! As well as the Cold War!!! After class, we got our essay outline back. Got 7.5/10. Won't complain
After class I went home to watch my dramas, ate dinner and watched the depressing Canucks game. This team surely showed no heart to play the game! I bet I could have played far better than them!

Afterwards, I left for school. Arrived at 11:45am and I just sat around until class began. While in class today, we lectured on the Soviet Empire when Brezhnev was removed from power and Gorbachev took over, as well as the fall of the Iron Curtain, the separating of Czechoslovakia in two different state.
When class was done, I met up with a friend who returned my laptop's power adapter, while he was photoshooting. We then went to Aberdeen later to look for things at NCIX, as well I tried to help him look for a Wobbuffet toy, but couldn't find anything. I bought myself a bubble Tea later and as well we went to "CandyLand" to buy junk food. I bought 3 different flavors of chips. Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 20 Recap
The regular season for our pool is coming close to an end! It feels like the draft was just yesterday! Unbelievable how fast time has passed! Every week is so tough, no easy wins with all opponents giving everybody challenges
In my NHL League, I played Team Top Ten, who apparently ranked dead last place. I easily beat him 13-3, although I didn't want to win that big, because I don't want to be first. Captain won 12-1 and he now trails 3 points behind me. My team was decent all week, until my goalies started collapsing but was good enough to not totally shit the bed! They will have to be better in the future though.
In my VCanucks2012 League, I played, Team Schneiderman, very tough opponent if you match fire power with fire power! Well, after taking a huge lead, as much as 14-5, he eventually pulled within 2 and lost 9-7. That means I won 9-7! Well, I don't care, I was glad he was able to tie 2 more categories!! I didn't want to be first and now I'm tied with Team HKL for first place! Tomorrow I will be playing Team DBL_BIG_MC! Against his superior goalies!

College Year 2: Day 61
My first weekend in the month of March just began after the end of this week! Weeeee!! It must feel good to finish class already and have a 3 day rest!
I woke up at 8:00am today and had stomach ache problems after having breakfast. Had to suffer all the way till I get to school then let it all out! Kind of inappropriate but whatever.
In class today, we continued on lecturing about Japanese schooling system and we watched videos and had group discussion based on it.
After class, I went to have PHO with a friend who later picked me up. Later on, he drove me as he went to have his sales. I didn't mind because I have a 3 hour break and had to kill time! Although by the time he was done, it was almost 3:00pm so he dropped me off back to school and left.

College Year 2: Day 60
Well its already Wednesday! With a blink of an eye! Yes absolutely! I woke up quite late today, nearly at 10:00am. Had to crave for noodles, but hell its green and it just makes me sick to my stomach!
At 11:00am, I left the house for school and arrived at 12:00pm. Since I had to return goalie equipments to a friend, I waited at the cafe for him. I almost ran late to class as I barely made it to my class in time before 12:30pm.
In class today, we lectured on Brezhnev and his power in the Soviet Union as well as Sakharov, Prague SPring 1968, the fall of Gomulka and Alexander Dubcek. We also got our annotated bibliography back. I got 8/10 on it :) Now its time to A grade my essay as well!!
After class I went home to have a little snack before watching my dramas. Later I went to do some research for my essay, had dinner, followed hockey, showered, did my readings and now blogged!! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 59
So its been one day since the Hodgson trade, things was normal again. Well, at least for me! Woke up at 8:30am instead of regularly 8:00am.
Had fried rice instead and then later got a ride to the Canada-line station to school! Arrived 15 minutes ahead of time and I basically just sat outside of my classroom until it was time.
In class today, we lectured on Education in Japan. As far as I'm concerned, the Japanese school system is quite a complicated process due to many levels of schools that students had to attend in order move on. We also watched a video on kindergarten schooling system. Lots of inappropriate scenes, if it was in North America.
After class I went to the Cafe to buy Triple O's to eat. Knowing I'd be starving to death by dinner time, I'd decided to get full first! After I ate, I went to the library to kill some time before heading into my History class.
We lectured on Stalin + Hitler and the second world war. Moreover the Nazi Soviet Pact as well as Operation Barborossa!!
After class I went home to eat dinner, didn't watch the game but got play by play update! Hated what happened in the end, but whatever. I'll take matters in my own hands now!!
Now its time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 56
I will keep this post short. Only because it was a rough day and I have no interest in writing so much about it. Basically my day was pretty much paying to the brutal NHL Trade deadline and attended class.
Too bad Cody Hodgson was traded away, among all players. Now Canucknation is all pissed off at Mike Gillis! Well on paper, Buffalo wins this deal but it seems like both teams got what they needed so I don't really know! What do you think?

TVB Drama Review: Let It Be Love
Well as you can see, the title kind of gave away what the series is all about. Yes its a love/romance drama series, not that I don't like it, it was pretty darn good!
The show featured Moses Chan ( 余鎮東/Andy), a long time fan, Charmaine Sheh ( Chloe), a superstar, later on became Moses's husband, Kenny Wong ( Cyrus) a sports news reporter, Elvina Kong ( Kelly) a news reporter later becoming Cyrus's boyfriend, Rachael Kan ( Hayley) a lawyer, King Kong ( Nick) a financer who is later Hayley's boyfriend in the end, Wai Ka Hung ( 鍾炳良) a Tobacco control inspector and Tracey Ip ( Elsa ) who is the Corporate affairs officer and is Wai Ka Hung's girlfriend later.
Basically, the show revolves around these 4 couples but they don't get together until the last couple of episodes. Moses and Charmaine first met when Moses was in the hospital and Charmaine went to visit him due to his dedication for her. Since that, they have been together and their relationship builts up. Eventually, Charmaine announces on television that she will marry Moses. Although conflicts do occur later in the show, especially about Charmaine filming while naked and Moses had objections to it, they separated for a while and later got together in the end.
As for Wai Ka Hung and Tracey's part, by far my favorite couple in the show, they both met inside a hospital while in wheelchair. They met when Tracey wanted to watch TV but an old guy was being ass about it and wouldn't let her and Wai Ka came to help her. Eventually they realize they both like one show that they both happen to watch and would talk about it. Later on, they both will meet much more and eventually get together after Tracey breaks up with her boyfriend and Wai Ka breaking up with his old girlfriend.
Funniest couple would happen to be Rachael Kan and King Kong, who basically met at the bar, because King Kong spends pretty much his free time after work at the bar and meet girls. King Kong in the show has problems with losing hair and after getting to know Rachael, she decides to help him with financial things and let him be her client. He did attempt to seduce her at times and none bigger than the fact he tricked her with a friend and got laid for a short while until she found out and pissed off at him. But things later resumed back to normal and in the end they still end up being together. Best quote from him I remember was when he yelled at the waitress to not distract him, because he publicly announced how he would be able to get her to go to bed with him if he can't talk to her properly!
By far my least favorite couple of the 4 group is Elvina Kong and Kenny Wong, who both works as news reporter. Those 2 kept mentioning about relationshiop problems as Elvina tries at first to hook up girls with Kenny and report back to her. Pretty useless. Those 2 won't get together until in the last episode when the UFO appeared and he found her and took her with him! How boring!!
I must say, this show is pretty serious but funny at the same time. Lots to learn about relationship, but I guess relationship is something you learn as you experience. Tips are useful but experiencing is very important!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 19 Recap
Woah, this week ended already! Thank goodness. This was pretty ugly, way too many struggle to gain advantage on everyone else. Just 3 more weeks to go until the playoffs!! Definitely will be great!
In my NHL League, I played Team Justin, previously defeated on the New Years Eve Week. This time I managed to beat him 9-5, although had lots of struggles between my players' NHL club. Niemi was pretty terrible this week, with the injury of Cam Ward, I've lost an option of a goalie to start. I also happened to trade Jeff Carter away from superstar defencemen, Nicklas Lidstrom. Its fine, because I still managed to reach 200 Faceoff wins!! Starting tomorrow, I will be playing Team Top Ten AKA TTT. I'm not sure if I really need to play my players because I'm pretty sure I will beat him with ease. I still lead the league, but I just don't understand how I'm still 1st, when I'm only leading by 13 points and Team Captain finishes this week, 1 point more than my lead over him. 17 categories in total, I lead by 13 points. I won 9-5, he won 14-1. Win difference = 5 categories, = 10 points + he has fewer losses by 4 which gives him an additional 4 points, making it 14 points! Although I will check tomorrow!

Its pretty annoying to lose against him, considering his team practically sucks ass! Well, I dropped back to my desired 2nd place while Team HKL is first, for beating up the last place team, 15-2. Well, I don't know if I've clinched a playoff spot yet, I will assume so, even if I lost by 1. If I haven't, I will for sure secure it by next week, latest!!!

College Year 2: Day 58
Well I must say its a gorgeous day today! Love the brilliant weather and such. I woke up at 8:10am and slowly packed my stuff and went to eat. Though I left the house at 9:15am which was way beyond late for me as I usually leave at 9:00am instead, only because I had make sure I get a download link going for my dramas.
I arrived at school at 10:15am, way beyond late for my schedule. I went to my Asian studies class and we finished lecturing on Religion and supernatural phonomenon things. In my opinion its more of Japanese superstition, like myself! And this is what we had to discuss as well!
After class, I picked up goalie equipments from a friend at the cafe and then went to hand in money for gym rental at Kensington, then I bussed to McDonalds to eat and bussed back to school, just in time for my History class to begin.
In class today, we lectured on the show trial and purges in which Stalin purged many people that he thinks would be a threat to this political views! Later on, we spend the rest of the class watching Battleship Row, the movie.
After class, I went home to watch the Canucks game. I was already 1-0 Detroit, but after watching the rest of the game, Canucks finally snapped Detroit's 23 home winning streak! Pretty proud of my boys here, but they have a game tomorrow in New Jersey, but whatever!

College Year 2: Day 57
A pretty gorgeous day today unlike yesterday where it was raining like a bitch. I slept like I was dead until 10:00am today. Got dressed up in good form and went downstairs for breakfast.
Typical Wednesday which my dad has no work which we had to eat rice. Oh well I won't complain. After breakfast I left the house for school. Arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. I then sat around until 12:15pm before heading into my history class.
Today, we lectured on the Vietnam war and the Richard Nixon era. Basically the Americans lost the war because they had no idea where enemy was and they didn't know what they were fighting for. More Americans troop dies in the war than the enemy itself.
After class, I went home to eat something first and watched my drama before doing my readings and had dinner now blogged!! Time to sleep!

Today, we lectured on the Vietnam war and the Richard Nixon era. Basically the Americans lost the war because they had no idea where enemy was and they didn't know what they were fighting for. More Americans troop dies in the war than the enemy itself.
After class, I went home to eat something first and watched my drama before doing my readings and had dinner now blogged!! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 56
I must say it was a pretty shitty day today. Weather was pretty darn bad because it was raining pretty much the whole day but stopped at times.
I woke up at 8:30am, knowing I don't need to take the bus to the station. Had sandwich for breakfast, but of course it wasn't enough to last until 4:30pm. I left the house at 9:30am and took the skytrain to langara 49th and walked to campus.
I sat for 15 minutes by my classroom until 10:20am before heading into class. While in class we first got our midterm back and our latest quiz. 26/40 on the midterm and 11.5/20 quiz. Oh well! We spend rest of the class lecturing about Japanese religion.
After class I went to the library to kill time before 2:00pm and then went to my history lecture. We lectured on Arts and cultures in the Soviet Union. As well we were shown some art works.
After class I went home to get updates on the Canucks game and then had hot pot dinner later. Pretty bad day for hockey. Everything went wrong but luckily Phoenix won which I will say could be the turning point of this week!

College Year 2: Day 55
Well, school resumed right after a one week reading break! Although I pretty much spend my break doing my annotated bibliography for my two history classes.
I woke up at 9:00am this morning and packed my stuff ready to go to school early. I had macaroni and had 10 minutes to eat because my mom had to leave soon! We left the house at 9:40am and I arrived to school at 9:55am.
I pretty much spend the whole time in the library reviewing my history notes for my midterm which occurred at 12:30pm today. The midterm wasn't really that hard considering I pretty much got the answer to most questions. The essay wasn't really that bad, we had to write about the cooperation of the Soviet Union and the United States. Prediction 19/25.
After the exam, I went home to watch my dramas and ate something. Later, I just went to look over my Asian studies notes and talk to a few friends about hockey!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 18 Recap
First time I was pretty darn late to blog about this only because I had to prepare for my midterm all the day yesterday and didn't have time to blog about week 18
In my NHL League, I played Burnaby Thunder last week and after many back and forth trading huge lead, I managed to sweep the season series with an 8-6 victory. My goalies weren't all that great but was good enough to capture enough of the categories to preserve this win. His skaters definitely was better than mines by a bit. But it was still not enough to beat me. I managed to preserve being 1st and I'm the first team to clinch a playoff spot!
In my VCanucks2012 league, I played Team CanuckLegend who currently ranks dead last in the league. While his goalies was spectacular, I managed to capture almost all of the skaters categories, giving me a convincing 11-4 win and now tops the league for the first time this season! My players had timely points which helped me preserve this win. Starting today I will be playing Team Infineon Novellus.

TVB Drama Review: L'Escargot
Well, sorry to be late for this but I didn't have the mood to blog about this since I was pretty exhausted for the past few days at the wrong time.
Well I finished the drama: L'Escargot, which featured primarily Michael Mui and Sonija Kwok as husband and wife. Pretty much this drama featured these two characters trying to seek a place where they could settle rather than having to live with their other family members at a very small apartment place.
Michael's job was to renew houses and apartments by replacing doors, windows, and many other house objects with his master and other crew members. Until one day, Michael Tse ( Ko Wang Chim) a very rich Estate Agent had an order for the group to work his house. After appreciating his work he admires him and those 2 get along.
The show didn't really turn out to be great until Michael's younger brother got scammed after he ordered products and owed $600,000 in debts. Michael's younger sister's boyfriend, Ron Ng ( Ting Koon Fung ) tried to help by gaining money from buying stocks but eventually crashed and then owed $300,000 in debts, making the situation much worse. However by then, Michael already was had a secret crush on Linda, Ron's girlfriend therefore he stepped in and easily repaid all their debts. At the cost of Linda agreeing to go to bed with him which she didn't have a choice of.
Because of this, Ron later found out, freaked out and decided to end the relationship. Eventually Ron gets another girlfriend who happens to be Michael Tse's younger sister, JJ Jia ( Joyce) who is a very shy girl and stutters a lot. Ron at first just wanted to piss off his former girlfriend which did happen but Ron decides to continue on his relationship with her.
On the otherhand, Michael continued to pursue Linda while Linda is very reluctant to do so but most of the times she didn't have a choice but to let him help her and such on. This eventually triggered a problem with his original wife, Joyce Tang ( Lee Man Wah ) who was being very suspicious and decide to follow them only to find out it was Linda herself.
After having a talk and slap in the face by her in the later episode, she decides to divorce him which Michael didn't want to. Until she loses her baby at the same time had her friend to close out all the sponsor that Michael gets money from, to his company he realizes its time to stop.
Because he ordered his crew members to get people to cut powers off from the apartment building that they decide to hold back, it caused a fire accident which caused several deaths. Michael later went to turn himself in as he holds responsibility for the accident. Which his wife later forgives him.
Moral lesson for this show: Cheating is very wrong. Stay loyal to whoever is with you! Don't be so greedy!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 17 Recap
Week 17 is finally done. I can't be upset about it, actually it was pretty good. I guess its because it went according to how I wanted it to be. Well here it is.
In my NHL League, I played Team BieksaAllent, on a week I had no intention of winning but still tried not to lose purposely. Well I got what I really wanted. I did end up losing 10-5 for him. His team did put up an excellent performance, skaters put up 55 points and his goalies was amazing! Good effort! Too bad its still not enough to reach what I wanted. I guess my lead in the standings is too much and will take a more blowout loss to get pulled back down! Starting tomorrow I will be playing Team Burnaby Thunder, trying to sweep the season series against him. Hopefully when I beat him, it won't be a blowout!

The difference was that my team was able to produce a little more as well my goalies was far better this week! I managed a 12-4 win and moved 2 points behind him before I dethrone his first seed spot that he had been holding for a long time now! Tomorrow I will be playing Team CanuckLegend, the worst team. Pretty sure I will topple Patrick after this week! As long as my team is decent enough!

College Year 2: Day 53-54
I didn't blog yesterday because I had to prepare for a midterm which occurred today. I woke up at 7:00am today because I wanted to get to school a little earlier. I felt tired so after this I'm going to sleep!
I had rice for breakfast, something not unusual when my dad has no work. After that, I got a ride to school from my mom. Since I was quite early, I spend time at the library studying.
At 10:00am I went inside my classroom to study and had the exam right away. It had an essay about Hikikomori and matching as well as multiple choice. The whole midterm was 1 hour long, in my opinion wasn't long enough so I didn't have all the time to put in a great essay. Prediction: 24/40.
After the midterm, our class went to the main Voyager for the Asian Studies event. There, we get to explore things as well as get free food. Pretty cool, I stayed there for a good 45 minutes before leaving for the library. While at the library I was surfing the net for the next hour or so before entering my History class for seminar.
After the seminar, I went to commerical-granville stn to meet a friend before going back to his place to watch the Canucks game. We also played NHL 12, where I pretty much beat him every game except the very last one!
At 10:00pm, I left to go home, took a shower and now blogged! Time to sleep!
