According to a friend, hard work does not equal to success. I at first thought he was crazy, because I always think hard work will get you to the promising land at the end. Guess I proved myself wrong today. And, another thing that I should have learned by now is that I need to stop getting too excited before an event! It's really bound to make you disappointed in the end! Happened twice already, which cost everything! And here is why.
Well, I've been really excited about buying a Roberto Luongo Team Canada T-shirt about a week ago. Always thought about it. Until the day finally came today! I got school and immediately went to Richmond Centre in hopes to get my T-shirt. I came across Jersey City which only has one left. However, I wanted to go to Sports Chek and compare the prices if they have it. Unfortunately, they didn't. I went back to Jersey City, only to find that the T-shirt was gone. ( Major turning point there ). I traveled to Lansdowne and Metro only to fail again and wasted five hours of effort. What a fucking joke.
I went home all down and pissed off. But soon got over it. Now, time to get back to work in two weeks! Looking forward to celebrate Canada Day tomorrow! Best Country in the world, along with the world's most gorgeous city, known as "Vancouver!!" Best country + city, it doesn't get any better!

College Slacking Day 128
So I guess now I've turned lazy since I've finished my Latin America Essay. But slowly, there are work still left to be done! Such as my geography stuff!! Anyways, the stuff isn't due until next Monday and it won't take as long! But first, I'll enjoy the upcoming events, such as Canada Day!!
Before I can start talking about that, Geography is suppose to be first. We continued on with Quebec and managed to finish at the end of class. I don't know why, I get pissed off learning about Quebec. Really, the things that goes on with Quebec is really annoying. Since Quebec always asked for it's isolation, Canada should just ditch them and leave them the fuck alone!
Our country's primary language is English, not fucking French. In fact, Quebec is the second city in the world that speaks most French. Like seriously, Quebec might as well be part of France then. Canada isn't the right place for Quebec! Oh, and we also watched this video on youtube. With a French guy singing and then he accidentally said Fuck, and everybody started making a whole big deal out of it. Even with the word, "Tits." Good stuff! Anyways, time to fish for my Team Canada Gears tomorrow after school!!

College Work & Rest Day 126, 127
The past four days had really kept me occupied with course registration planning and my Latin America Research Essay. No play, besides hockey and work all day! To be honest, I really hate it but what can I do? This assignment is worth 26% which is quite a bit of marks!!
I didn't sleep until 2:00am this morning because I had to finish the essay. Well, thanks to a friend, for helping me point out mistakes for me to correct. Highly appreciated it.
This morning, I had to get up early for school. It was a bit challenging, because I didn't sleep well during midnight. I only ate a light breakfast and went to school!
For class today, we lectured on the revolution in Latin America and watched a film which took the whole class. Now that the essay has been completed, it's time to relax for a bit. Next thing to finish will be the assignment for Geography on research, due next Monday. For now, time to take things a bit easier!

Hockey Week 35
When things don't work out the way you wanted it to be, how frustrating can this get? Clearly that was what I had to go through today, right when I finished breakfast and watching my daily drama.
My fall semester 2011 course registration started at 2:00pm today, which wasn't a problem, but the thing is that I had to plan out what courses I need to take. Now that's a problem. Due to the fact that the schedules were really clogged up together, it's very difficult for me to get things worked out, without having time conflicts. I spend a total of 4 hours trying to figure out things and finally gave up, but ending up taking two classes, History 1115 and Arts History 1114.
So I went straight to hockey, because there's no point for me to head to a friend's house when I'm going to be late. It's the last day for us, and this game is nothing like the other games. Yes I know we lost, but it was fun. Especially how I played defense. Haha, pissed someone off but whatever, last day.
After hockey, I got a ride home from a few friends, as they came to play NHL until 1:00am before leaving. Was dead tired after so I showered and slept. Tomorrow, time to get working! And working!!

College Working Day 125
Most people claims that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, I do not agree to it at all, because breakfast foods are often light casual meals. Like eggs, sausage, cereal etc. Like seriously, how can you get full by just eating these things. Yes, their healthy, I actually want a meal where I can get full.
This is what I did this morning, I didn't eat breakfast and just went to school and arrived early. Actually went to the library for the first time in 2 months and waited for my Geography instructor to reply my email. It's a good thing that the quizzes whom I poorly done yesterday only counted as participation marks. I could breath a sigh of relief.
Well for the rest of the day, I was just working on my research paper, but seems like tomorrow I won't be working on it for long, so Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be an all out effort! No exception!!! Even if I work to death, I'm still working!!!

College Moving Day 124
When you learn about Louis Riel in college, you think back to Grade 10 Social Studies, if you've attended high school here. I certainly have and I have to tell you that grade 10 Social Studies was the most boring thing that you'll ever study. Maybe those that are really interested in Canada and it's history will smack me for saying that, but I'm just saying it out of my heart, no jokes!!
Oh and did I ever forget my allergies. The season has just begun and all I want now is for it to end as soon as possible!! It's absolutely crap when you have your eyes itchy and your nose itchy and you're so tempted to rub it, but realized that it'll only add insult to injury. Being near a sink is good for me at this time so I can wash my eyes whenever I feel like it it's mandatory.
One last thing, I can never forget this, the National Hockey League Award. Began watching it right when I got home, but sadly I missed the James Norris Trophy presentation, congratulation Nicklas Lidstrom for winning once again. The guy is a true leader even for his age.
Daniel winning Art Ross is no question considering that he had the most point this year. As for the Ted Lindsay award, I didn't even know he was nominated but that's always a good thing when you something good happens when you least expect it.
Oh how can I forget about Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider for winning the William. Jennings Award well deserved.
Mike Gillis winning the GM of the year award is clearly expected and well deserved. Looking forward to the brighter days next season! And last but not least, Ryan Kesler for winning the Frank. Selke Trophy. Clearly, no one deserves it more than you. Not to mention, hey Toews, you mad bro?? A player on the team that you thought you didn't "expose them for who they are" outplayed you here. Take a hike buddy, fuck the Hawks.
So tomorrow once I get home, it'll be essay time. Seriously, motivation here!!

College Struggling Day 123
Clearly, I tried to stay focused and motivated, but somehow it just didn't work today. Time is being wasted and I feel like as if I'm a total useless piece of shit, that couldn't get anything done.
For my LAMS 1100 class, our lecture was shortened up and it became a discussion class, as we talked about poverty in Latin America and all that stuff. And yes, my research essay is going to be on the cause of poverty, however somehow it's been really hard for me to find sources and what not. In fact, it seems like as if I'm making everything seem so difficult when in fact it shouldn't be. Perhaps the effect of the Canucks' game 7 loss still haven't gotten away yet?? Clearly, I've been way more interested in the updates of the riots that took place 6 days ago.
It's really hard to imagine how people can put graffiti on the Plywood at The Bay downtown. The great citizens of Vancouver worked hard to keep the positive image of Vancouver and now we have these heartless morons wrecking the love message that the amazing people in Vancouver put on? By any means, I hope those people get hit by a car.
As for me, I have to worry now of constructing a minimum of 7 page cohesive essay ready to be hand in next Tuesday. I guess a short vacation will be rewarded after next Tuesday! Perhaps I could use that to motivate myself? Or use my will, which has not been working for the past 4 days. What should I do?? XDD

College Rising Day 122
A brand new week just started today. You know it feels good to be in class after you skipped class for nothing and came home disappointed and feeling all depressed. Clearly it wasn't the case today. But even if anything occurs, I won't be skipping class ever again without a legit reason!!! Learn your lesson from the past!
Geo 1120 was a history lesson, as we discussed about the Quebec and it's history. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Quebec, because in my opinion Quebec is really a nuisance province, as the people there in my opinion always try to let everyone know how great they are. If there's a vote that ask if Quebec should be part of Canada, I would likely to vote no. Even though my favorite Canucks player is from Quebec, oh well! That's too bad!!
Though at the end of the class we did get our midterms back. My prediction was totally off. 14/25 has became 8.5/25. What a fucking disgrace. So does this mean, whenever the Canucks fall, I fall with them? But sorry, I don't want to fall like my beloved team!! But of course, there are many opportunities to rise again, and those opportunities have to be capitalized!! Like capitalizing on your powerplay when given the chance, because there might not be a third chance!
The rest of the day was as normal as the other day. Hell Days are over now!! Time for the good days to start!!! Your will to succeed is your greatest motivation!! I'll mark my word!

Hockey Week 34
The second last week for hockey has just unfolded today. This morning, I woke up at 9:00am and went to do house chores before watching drama and having breakfast in my room. Later, I was preparing for my playland interview and when my mom came back we left the house. I was wearing a suit and a suit pants.
I left the house at 1:00pm and arrived at Playland at 2:30pm. The interview was pretty darn fast. I only had to answer a few questions and then filled out a sheet and that was it. I walked around the park to check out the stuff there while waiting for a friend who finishes work at 4:00pm.
We went to McDonalds after he got off at work and went to his place to chill before hockey. Had to change to my T-Shirts and stuff. At 5:50pm we left for hockey. We all thought it was the last day today of the year, but apparently it wasn't. Anyways, it was fun but we lost the game.
After the game, I went home and had dinner before a few friends come over to play NHL 11 until 12:30am. Later, I went to shower and then blogged! Sorry I have not blogged for the past 3 days. I will not to make up for it!!

College Hell Day 121
Speechless, absolutely speechless. A decision to overcome a dilemma last night didn't pay off, basically my decision had been a total waste and it was nothing!! Sorry for the title, it's somewhat misleading to what actually happened.
So I woke up this morning at 8:25am, because I can't sleep anymore. It's Monday today I know, but it seems like a Friday, or maybe it's just game day! Last Monday, I couldn't keep sleeping until 9:00am because it was game day. Anyways, packed my stuff and then went to eat before watching a new drama.
Later on, I went to spend some time reading the forums on the Vancouver Canucks website until 11:30am before going to a friend's place to drop the stuff off and then we took the 49th bus and Canada-Line to Waterfront station, to meet up with another friend whom we will be going early to a bar to watch the game! We chose the nearest one, right inside Waterfront station. Sadly, we sat from 1:30pm until the game started, which was at 5. Soon, a few other friends joined us.
Yes, the game once again sucked! I was really hoping Vancouver to win it in 6, but a disaster first period, forced a 7th game between Vancouver and Boston! Which will take place on Wednesday!! I skipped class today just to come to the bar early, and it wasn't worth it in the end. Now I don't know what to do for Wednesday. Help me out here please!! :(

College Hell Day 120
Three day weekend coming up for me as Thursday soon end! But really, will I be able to enjoy my weekends? Or will I be spending time over-thinking and worrying about stuff! Certainly it's really painful having to go through all that, but it's not possible to avoid it, unless greatness happens!
After waking up at 8:00am today, I eagerly got dressed and ate a slight meal before heading to school. Well, I wasn't really in a hurry, as soon as my dad offered me a ride there. Well, pretty much all he did was dropped me off at Aberdeen Canada-Line station and I took the Canada-Line and walked to school!
Arrived at 9:40am and just spend the time in the computer lab before heading into class at 10:15am. In our Latin American Studies lecture today, we had a discussion to why owning a land is so important and had debates about it. In the second half of the class, we watched a film until the end of class.
As soon as class ended, I went home, ate lunch and watched drama! Second last episode today! After drama, I began to photoshop my wallpaper which for some reason took like 3 hours to finish. I guess I wasn't really concentrating but it turned out quite nicely.
At 7:30pm, we had a quick dinner, in which everyone finished so quickly. I thought I was always the first person to finish dinner but now we all finished at the same time!!
After dinner, I just relaxed, while talking to some people over MSN. Took a shower later and began blogging!! I wonder what's going on tomorrow =P

College Hell Day 119
I don't really know what to say. Sorry, this is really painful for me to bear! I mean, one event can easily determine my day and nothing else really matters much but they could make it sweeter.
I woke up at 9:00am today and went to the computer to download my drama before going downstairs to get breakfast. Ate macaroni and that's about it. After I finished, I went to watch my drama. After I was done, I immediately set course for school!! Left the house at 10:45am and arrived at school at 11:30am.
Immediately, I went to the computer lab and continued to cram for my Geography 1120 midterm exam. By 12:50pm I was in the lecture hall reviewing my notes before my exam at 1:30pm. There were two version of the exam and we get to pick one to complete. It was somewhat hard but I don't know. I think I'll still pass?? Prediction: 14/25.
After the exam, I went home and prepared for my viewing party for game 4. I had 9 friends over today but too bad we lost again! Very sad day today! Series all tied up!! Sorry, this is really making me worried. That's true that Vancouver is horrible at Boston, but doesn't mean they can't win. All these two losses, Vancouver didn't even have a chance! Game 5 on Friday, I really do not want to see our team's Stanley Cup dreams become a nightmare. It'll come back to hunt!! Really, it's not something that you want to look into, or remember!!

College Hell Day 118
This post will be relatively short, because I really need to sleep soon! Anyways, I'll make this quick.
After waking up at 8:10am, boy was I ever late, I immediately got changed and nearly tripped when I ran down the stairs. Seriously, I hate having to go through tons of stairs!! It's just really annoying!! Anyways, I had spaghetti for breakfast. Had rush through it too and then I left for school at 9:00am and arrived at 9:45am.
In class today, we talked about the Independence in Latin America, during the 1800s and early part of the 1900s. We also went through the criteria for our research essay, which will be due on June 28th. Just less than a month to go!
After class, I went home and downloaded and watched my drama until 2:23pm before studying all day for my Geography 1120 exam. Sorry, that was what I did!! Study study study!! Time to sleep!!
Nights all!!

College Hell Day 117
Hey, today is a really gorgeous day outside. Yes, you have to admit that it was a really nice day especially that it was a warm sunny Monday! But does this mean that everything that's going to happen will be as nice as the sky? Not really! In fact, it was terrible!
I woke up at 8:00am today, because my sister needed me to fix the printer, but then I couldn't do so. I then went back to sleep for 15 more minutes before waking up and eating breakfast!! Later, I downloaded my drama and began watching it. As soon as I was done, I began to pack my stuff for downtown and school.
I left the house at 12:00pm and arrived at school at 12:45pm. I met up with a friend outside and we hanged out at the computer lab, until 1:15pm, before I go to my Geography 1120 lecture hall. Our class today, only spend one hour on lecture, and we had a lecture on the population of Canada, which also included the baby boom! For the next hour, we had a review session, because we'll be having a midterm on Wednesday!
After class, I took the Canada-Line to Vancouver City-Hall station with a friend and then took the Expo-Line to Rogers Arena, to watch the Canucks-Bruins game 3 Stanley Cup Final game. There, we saw thousands of other Vancouver Canucks fanatic and we also met up with two of our other friends. At 4:05pm, we went inside Rogers Arena! We first went to get our seats and then a friend and I spend around 40 minutes walking around and taking pictures!! At 4:50pm, we went back to our seats and we were waiting for the game to start, while a band plays. I also recorded some footage of it!
Well, I don't really want to discuss about the game, because it was terrible. However, I also had fun cheering along with other fans and be involved in the towel power. Sadly, the team couldn't bring a smile to the face of the fans! While during the intermission, there was a hockey game between two little kids' team. It was really entertaining, perhaps more entertaining than the Canucks game itself!!
Anyways, we left Rogers Arena after the game is over, and I took the Expo-Line to Waterfront station and then took the Canada-Line to Aberdeen station and the bus back home!!
It will be a very tough night to bear! How will I ever survive =P

Hockey Week 33
Oh well, it's a sunny Friday today where all the good things happen. But really, is it? Anyways, I woke up at 9:30am, knowing that I couldn't sleep much longer! I turned on the computer and left to do house chores. After 45 minutes of vacuuming and mopping the floor, I went to eat. A unique breakfast meal, of instant noodles with ham and eggs.
Anyways, after I went to watch my daily drama, one hour before hockey tickets were on sale. After the drama, I killed some time before a friend of mine came over to purchase tickets. We ended up purchasing 4 tickets on the upper-bowl seats for Monday's game! After, we played some NHL 11 before my mom coming home and took us out to eat! The nearby cafe was full so we went to McDonalds.
After lunch, she dropped us back home as she went to take care of her plans, we played NHL 11 for some more before heading to downtown for the Vancouver Canucks' Playoff Team Store, which my friend brought a Daniel Sedin T-Shirt. We then took the expo-line skytrain and the 22 bus back to Victoria Drive, as we went to Value Village because he wanted to look for shorts! He couldn't find any.
We walked back to his house, and played a little bit of NHL 11 before we drove to my house, because apparently I might have forgotten to lock the door, but gladly I did. We then went back to his house later and continued our game before 5:40pm as we waited outside for another friend to join us.
On our way to hockey, we stopped by a beer store, as my other friend went to purchase some beers for tomorrow's game! After, we were inside the community centre playing hockey. Hockey today, wasn't the brightest in terms of the score, but I went out there to have some fun and scored my first ever hat-trick! Props to my teammates for sacrificing the game and their scoring chances to give me my first ever 3 goal performance. We still lost the game by a score of 24-17.
After hockey, a couple of my friends came over to my place to play some NHL 11. They left at 11:10pm and I went to shower and now blogging!
Recognition: Allen Tungster, thanks for paying for the tickets and easing my worries regarding my door! Alvin Captain Ma, thanks for the sacrifice of the game and your scoring chances for me to get my first ever hat-trick!

College Hell Day 116
On a gloomy and rainy Thursday morning, I woke up at 7:00am because I wanted to get to school early to study for my midterm which was at 10;30am today. I left the house at 8:00am and arrived at 8:30am only because I got a ride from my mom!
So I was studying in the computer lab for a while, until there was a class and then I left. At 10:00am, I was reviewing by my classroom and went in at 10:15am. Our midterm began right on 10:30am. The midterm wasn't really that hard but I felt if I actually studied a bit more, I'd probably would be able to write more, especially on the written portion. Prediction: 30/44
After the midterm, our second instructor briefly introduced herself and her background stuff. When all was done, I left school and went home! I watched my daily drama as every weekday! After, I spend at least 3 hours reading, which almost destroyed my lungs.
After reading, I was surfing the internet and later went downstairs to play some NHL 11 on my own and had dinner as well! After dinner, I continued to play NHL 11 before stopping at 10:00pm which I took a shower and now making my blog post!

College Hell Day 115
Well, I couldn't make a blog post yesterday because I had to prepare for a midterm exam right after the game but I'll make up for it right now.
Yesterday morning, I woke up slightly earlier, at 8:55am. Why? well because it was game day and I felt like waking up such a bit earlier! Well, after eating I went to watch my daily drama just before school. I left the house with my Vancouver Canucks Roberto Luongo jersey.
I arrived to school at 12:45pm and wasted time at the computer lab before going to class at 1:20pm. In Geo 1120 yesterday, we lectured on the "First People" and then proceeded to watch a video about Mexican Immigrants coming to Canada to work, and we witnessed how badly the Mexicans were treated by their boss.
Anyways, after school, I went home. On the way home, I saw many Vancouver Canucks faithful on the skytrain. I was pretty sure most people were taking the skytrain to downtown to cheer on the boys!!
As I was walking home, I saw a friend walking as well and walked with him back to my place. We played some NHL 11 before watching the game! Vancouver won the game by a score of 1-0. After the game, they left and I spend the rest of the night studying!
