College Year 2: Day 49

Well, its almost the middle of the week! Second day of the week started. I woke up at 8:30am, knowing that I'd get a ride to the Canada-Line station from my mom, rather than having to take the bus.

I got dressed and had noodles for breakfast. It was actually the perfect meal, because I felt like having noodles today and it was cold around the house so the meal was just perfect.

After breakfast, I started packing and relaxed until 9:30am when my mom gave me a ride to Aberdeen Station. I then took the Canada-Line to school and arrived at 10:00am.

In Asian Studies today, we talked about Gambaru, which is mean to work hard in Japanese Society. While Japanese have the blind mindset of hard working = success. I certainly don't agree to that. Pretty sure my Captain Friend won't either. I mean, if you're not good at something. We also had information about the quiz. Apparently its not as bad, because its only a couple of terms.

After class, I went to the library to study for the quiz until 2:00pm before heading to my History class.

In class today, we lectured on the Bolsheviks policy towards Russia and how Lenin has to have the public support before anything could be done. Also got back our paragraph response! Everybody got a 5/5 on it. Impressive!

After class I went home to watch my dramas and then watched the Canucks game where they won 3-2 in overtime over the hated Chicago Blackhawks!! Had dinner later and then now blogged. Time to finish the video!

College Year 2: Day 48

A brand new week unfolded today. Since its a Monday, I didn't have to wake up that early because I have school at 12:30pm. Well, I did wake up at 10:00am and began packing for school.

Had leftover party food for breakfast. Which was rice with seafood and tomato sauce. Yum! After, I just left for school. That was then 10 after 11. I arrived to school at 12:00pm and had to wait for 30 minutes before going into class.

In class today, we lectured on the Americans public's reaction to the Cold War, as well as guys like Alger Hiss who was convicted guilty for spreading information to the Soviets about the Americans plan, which he didnt' really do. As well as the McCarthy Era, and the Korean war. We then watched a film later regarding that.

After class I went home to watch my dramas and then went to do my homework. Readings and response.

Had dinner later, and then took a shower and blogged! Time to sleep!

TVB Drama Review: Wish and Switch

Alright so today has marked the end of the series, Wish and Switch. I didn't expect it to be finished so soon but it did. The show wasn't bad at all, it was actually pretty funny at times for each episodes, as well strange and dramatic things occurred.

This show features primarily of two female characters, Myolie Wu better known as Fan Suk Heung, the household of the Fan family and Selena Li, known as Hailey, Wing Yiu's fake wife ( Their story unfolds as they were told to be faked married).

Primarily this drama was about the two ladies' obsession with the so called, "Strange Website" that they accessed through a library computer but later the computer was taken by Myolie's brother and was hidden due to the fact that the computer was damaged by these two ladies during a fight in earlier episodes and was being take by the truck for disposal.

The Strange Website possess hidden powers which one can exchange anything they want, but had to give up something in return. As well, the user is not allowed to say anything about it otherwise they'll suffocate.

Near the end of the last couple of episodes, Myolie's husband wanted to get promoted in the company for business affairs that he offered his boss 20 years younger, in exchange of what she had to fight off, her illness which causes her to not remember people or really anything.

When he finally got fired from the boss's son, Wing Yiu, he was completely out of his mind, and even went as far as murdering for money. By then, Myolie already had exchanged her life in order to get him to be his self again.

Eventually she was killed by the gangsters who seek to kill her husband for the money he stole. Realizing her death, everybody in the family changed for the good.

So the moral of this drama is not to take things for grant and not to abuse privileges. Take what you need and stop going for more. The more you take, the more consequences you'll face.

Tomorrow, will be a brand new drama!! With my most favorite actress in it!

College Year 2: Day 47

Well, last day of class before I can enjoy my weekend today! Well, it had been such a staling day for me.

I woke up at 8:20am instead of 8:00am, only because I had my mom giving me a ride to the nearest Canada-Line station so I wasn't in a hurry. Left the house at 9:20am and was there at 9:30am before taking the train to school which I arrived at 9:50am.

I yet again did not go to the library to kill time, rather I sat by my classroom door until the other class had finished their class and we waited inside.

First we did in class was getting our quiz back. I knew I was going to pass and I did, but just a marginal pass. 12.5/20. But whatever, first quiz, I now know what her quizzes will be like so I can be prepared for the better in the next one!

While in class today, we talked about what Japanese thought about making an effort to succeed. It was debatable, because making effort doesn't always lead to success and according to the Japanese, its the only way. What we argued for is that, some people might not be as good with something, as in not having the talent. Take me for example, I have no talent at all in drawing pictures, I can still try my ass off to produce a better one, but will not be as good as those who possess the talent!!

After class, I went to the library to kill time by doing some readings and surfing the internet. By 2:00pm I left and wait for class to start.

Since its a Thursday, it was a seminar class instead of a lecture. We basically went over the discussion questions that we had for homework. We went overtime because most people spend a lot of time talking while we couldn't get moving on to another question.

After class I got home and watched the all-star draft. I will be cheering for Team Alfredsson, only because 3/4 Canucks are on his team. I have no desire to cheer for a team full of Bruins + Patrick Kane. Though, I guess Chara took the Canucks/Bruins rivalry to another level by not splitting the Sedins up when had lots of opportunities to. Kudos to Alfredsson to build Team Sweden all over again.

I had dinner later and finished everything now. It's time to relax!

College Year 2: Day 46

The middle of the week just finished and moving tomorrow!! I must say its better than the crap weather I had to endure to school and back yesterday! At least there was no rain, it wasn't sunny but good enough to travel without an umbrella!!

I woke up at 10:00am today, as usual to get dressed and prepared for school. Had rice again, it's always rice and I'm getting pretty sick of it! After breakfast, I went straight to school, which occurred at 11:10am. Though I'd be late, but no that wasn't the case!

I arrived to school at 11:50am, and decided not to go to the library but sat on the one of the couch until 12:20pm before heading into class.

In class today, we focused directly on the cold war, as well as the Truman Doctrine, Marshall Plan and the Cominform as well as the Warsaw Pact. Showdown between the US and the USSR to rally as much support as they could to outdo one another. Both sides had no direct exchange, it was more of a mind game!

After class, I went home to watch my drama and then did my homework for my other History class, had dinner, showered and blogged!! Time to sleep!!

College Year 2: Day 45

It had been a rainy day all day, I certainly did not feel like going to school, but I had no choice!

I woke up at 8:00am to get ready for school. Had cereal for the first time in 6 years with milk!

Later, I traveled through the rainy and windy weather for school! Arrived at 9:50am. I then spend time at the library and then went to class.

In Asian Studies today, we finished up the lecture for last day and then had an activity where we get tested to see if we are thinking like Asian or a Westerner! Pretty cool, but odd at times!!

After class, I went to the library to do homework for a little while and went on youtube to browse videos. By 2:00pm, I went to wait for class.

In History2234, we were lecturing on the Russian Civil War, with the Red Army taking on the White, as well as the Bolsheviks take to power.

After class, I went home, had dinner, watched the Canucks game and now blog! Time to sleep!

College Year 2: Day 44

Well, although the start of the week occurred today, it also happened to be Chinese New Year. So I first wanted to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year!

This morning, I woke up at 9:30am, realizing I was 30 minutes off. Anyways, I got dressed and went to eat 15 minutes later. Had lettuce and mushroom with rice for a breakfast to start.

I then relaxed until 11:00am before heading to school. Though bus was late and I arrived to school off my designated time. Still got there at 11:10am and then waited for class to begin.

In class today, we lectured on the aftermath of WW2. Primarily how to deal with Germany, the Nuremberg and Tokyo Trial where war criminals were triad. As well as the start of the cold war.

After class, I went to metro and met my friend there at the food court I had KFC while he got Tim Hortons. After we ate, we left for Rona to meet Canucks forward, David Booth! The lineup was large but we were still able to get his autograph + a picture!!

Later, I went home and had dinner!! And watched my drama, now it's time to sleep!

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 15 Recap

This tedious and annoying week has finally come to an end, and it's better off to look in the bright side starting tomorrow.

In my NHL League, I played Team Captain, perhaps my most respected opponent. For the most part, everything was great, except getting goals. In fact my players dished out more assist than scoring goals themselves, but whatever. I managed to pull off a good performance and win by a score of 12-4, leaving me in 1st still, although I really didn't mind that he beats me, but it just didn't happen. Tomorrow, I will be playing Team thething, I can never beat his team and I have two weeks of time to beat him since its the allstar week!

In my VCanucks2012 League, I face off against Team HKL, an opponent I seem to have trouble beating, due to being tied. I had a great start, but collapsed on Wednesday right after Mike Smith sucked! Later on, all my goalies would start sucking. Eventually even with a 44 point performance, I still lost by a score of 10-5. Now I dropped back to the undesirable 3rd seed. Starting tomorrow, I will be playing Team Genocide, an opponent I just seem can't able to beat but I will have 2 weeks to destroy him, I hope!

Dine Out Vancouver 2012 Event

Well today marked the very first time I've attended Dine out Vancouver 2012 event with a couple of friends.

Well, I woke up to a pretty raining morning, and began to clean the house while my drama episodes were downloading.

It took about an hour and a half to finish and then I proceed to eat Brunch while watching my two dramas!

When that was done, I got dressed up and had a friend over. We played NHL 12 for a little while and we left the house for the restaurant at 5:20pm. I had to drive through the rain and the heavy traffic.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:20pm and had to wait for the rest of our group to show up. They did so 15-20 minutes later. We ordered food and talked. The food was pretty good, but was not filing at all, only because we don't get that much per dish.

Oh well, at the end, the total was $245, but we all paid separate bills. I ended up paying 31 for me and my friend, because I owe him money!

Later, he drove my car to give himself and another friend a ride home and I drove the car back after he got home.

So I had to eat something after I got home because I wasn't completely full.

College Day 41 - 43

I will keep this post very short. All I did was the same old routine. School, sports and study for my quiz, as well as doing my assigned readings. Drama had to be delayed because i had been busy!

As well I had Chinese New Year dinner yesterday!!

Sunday, January 15, 2012

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 14 Recap

Another week finally ended. Round 2 matchups against everybody in both pools have finally came to a conclusion. So that means for round 3, I will be playing everybody for one last time, except your very first opponent before the hockey pool playoff on March. Though I think it's time for my team to secure playoff spots.

In my NHL League, I played Team Rakay, a fairly weaker opponent. My team didn't produce that much, but was enough to secure a win in most of the categories. My goalies went off a slow good start and picked it up later on. I prevailed by a score of 13-2, boosting me back into the unwanted 1st place. Tomorrow, I will be playing Team Captain, by far my most respected opponent.

In my VCanucks2012 League, I played Team Dbl_Big_Mac. Who has the league's best goalies. Although that was the case, my team didn't freak out. We continue to play. Eventually we were able to outduel his goalies and his skaters. I eventually steamrolled him by a score of 16-1, bringing me back to my most desired second seed place. Now I'm 11 points back behind Jack The Ripper ( Patrick's team ), although I don't like being first, the attempt of dethroning him may seem better than my own imagination can imagine. But of course I will need at least 6 more categories than him against Team HKL. It will be tough I will say, but we will pull this through! Just hope that there are no more 8-8 ties =P

College Year 2: Day 39,40

Well, it sure sucked that I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday due to the fact that I had been pretty busy trying to catch up with my readings!

Well yesterday in History 1130, we lectured on the cause for the Americans to join the war. Also talked about the fact that the Axis power had pretty bad communication due to the fact that Germany Japan and Italy saw who their real enemy is really.

Hitler was stupid enough to drag the United States to the war after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor! Pathetic Hitler!!!

While today in Asian Studies, we first finished off the History of ancient Japan as well as some of the modern history. Later we had group discussions on Bushido and that Japanese people are willing to die for the cause of honor.

After class I bussed to Kensington to pay for the rental for tomorrow's gym for floor hockey. And later went to have PHO by myself and went back to class.

Since it's a seminar day, we only have class for 1 hour. The class were divided into 2 groups, Group A and B. I was group A so I was able to leave 1 hour after. Our discussion involved the questions that was handed out to us last week and we went over them. I didn't really say anything because I just didn't know what to say!!

After class, I went home to watch the Canucks game then had dinner. And now doing homework!! Hockey tomorrow but during Friday the 13th!

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

College Year 2: Day 38

Well, it sure had been a long and tough day. Finally it's all done. I can finally rest!!

Instead of waking up at 7:00am which I have originally planned, I woke up at 8:00am only to limit my time operation to 1 hour before leaving for school. I had macaroni with apple juice. Pretty unevenly matched. Well I don't care.

I instead got a ride from my mom to Aberdeen station before she left for work. I arrived to school by 9:50am, and I was at the library to kill some time before heading to class.

While in class today, We talked about the history of Japan including Tokugawa and how he detest Christians. As well as the goddess of Japan. Since when did Japanese worship so many gods is so beyond me! But it doesn't matter, asian people in general worship a lot.

After class, I took the bus to Kensington community centre to drop my rental application form for floor hockey this Friday. After I bussed to McDonalds to have lunch and then went back to school for my final class of the day.

In class today, we talked about the Russian Revolution, as well as the Russo-Japanese War. Russia got embarrassed big time!! They should be slapped in the face but whatever.

After class I went home to follow the Canucks game. They won 5-4 in a shootout :) Later I had dinner and now blogged. Time to sleep!

Monday, January 9, 2012

College Year 2: Day 37

Well, it's the beginning of the week!! Not really looking for it but of course we all have to get used to it! Well, I woke up so late today. I was scheduled to wake up at 9:00am because I wanted to watch my drama first and then head to school.

Well since I woke up at 10:00am, I only had 1 hour to operate. Only had a bowl of noodles and orange juice before heading to school. Arrived to school by 10:45am and killed time at the bookstore. By 12:00pm I was waiting outside of the cafe to sell my Geography textbook.

By 12:30pm I was in my class getting ready for lecture. We continued to talk about the war in Europe which led to the invasion of Britain and France and then later we shifted to the battle in Africa where the Allies eventually stopped losing. "It's the end of the beginning" famously said by President Winston Churchill. Hitler was by far the most stupidest leader ever at the time. Germany learned to not fight a war on two fronts yet Hitler had to open up a second front war when they invaded Russia, pathetic Hitler, pathetic!!

After class I went home and watched my drama and then the Canucks game. Had dinner after the bitter game. It's okay, we will win in Tampa tomorrow!!! Though I will put the blame on my sister for watching the game today!

Sunday, January 8, 2012

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 13 Recap

Finally another week is over!! Lots of drama and suspense occurred for this week. It's time to move on and hope for the best next week!!

In my NHL League, I played the worst team in the league. Everything went pretty well from start to finish. I easily won 14-2 and recording a yearly high of 45 points in total. My goalies were pretty solid. Niemi winning all 3 games he played and not giving up more than 2 goals. Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton had been consistent all week long and Alex Pietrangelo who haven't contributed that many since I drafted him. David Backes also contributed quite a lot too! Martin St.Louis and Marc Andre Fleury have been my disappointment. Not doing much at all!! But it's okay!! Starting tomorrow, I'll be playing Rakay! I will not underestimate his team but I should be able to win without much problem.

In my VCanucks2012 league, I played Whackburgers, a team who excels in scoring and racking up points. I had one heck of a fight against him. Although I couldn't beat him in points, 53-50, I still managed to beat him by a score of 9-6. I thought I was toasted when he scored shorthanded goal with Ilya Kovalchuk. Because the chance of a person winning the week is pretty darn high if they managed to get those bonus categories. His goalies were on the verge of disaster, he almost failed to reach 3 gamestarts which would automatically forfeit all the goalie categories. Tomorrow I'll be playing DBLBigMac, dead last in the league!!!

Thursday, January 5, 2012

College Year 2: Day 36

Yeah, it's Thursday already so that means last day of class and I'll have the weekend coming! So today, I woke up at 8:00am instead of 7:00am because I said to go to school on my own, so I have an extra hour to sleep!!

Had rice for breakfast and then had to go to school right away. I arrived by 10:00am and went to wait inside my Asian Studies classroom. Since my course is on the Japanese culture, you got to think my instructor is Japanese. Well, she is. All we did today was pretty much introduce the course, and had a little lecture on the Japanese Geography, Demography and the language. She also showed us maps of Japan, as well as the transportation railway. It sure looked much more complicated, as the whole page is filled up with railway.

After class, I sold a textbook and then went to the library to watch the bronze medal game, between Canada and Finland for 2 periods only while I watched the 3rd period during class time. Canada eventually won 4-0 to get the bronze medal! Well done boys!!

In my History 2234 class, all we did today was introduction which didn't take that long. Surprised that there are seminar groups for this class but whatever.

After class, I went to the bookstore to buy my last textbook before heading home to watch the gold medal game between Russia and Sweden. Most people were rooting for the Swedes, only because they hated Russia and believed the Swedes are due for a championship. Sweden dominated pretty much the whole game. Outshooting the Russians by a 3:1 margin. Eventually the game went into overtime and Sweden finally scored in overtime to beat the Russians, to capture their first championship in 31 years!! I celebrated as well, only because I don't want Russia to win another one!!

I had dinner after and alter on, began doing my readings.

Wednesday, January 4, 2012

College Year 2: Day 35

Alright, out goes the fall semester, in comes the spring semester!! Today was officially the first day of class. Due to the fact that I do not have a U-pass, I had to wake up early so my mom can give me a ride to campus to get it.

The weather made everything look pretty bad. It was raining and was pretty darn dark outside. I had spaghetti this morning with tea.

We left the house at around 7:50am, it was still pretty dark outside. Looked like 6:00pm at night.

I first went to the bookstore to get my U-pass for this month. Later, I went to the library to kill at least 2 hours before heading in to my History lecture hall.

We began the class by taking attendance and then an intro to what we will be talking about in the course. We then had a break for 10 minutes before starting our lecture. It was pretty much only a compare and contrast difference between the two great wars as well, countries learning lessons from previous wars to how they should be fought!

After class, I went home to watch my drama and then follow hockey all the way till 9:40pm where the Canucks won 3-0 against the hated Minnesota Wild, now they're first overall in the league!! I'm pretty sure this would only last for a couple of hours. I still believe the Boston Bruins will finish first overall.

Now it's time to sleep!

TVB Drama Review: Bottled Passion

So another drama that happened to be finished on the same day was Bottled Passion. I actually liked this show, although the show seemed to be back in the early 70s. But anyways, this show focused on two main characters, Niki Chow as Tsui Sum, an adopted child who is the boss of a Soya Sauce company and Raymond Wong, as Tung Bun Sin, an orphan child who is Niki's past love when they were child and he would seek revenge against the Ko family for what they've done to him in the past.

The story unfolds when the two met up at the field where Raymond told Niki that he was waiting for someone for 10 years, it was apparently her but they had no clue to who each other really was!

Well, later in the show, he would slowly take one step at a time to rip out the Ko family. First was to win the heart of the eldest daughter but with a cost. He took Niki's company and sold it to her. This would eventually allow the father to favor the daughter more than the son whose always protected by the mother.

Well, the biggest problem is that the oldest daughter already has a fiance, but she didn't really like him at all. Eventually, this added fuel between her and her mother. As a result, later on in the show, the fiance tried to commit suicide by taking tons of pills, but likely he was saved. This angered his parents as they went face to face to the Ko family's place to have a chat. The eldest daughter stated that she didn't want to be with him at all and this irated the parents of the fiance.

Her mother was obviously suspecting, and when the youngest daughter happening to have a crush on the same person ( Raymond Wong ), the mother was definitely determined to find out who he is, eventually setting up a plan to meet up with him. When the youngest daughter took it too far by pushing Niki down the hill over Raymond, she was about to get arrested, but the mother bribed the cops so she wasn't arrested, but she had to be sent away from Guangzhou but with lots of money required.

Later on, Raymond forces the oldest sister to fight with her mother, over him. Because she stated that if she decides to go with him, she will not be recognized as the daughter which was fine with her. But when she went to his mansion, she finally realized she got cheated.

Next stop was the wife of the son who had been pressured to give birth to a baby. However the baby was not his, due to the fact she previously had sex with a random person on the street. At the press conference, she told all the reporters what she had to go through. This eventually led to the dad telling everybody that the oldest son is no longer his son and that the younger son, ( Jacky Wu ) would get his family's remains and also told his wife and son to leave the house at once.

Although they left, business weren't finished yet. The mother ordered two person to get back to the company building and burn it while Jacky was inside. However he was saved by Raymond and his assistant, Eric Lee.

The next day when the mother and the son returned home to announce to everyone that the older son will get back the family's remains. However, the three returned and told everybody what happened. Soon, those two were arrested.

At last, Raymond and Niki were finally together after realizing her previous name and that she was a tramp when young. However this would be short-lived as the older daughter returns to see him and stabs him with a knife as she dies. He eventually would die on the boat.

This show also teaches you the lesson of believing in miracles, because they do happen. As what Raymond said, "Whenever I'm here, Miracles would happen." Which seems to be true, because he was able to turn things which can enlight someone or break someone's heart.

As well, revenge. Oh man, revenge is really serious. One may deal with consequences such as life risk. As well, revenge will manipulate a person to commit crimes just to return a favor to someone else. For me, revenge is all due in sports, never ever had it been personal against someone else face to face.

TVB Drama Review: When Heaven Burns

Alright, so I've finally completed the series, "When Heaven Burns." The show actually is quite complicated, with many flashbacks at a very random time. Often when they show flashbacks when the characters were young, I was pretty darn confused with the current situation but I soon got the hang of it. Well, it really depends!

So the show features 4 main characters, my all time favorite, Charmaine Sheh as Hazel/Yan, Moses Chan as Angus, Bowie Lam as Joe and Kenny Wong as Ronnie. The 4 met together when they were already young, while the guys were a group for playing Band and the female is pretty much the manager.

About 18 years ago, the three guys brought another friend ( Ka Ming ), Hazel's boyfriend for the ice mountain hiking. Unfortunately, he was eaten by the 3 others due to the fact they had no food and were dying for hunger. 18 years later, they had been keeping the truth from Hazel until Ronnie really had to step it up and tell the truth to the police because he kept envisioning it during his sleep and many other factors.

This led to Hazel in deep anger against those three, but soon later by the end of the show, they all became friends again when they got together and performed on the biggest stage known as the Rockfest show.

This show also gives lesson about life. Such as getting over something and letting yourself free from all those things that may lay upon a negative impacts against you. As well, learn to forgive others for what they've done that might have hurt you. Maybe I can learn something from it.

Hockey Pool Year 4: Week 12 Recap

It's about time, this unfriendly week has come to an end. It sure suck to have a bad week to end 2011 but on the good side, maybe its a sign of better things to come in the future?

In my NHL League, I played Justin. After leading for almost the whole week, I fell apart in the last 2 days. I blame the schedule this week for NHL games. Too little Sharks games and too many Canucks games! I picked up Mike green and Cam Ward to boost the power of my superior A team. Mike Green however won't be playing until the upcoming week. I fell by a score of 9-4, only because around a 1/3 of my whole team didn't play enough this week!!

In my VCanucks2012 League, I played Infineon Novellus. Yeah I know I shouldn't lose to him, but without my sharks playing enough, my team can't win at all!! I lost by a score of 10-6. I won't complain!!

New Years Eve 2011 Party

It had been a brilliant day yesterday for New Years Eve. Although I had to wake up a bit earlier because I had to drive my mom to Parker Place to buy stuff while we ate there and then drove her to a friend's house for Mahjong.

I drove home with my sister afterwards and went to start packing. A friend came later and we played couple of games of NHL 12 before heading to crowded Vancouver at 4. Although we went to Ikea first but didn't buy anything because the Sparkling Champagne was expensive there.

Of course it was no different when it comes to Champlain Mall. It was rather crowded there and I had to park my car beside two fat ass cars. It limits room so much and I always had to worry about touching one of the 2 cars. So when we finally left Champlain, I drove my sister to her friend's place first and then I went to pick up another friend of mines and we went to Killarney Market to buy Salad, Meats and Lasagna. We also went to buy sushi. Two party tray combos but the owner was kind enough to give us free pop and an extra box of California Roll.

At last, we went to a friend's place at 6 and some people are there already. We watched a little bit of the Canada-USA World Juniors game before switching to Leafs-Jets game and went to watch the Sabres-Senators game after that. By then we began eating and pretty much the sushi were all done.

The Canucks game was just a natural disaster. After the first period goal. They surrendered 4 straight goals to the dirty cheap shot Kings to lose 4-1. Yes I was pretty upset, didn't like how the game turned out one bit. I even tweeted, putting up "offensive" tweets according to a friend about some of the Kings players.

By then, another friend came and after the game, we all went to play Super Smash Bros. Melee. It was pretty fun and epic. I got two round of applause from the audience for winning. And later, more people played and it was a lots of fun. Some didn't play, because they wanted to play Wii golf. So we shared time. We played till 11:00pm and let those guys play Wii Golf.

I'm not really a fan of golf myself, but I'm sure I could beat everybody on Wii Bowling!!! At 11:45pm, we turned on back to TV to ABC. Where the celebration in for the countdown. We all roared in cheer when the clock struck 12:00am as I updated my facebook status and twitters tweet.

We then watched music performance, including Party Rock. Great times!! Later, people were slowly leaving but most of my crew were still here and we played Brawl and Melee for a little longer until it was 2:00am then we all left.

I drove a friend home and went home to shower and sleep.

Is 2012 the year for greatness to come? Or is it still the same old disappointing years of the past? I guess we will have to find out.

Best of luck to all of you and a Happy New Year!
