After the clock struck 12:00am this morning, time to say good bye Christmas Day and hello Boxing Day. Today I didn't wake up until 11:00am. Oh well it didn't really matter much anyways. I went on the computer to check on the score between New England and Buffalo. By then, the Patriots were leading 17-3. I then went to do the laundry before watching some more of the games. Boy, the Buffalo Bills had way too many turnovers today, they had 7. I remember when Jim Mora ranted about the Colts poor performance with 5 turnovers, he should be glad that the Bills had 7 today ha ha!
New England will win by a score of 34-3. After the game, I grabbed my laptop down, grabbed a bowl of Rice Congee to eat, while watching the World Juniors game. Canada vs Russia already in Buffalo New York. The place seemed to be like a home game for Canada with many Canadian supporters there. Russia did strike first on the one timer. Though Canada answered back on the powerplay to even the score. As what we Canadians viewed, Russia's mediocre defense really killed them today. They couldn't get out of their own zone, while Canada kept pouring it on but the score remained 1-1 after the first period.
In the second period, Canada took the lead when the puck bounced off the Russian netminder's skate and in. Though the lead was short lived, Canada had a bad change and the Russians were able to sneak one by past Oliver Roy for a 2-2 tie. Canada in about 4 minutes later took the lead once again off a slapshot from the point to lead 3-2. But when the Russians were given a powerplay, a mad scramble in front of the Canadian net resulted in a goal which tied the game at 3, heading to the 3rd.
The 3rd period was all Canada. When a powerplay was given to the Canadians because of a tripping call, Canada scored again to make it 4-3 off a partial scramble in front of the net. Another powerplay was given to Canada not long after. This time Canada scores once again to make it 5-3. Before the game ended, Canada scores right off the faceoff to lead and win 6-3.
After the game, I went to play some NHL 11 before the Canucks game at 6. Though I didn't watch the first period because I was following other NHL scores for my hockey pool. It didn't go so well for me today. Only got 3 points for both of my pools while my opponent made a good late run, but wasn't enough to beat me. I prevailed 8-5 and 10-5 for both of my pool. Second time this year in which I won both matchup for the week. Though I cannot afford to buy a goal which sucks because my opponents gets so many goals every time while I keep getting pointless assist.
When the second period started, I started watching the game. Vancouver had so many good opportunities to score, but nobody could convert on it. Soon Edmonton struck first off a rebound by Cory Schneider. I wasn't too pleased about it. The Oilers struck again on a 2 on 1 by Ryan Whitney which pissed the hell out of me. Though Jeff Tambelini was able to answer back to to pull within a goal heading to the 3rd.
In the 3rd period, Vancouver dominated most part of the game. Mikael Samuelsson took a beautiful perfect pass from Raffes Torres to tie the game 2-2. Vancouver kept coming with attacks and attacks but was held off. Though Edmonton did have one great scoring chance, but nobody was able to take advantage of it. Late in the game, Tambelini tipped in a shot from the point which apparently should have given Vancouver a 3-2 lead, but the goal was called off because of a high-stick. I was pretty darn happy when the puck went in, but was absolutely disgusted to have the goal waived off. Some guy from the crowd threw some stuff on the ice in which as a Canucks fan, I was disgusted to see. With one minute left, the Sedins pressed in the Oilers zone until Kevin Bieksa scored from the point with 24 seconds left to give the Canucks a 3-2 lead I was going wild after the goal. That proved to be the game winner.
After the game, I went back to my computer and started talking to friends before showering. Tomorrow is a start of a brand new week, also the countdown of days begins, for new years!
Recognition: Hey Alvin, hope you had fun at the game today! You brought us a win! Yay!! And thanks for beating the guy I beat last week, by a score of 11-1. Keep it up, until you play me!!

Merry Christmas Party Day
At last, the time has arrived. It's officially December 25th, that means it's MERRY CHRISTMAS! Though for once in my life time, I'm actually going to talk about my activities for all 24 hours of the 25th of December.
Though, yesterday night at 8:20pm, I went to a friend's place to play NHL. I had a hard time finding his house all day long. It took me about 25 minutes later to find it. We were excited to play our custom rosters of our hockey pool team. As the finder of the idea, I was glad people actually enjoyed it and purged to execute the plan.
I lost the first game 3-1, but that was worth it since I really need some warm ups. Then I won my second game 3-2 in a shootout. A friend wanted to play me again with his rosters, because he was playing with someone else's team against me. However, another friend didn't want to so there was a temporary arguement, but at last he gave in, props to him. I end up winning 5-1 that game.
Later, we played Battle For The Cup Mode. We were using Nashville while our opponent used Vancouver. We ended up winning the cup in 4 games. Later on, we played some regular matches 2 on 2. Soon parents started phoning us, and we had to go home. By then that was around 2:00am in the morning. Merry Christmas!
I got a ride home from a friend, and got home around 2:25am. When I got home, I showered first and then went to sleep.
I woke up at 10:30am this morning, and I was suppose to vacuum the house and clean everything else. I didn't start until 12:00pm. Since my mom didn't cook breakfast, I cooked for myself afte I was done. Since we're having a party today, my mom's friends came around 2:15pm. I helped set up the stuff. Later on, the adults were playing MahJong while I was talking to a friend. I didn't know the Lakers-Heats game started at 2.
I went downstairs along with my laptop to watch the game. I hated the lakers so when the Heats beat them I was pretty delighted. The Heats won by a score of 96-80. After the game, I was playing NHL 11 by myself. When a friend of mines came over, we were watching NBA Basketball on stream. During half time, we played NHL 11 and had fun doing so. Soon, dinner was ready. I ate a lot of chow mein, sushi and meat. I was eating at the same time, watching sportscentre. Couple highlights including Top 10 misplays of the week, and top 10 plays of last year. They also showed all of Canada's gold medal moments during the winter olympics.
After dinner, we continued on our NHL 11 game. I went easy on a friend, but still managed to beat him. Soon when we finished playing NHL 11, my stomach started to turn on against me. I had a stomach ache and it sucked.
In a bit later, I came down and transformer 1 was on, on CTV. I didn't watch the first movie, but the second one, so it was good! At the same time I was talking to friends.
Tomorrow is Boxing Day and hockey resumes. It's going to be a very busy day of sports for me. Canucks, Team Canada World Juniors, New England Patriots and the Suns are all playing. Good luck to them!!
Recognition: Thanks Alvin, for keeping me entertained on MSN!! Now hopefull you'll beat Hanson by tomorrow. And have fun at Rogers Arena tomorrow. Bring us that victory!

Hockey Pool Week 10 Recap
Well, another week ended of the hockey pool. I don't know if this is good or not, but okay let's start with my first pool. I struggled with my goalie status in the first few days. Steve Mason got pulled twice in both of his starts and Cam Ward got pulled once. However, their team still managed to pull off a victory which doesn't affect my Wins and Loss. My skaters were ok this week. I ended up scoring 32 points this week for this pool. Good to see Phil Kessel and Patrik Elias back on track. My goalies coming from a huge slump into a decent record, as I took down 4/5 categories from my opponent in a 9-3 victory. Just my second victory of the season so far.
Now in my other pool, my opponent somehow found a way to be hot again. But oh well, I'm not surprised. In fact all my opponents can easily find ways to be hot without doing anything at all. I fell 8-6 in a very tight matchup. Oh well, that's what happens when your opponent are always hot while you couldn't find a way to dump cold water on him. Anyways, starting tomorrow, I'll be playing my rival for the week if the Hawks can run cold, I will have a chance to win! Already lost 3 in a row. Let's see what happens!
Recognition: To the commissioner of my first hockey pool, good job for winning 9-2. Please continue to win! Give me a chance to get another shot in beating you! Also, to the guy who I traded Fleury away to, you might have ripped me off big time, but I beat you this week, how does that feel? Thomas > Fleury.

A Night Spend At A Pub Watching The Greatest Game On Earth
The week where majority of the exams are completed. Though, there are still exams and class going on. This morning, I woke up at like, around 10:30am since I slept almost at 2 during midnight. I had breakfast and then went to do the laundry.
Nothing really much happened, besides me relaxing. I was talking to a friend on how we're going to meet up to go to the pub with few other friends to have dinner and watch the Canucks game. We decided to meet at Langara 49th. I spend until 2:40pm getting ready before heading out.
I got a ride from my dad to the bus stop which is pretty close. I waited for around 10 minutes for the 410 bus to arrive. I got to the skytrain station and board on the skytrain to langara 49th. Apparently, he was there before the train arrived, so he decided to get on as well, and we got off at Broadway City Hall. It was raining outside and we spend a while trying to remember the address of the pub. We took the 99 b-line to MacDonald street and then we walked to the pub. It took us about 15 minutes to arrive.
Two of our friends were there already. We then ordered some sort of fries dish with cheese, some onion shrimp? And pizza! Before the game started.
The Canucks play the leafs today, and it was alright. In the first period, not much really happened but Alexander Burrows scored on a favorable bounce for a 1-0 lead. The Vancouver Canucks were also able to kill off a 5 on 3 powerplay, which is a momentum shift. The greemen was putting on a show today. First list was a sign with the title, "Draft Pick For Sale" when Versteeg was in the box and "Santa's Naughty List" when Komisarek was in the box. Good stuff! Speaking of Versteeg's penalty, it was funny watching the referee giving him a gesture of the slashing penalty.
In the second period, not much happened again, but Vancouver scored their second goal off a 3 on 2 rush, with Kesler dishing the puck to Jannick Hansen for an easy tap in and Vancouver leads 2-0.
In the first period, Vancouver missed a powerplay opportunity to put the leafs away and the Leafs scored with just 13 minutes left. It was just a bad goal by Luongo, because he could of easily caught that puck, but oh well. With just under 5 minutes to go, Ehrhoff scored on what it looked like a tip from Kesler and it was 3-1 Vancouver. I along with my friends and other fans in the pub cheered as the puck went in. Vancouver would seal it on an empty net goal by Henrik Sedin to win 4-1.
During the game I ordered beer, and finished it when the game ended. We also ordered the "Tuna Bite" along with the BBQ Chicken Pizza. After we ate, we left and walked to a bus stop to catch the 9 bus to Cambie. We then walked to the skytrain station to take the Canada-Line. My friends got off at Langara 49th and I got off at Aberdeen. I then took the bus home and didn't eat anything after.
It was a nice experience inside a pub watching the Canucks win a hockey game! Hopefully more to come in the future! Good luck to my hockey pool tomorrow! Let's go!

Hockey Week 15
Apparently the last day for the 2010 year of Kensington hockey was today. That means no hockey for another two weeks, until the winter break is over. This morning, I woke up at 9:30am, but was still pretty tired. Which sucks, because the sun was dead bright! I got dressed and vacuumed the house until my dad came home and we went to our relative's house.
My dad and my aunt talked for about 45 minutes before leaving to go to Dim Sum. We went to the same place we usually go to. I ordered the same food that I usually eat there. It cost about $22.34 for 4 dishes of Dim Sum. After we ate, my dad drove me to a friend's house. We chilled there by playing NHL 11 including Battle For The Cup Mode. I was the Windsor Spitfires and he was the Hershey Bears. I ended up winning the Stanley Cup in 3 games since we're only playing to a best of 3. By then, the Captain came and we played some shootouts before leaving to play hockey.
At hockey, I was forced to use a friend's stick because I promised a friend I'll lend him my stick if he shows up. He did show up so I lend him my stick. We sorted the teams out and ended up losing. I played pretty bad, because the stick was too long for me, and my shoe was causing all sorts of discomforts.
After hockey, a couple of friends and I stayed behind to help set up for the breakfast with santa event. It took about an hour and a half to finish. They left while I waited for my mom to pick me up.
When I got home, my friends came 20 minutes later to play NHL 11. It was fun. We played Battle For The Cup Mode again, we were using Anaheim vs Los Angeles. We won first game by a score of 4-3 in overtime. Second game, we lost 7-6 and third game we won a score of 8-2 and we won the cup in game 4 by a score of 7-5. We played more NHL games before they left my house.
Tomorrow I'll be watching the Canucks-Leafs game at a restaurant! Go Canucks!! Bring us that victory!!

Wedding Exam Day!
Well, today was officially the first day I had my exam. It was actually my Chinese final! That's okay, this morning I woke up at 7:30am for no apparent reason but I guess it's a good habit. I did nothing but study.
Anyways, I left the house at 9:30am since I got a ride from my mom. I arrived to campus by 10:00am and just sat down on a bench to study before the exam. The exam was scheduled at 11:00am. I was waiting by the gym while reviewing some of the words with a classmate. We get to go in ten minutes before the exam.
The exam consisted of 5 parts. 1) Write characters according to the pinyin. 2) Write pinyin according to the characters. 3) Pinyin dictation. 4) Correct sentence mistakes. 5) Translate from English to Chinese. I was able to get 93% of the exam done in the first hour. Though I had to double check the answers again and actually had to correct some. The hardest part was the pinyin dictation, because I couldn't hear the teacher properly, despite her repeating the stuff from six directions. It was out of 70 in total. Prediction: 60/70. Only because I don't trust myself.
After the exam, I went home, to prepare for my History 1115 exam. I showered at 4:30pm since we'll be attending a wedding. I wore a blazer and a suit and pants as we got dressed. We then left the house at 6:00pm. The ceremony didn't start until 7:00pm. It was my mom's friend's son that's getting married. We first spend around 45 minutes listening to the story on how the two couples got together along with a few words from both side's parents. After that, we had dinner. The food came one plate at a time. I started having a stomach ache in the middle of it. Which sucks! Anyways, I felt better later on.
Dinner continued to be served while they played some sort of game. In which first, was answering questions. The questions seem easy but it's very difficult. After that, we continued eating and people started leaving. We then left at 10:15pm and got home by 10:40pm. Time to study for the History 1115 exam!!
Recognition: Thank You my good buddy Allen for updating me and giving me depressing hockey pool results :D And Alvin, hope everything was okay when you picked up your cheque today.

Hockey Pool Week 9 Results
Oh my god! He does it again!!! Way to go to kill me once again! I must say you sure know how to execute your plans to perfection eh? I admit, it was totally perfect, the way you push me off the cliff. Way to go of picking on a dedicated person who values win in the world of sports more than anything else in that field.
So what are you planning to do next week? Completely destroy my team so that no of my players can play? I'm innocent and yet you can't play fair! Or, are you just a fan of whoever I play against that week? Seriously, interference is absolutely a dick move.
In one day, you're able to turn from a 7-2 lead to an 8-5 lead for my opponent, and a 9-3 lead to a 10-5 lead for my opponent. You've got some capability there I must admit. I dare you, after Monday to completely destroy my defenseless team!! Since you love to kill me so much, I dare you! Don't help me okay? Please make my opponent sweep me in every single category. You know you want to. Telling you now, I don't want to win anymore. Might as well, give freebies to all my opponents right? I'll be waiting.

Number 19! The World Of L-E-G-A-L!
25 hours ago, my age just hit 19! So what does that mean? It's my fucking birthday! Yep! Though I slept at 1:00am this morning and still managed to wake up at 9:30am. I went on the computer just to see the swarm of Happy Birthday wishes from my facebook friends. I pretty much spend another hour listening to music before having breakfast.
After breakfast, I went back on the computer to relax while talking to some friends. By 1:20pm, I got dressed up, wore my Luongo Canucks jersey and then left the house with my hockey stick. I knew I should of taken the 410 bus to the skytrain station and then take the 49 bus to Knight because the 430 bus took forever to arrive. I left at knight and walked to his place in which I arrived at 2:17pm. I was pretty much playing NHL 11 for most part of the time until the last 2 hours, I was watching him playing COD : Black Ops. At 5:40pm, we left the house. At first we went to London's Drug because he had to ask the pharmacy something and after, we went to Kensington to play hockey. I was a goalie against another goalie. I wasn't really tested that much in the beginning, but was okay. In the middle, I did alright, including making the save of the game with my stick. Though, my performance started to slow down as the game progresses. In the second half, it seems like my team will lose after my frustration reaction to consecutive goals allowed, my team stormed back to score 4 goals to give us a 19-18 victory! What a comeback win!
After hockey, I left with a few friends to go to Sui Sha Ya in Lansdowne for Japanese All You Can Eat Sushi for my birthday dinner. My other friends came about 20 minutes later. We actually ordered a lot of food and constantly had to make room for new dishes. Before the end of the dinner, we massively ordered jello. About 30 in total. I myself had 5 bowls of jello because it was hardcore tasty. After dinner, they arrived to my place for birthday cake and NHL 11. It was fun, playing NHL 11 at the same time having cakes despite losing all the games! They left at 12:30am as I went to shower and made a blog post just now. Also my hockey pool suddenly did quite well. I now lead 6-5 in my first pool and now turned from an 8-5 deficient to a 9-2 lead! Birthday blessing for all these scenarios? I'd say so! Now please don't choke me tomorrow! The Phoenix Suns lost again! Even though I love that team, they can go fuck themselves, because they don't have the heart to win and I shouldn't care too much about a team with no winning desires!
Recognition: Thanks for the day Allen Tung. Lets me hang out at his place and drove me hockey and attended my birthday dinner and cake event! Also, to my team Captain, Alvin Ma. Please focus on improving your clumsiness. Gotta be more alert! Good luck! Also, I hope my birthday today, will give good luck to whoever had their exams earlier today!
I'd say so! College Day 50!! ( Last Day )
I've finally hit the 50th mark of total number of days I've attended school. Gotta feel special about the last day being on the 50th day. This morning I woke up late, 9:30am.
I got dressed and then went on the computer for a while before grabbing breakfast to eat. Well, I actually brought the food up to my room as I usually do. I was eating while listening to music. I was too busy and was not aware of the time and was kind of late once I saw the clock reaching 11:20am and I haven't even packed my stuff. I scrambled to do so and left the house with a roar. I didn't run to the bus stop but just somewhat speed walked to it. The bus arrived right when I arrived to the bus stop which was pretty timely. When I got to the skytrain station, I saw the train arriving as soon as I was waiting. Timely again eh?
When boarded the train, I checked my clock, it was only 11:45am. Way ahead of time! I did arrive to campus by 12:00pm and went to the nearest computer lab to read some fmylife post. By 12:15pm I arrived to class and people were practicing for their presentation. When class began, presentations immediately occurred. The last three groups went and it took about thirty minutes before everything was finished. During the presentation, some of my classmates checked their marks for the oral final. It seems like the people around me all failed? That scared the shit out of me. After class, I went to the nearest computer lab to check my marks. It says I got 21/30, and I also got 6.3/7.5 for participation but I wasn't completely sure if that was the right one, but I'll take it!
After that, I went home and did nothing but slacked off! I don't believe it!!!! Anyways, yes that was what I did. But I soon got down to some studying until the Patriots game against the Jets. A must watch game!!! Anyways, I'm not going to the details but the Patriots absolutely ran the Jets over this game, winning by a score of 45-3. Boy was I happy! New England is currently first in the AFC, tied for first overall with the Atlanta Falcons. Also my hockey pool had a very good start! Hopefully these days will come to me more! I haven't had enough of it just yet! Mainly because I was stuck around during the days where nothing goes right for me!
I had dinner after the football game and ate twice the amount I usually eats. After dinner, I was doing some more studying before showering. And then talked to a friend while checking mylangara once again. This time the oral final mark is gone until the final is completely over. Though I did read the email she sent us. Apparently, our homework got us some bonus marks for the quiz! Which perfected two of my quizzes and almost the 3rd one, but was 0.5 mark away from it. We also get to see our attendance mark, which is worth 7.5% like participation. I got perfect on it, therefore in total I received 13.8/15 for participation/attendance!
Recognition: Four more days till I arrive in the world of "L-e-g-a-l," hopefully everything goes right that day! A better day to start the week, let's hope this will continue. I really cherish it!!

Hockey Pool Week 9 Finals
Speechless right now. I really don't know why everything always goes against me at the wrong time! Is this some sort of conspiracy or what? I feel like, every scenarios wanted to take me down to the point where I cannot recover. This week has been the perfect example.
Time to get to the real point! First hockey pool, I lost by a score of 7-5. It was very even before Saturday. After yesterday, my team pretty much went down the drain. This week, somehow my superstar players did not perform to the level I was expecting. What was worse? They only combined for 1 point yesterday!! While my head to head opponent has a player singly finished with more points than my superstars! Wow, leave my fucking players alone!! Go bug somewhere else!!! Ward and Steve Mason were not impressive yesterday. Mason got pulled and Ward just had a below average game in all of the loss! While on the other hand, Ryan Miller got another shutout! Talking about shitty scenarios in the right moment, yesterday was just as good as it gets!!!
Now in my other pool, this one pisses the hell out of me. This week I was playing the last ranked team in the pool. Can you say upset? The score was 10-4 for him. Completely destroyed my pride. But what can I expect? Everything goes against me. No matter how good my team looks, scenarios will always take me down and send me back to hell! Here are some stupid scenarios, yes the biggest one of all. Dailyfaceoff! They posted the wrong information about Antero Nittymaki starting. Before that, my opponent has no gamestart for his goalies and we need three per week to meet the requirement, otherwise the entire goalie categories will be a freebie to the opposition. What is sad after they posted the wrong information, his goalie Antti Niemi got a shutout, which bested a couple of the goalie categories. With the combination of timely choking scenarios by my goalies he gained advantage all over the goalie categories. Now to the players, his players outperformed mines. What pissed me right off, is that I didn't know Malkin was injured till I saw him not in the lineup!!! Yeah, another timely scenario that punched the shit out of me.
Since yesterday's incident I never recovered. Today, the Vancouver Canucks lost 3-2!! Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?! Wow, they went to bug my hockey pool players, now they targeted my beloved hockey team????? Holy fuck! Leave us alone asshole! What the hell did I ever do? Being passionate?!?!??! Where is the justice huh? Why does people who doesn't care much get all the benefits while the one that actually cares get nothing but shit?
Recognition : Congratulation to my two opponents who beat me in the pool this week. Also, keep up the winning streak Alvin! I want to be the first guy to beat you! Now, starting tomorrow! Please go pick on someone else. I think you had enough! Now get lost and don't think of going after my Football team tomorrow!! It's a very critical game!!!

Hockey Week 13
Thirteen times we've been to Kensington Community Center and it was pretty short today. Before I get to that, lets start off with the day.
I woke up at around 9:30am today, only to find myself feeling very sleepy but didn't want to go back to sleep again. I spend only 30 minutes on the computer before going to vacuum and mopping the floor.
I kept stalling until 10:30am before actually getting to work and finished in under one hour. After work, I ate breakfast and was on the computer doing my video production and the process will eventually take the whole afternoon to finish.
Pretty much did nothing but that and listening to music. My mom came home at around 1:00pm from work and we stayed home until 3:30pm when she drove me to a friend's place.
At the friend's place, I helped him imported NHL 11 goal horns while I somewhat paid attention to his hong kong drama.
By 5:30pm, we somewhat watched the Canucks game when they played the hated Chicago Blackhawks. At 5:50pm we left the house to play hockey. I did however spend the last 10 minutes when we arrived to watch the first period with a few friends.
We only have 30 minutes to play hockey and as a result I just played goalie for the heck of it. The score will be 8-8 at the end. After hockey, we helped set up tables for tomorrow's event. After the set up, I watched the 3rd period of the game with a friend as we witness Roberto Luongo shutting out the gayass Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 3-0.
When the game was over, we walked until he was home while I went to 7-11 to wait for my mom to pick me up. I got home at around 9:00pm and had dinner and then showered. I didn't know why I'm feeling ill right now. Anyways, good luck to my hockey pool tomorrow!!
Recognition: In just 6 days, say hello to number 19!!!! L-E-G-A-L!!!!

College Day 49 ( Last Day Of History 1115 ) D:
Wow, I cannot believe the semester is coming close to an end! It has officially been seven weeks of class attended since Day 1!
This morning, I had trouble waking up because I slept at 2:30am, due to the fact I had to finish my term paper for history.
I got down to eat breakfast before packing my stuff for school. I cannot believe we left the house at 8:00am. Somehow my mom was able to drop me off to campus, 5 minutes before class started.
In class today, we were into groups to discuss about the final exam topics, in which it only lasted for one hour. We then left 45 minutes earlier.
I did nothing for the next 45 minutes but just walking around the school with a friend and talk.
By 10:30am, I went to the library to kill time. I did nothing really, but reading fmylife.com and listening to music while on facebook.
When the clock struck 12:10pm, I went to my Chinese 1115 class and all we did was listen to presentation from our classmates. We also had a class dialogue for practice which was vital.
After class, I took the 49th bus to 49th and Knight and walked to a friend's place to play NHL.
NHL was fun, despite me losing all the games. After NHL, he had three sales to deliver and I went with him. The whole process took about two hours before we ate PHO at a nearby restaurant.
After our meal, I got a ride home, as he drove home after. Shortly after, I had dinner but I didn't eat a lot. Only a bowl of rice and a couple piece of chickens.
When dinner was over I went back to my P.C and started chilling!! Until now!

College Day 46
It's a brand new day today, though nothing much happened today. This morning, I woke up at 8:00am, only to help my mom print some bank information out. By 8:30am, my aunts and cousin woke up because their leaving Vancouver today.
We got dressed, packed all the luggage, dumped them in the back of the car and left the house. We went to the bank first and I didn't know what was going on, but the process took about an hour when we were there.
We were done by 10:30am, and we didn't have enough time to eat with them, so we dropped them off at the airport entrance, and had to go, as well waived goodbye to them.
Later, my mom took me to Angels Cafe to eat. I had just enough to keep myself alive. So after we ate, she dropped me off at school and sped off to work.
In Chinese 1115 class, we reviewed all the words we have learned from the whole semester. I couldn't help myself, but falling half asleep. We finished the class five minutes before the original end time, so we just left.
I went home, and ate something before writing my history term paper. That was what I did for the whole day after coming up, now I've finally finished writing, but not citing. Time to let my friend check.
Recognition : Nothing.

Hockey Pool Week 8 Recap
Finally, I have played against all of the opponents in the league. Though, I played against the best team in the league this week. Well, I cannot be more than happy that my team put up a very strong fight against the best team in the league, despite falling short by a score of 6-5. My team lost in a dramatic finish with my goalie determining the winner. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to win in the shootout and ending the week with a 6-5 loss.
In my other pool, I was leading 13-2 before today. After today, I finish with a 10-3 win. I was alright with it. Now, tomorrow is a brand new start! Time to finish any unfinished business.
Recognition : Ten GWG to you Alvin. Absolutely retarded!!! That's as good as somebody scoring 100 points against me and also congratulation of being undefeated again. I hope you win your next seven matchups so it gives me another chance to beat you!

Hockey Week 12
Oh my goodness! It's Friday already!! Couldn't be more happy about the weekend, but first things first, I woke up at 9:30am today, and went on the computer to check on the score between the Bruins and the Hurricanes.
I got dressed, as my mom came back and ordered everybody to wake up because we're going to Dim Sum. I then have my friends update me on the scores. The Hurricanes will eventually win 3-0. After Dim Sum, I went home first to do some homework while they buy stuff for hotpot.
By 3:30pm they came home, and I got a ride from my mom to Ikea to take the bus. Boy, the weather was absolutely terrible. When I got to Vancouver and was walking to a friend's place, it started to rain. What an absolute joke. We played a little bit of NHL 11 before heading to Hockey.
When we were at hockey, there was hardly anybody there but a few more showed up. We first sorted out the teams by sticks in the middle and then we started the game. Our team lost 19-17, but hey I scored a breakaway goal, in which I have no problem doing so all the time.
After hockey, a friend drove me to 7-11 where I waited for my mom to pick me up. We went home right after and I went to watch the 3rd period of the Canucks game, while having Hot Pot. Vancouver ended up winning 6-1. I couldn't be more proud of this performance. After hotpot, I came back and started talking and now I'm blogging!

College Day 45
Well, it's almost the end of the week, for me that is, since there will be no school on Fridays for me anyways. This morning I was able to wake up on time since I have classes early. It was snowing heavily outside, when I peeked out the window.
We left the house early because the snow will make it hard to drive. I still managed to get to class before 8:15am. Half of the class were absent today, but our lecture still carried on. We lectured on Hitler's violation on the Treaty of Versailles, which eventually allowed Britain and France to declare war against him. However, he already anticipated a war due to his own actions and desires. We were also given our final exam outline.
After class, I stayed at the library to work on my essay. By the time, I finished my Chinese homework, I randomly checked nfl.com and surprisingly noticed that my Patriots are playing against the Lions today. I stopped all work and decided to pay attention to the game instead. They were trailing 17-10 at the half, but soon broke out in the second half. I didn't get to finish following the whole game, but the Patriots led 38-24 when I had to leave for class. The final score will be 45-24 New England, on a second half dominant performance.
In Chinese 1110 today, we practiced for our final exams, which included Pinyins to characters, characters to pinyins and pinyins dication. Pretty much that was it for the class.
After class, I got a ride home from my mom. When we got home, we dropped our stuff and went out to eat, along with our relatives. We also bought some stuff and head home. When we're back home, we prepared the stuff and then had Mahjong. I wasn't doing well because I couldn't draw anything I needed.
By 8:30pm, we had dinner. My dad cooked crabs and some other food as we ate and had beer as well. After dinner, I washed the dishes, took a shower and then head back to play Mahjong.
This time I was just on fire. I was so willing to risk losing a lot, by discarding inappropriately, but nothing happened. Soon, I won when games are about to end which is a good thing. We finished playing at 1:00am, and hell, I'm totally exhausted. See you later!
Recognition : Alvin, please get a shoe with better grips man! Stop hurting yourself with all the slips you've had today.
College Day 44
Semester is coming very close to the end. I didn't wake up until 9:00am today, because it is Wednesday. I did nothing when I woke up, except going on the laptop and watching videos before getting dressed for Dim Sum.
The weather outside was still very cold but I can suck it up. In the restaurant, I ate Shrimp Dumplings along with some Sharks Fin Soup and other Dim Sums. By 11:40am, I left with my dad and my sister as he drove the both of us to school. I was able to get to school by 12:10pm as I just waited in my classroom for people to show up.
We first spend fifteen minutes reading chapter 4, dialogue 2. After we got our quizzes back, and as predicted I got 37.5/40. Later on, we were given the format of our final exam, for both written and the oral part. After explaining, we were free to do whatever we want, because she didn't do anymore teaching. I still stayed behind until 1:30pm to go home.
When I got home, I ate something and then continued on my essay. My mom came home at 5:00pm and we decided to go have PHO for dinner.
I went with my dad first to pick up my sister before heading back to richmond to the PHO place. I had myself a large beef ball noodle with lemonade. Delicious!! After dinner, we went home and I continued to work on my essay while my friend gave me update on the Canucks game. They finally win by a score of 4-2!!! Finally!!!
Recognition : Alvin, when you read this, I just wanted to let you know that your team is retarded!! OMG!!! 3 GWG!!!! Absolutely retarded :( But let the upset happen!!

College Day 43
Well, another cold winter day here in Vancouver. I woke up even earlier today, 6:30am to prepare to drive my sister to Ikea as soon as possible. We left the house at 7:10am and I came home by 7:25am. Remote didn't work again, but the problem was solved faster than yesterday.
I left the house and went to the bus stop station by 7:30am just right when the bus came. Soon I arrived to campus within 40 minutes.
In History 1115 today, we had a lecture on Japanese aggression in Asia, especially in Manchuria and how they competed with the United States for economy interest. After when class is over, I went to the library to work on my term paper. I slacked off so much, and actually started working at the last 30 minutes.
I left the library by 12:05pm and waited by the lab door at 12:15pm. In Chinese 1110 today, we practiced pinyins and sentences.
By 1:20pm, class was over and I went home. I continued to work on my History term paper and drove my sister home at 4pm.
My mom came back at 5:00pm and we went to Korean BBQ for dinner at 6:30pm. The food was alright, not the best but was decent enough. I also had a bottle of Molson Canadian Beer, GREAT STUFF!!! After dinner we left for home and I continued to do my history term paper before making this blog post.
Recognition: Congratulation to my friend who achieved an A+ in his Canadian Studies essay!!

College Day 42
Oh Yeah!! Approximately attended six full weeks of class today. Well, I had an uneasy morning today. I woke up at 7:00am, to drive my sister to Ikea bus stop and then went back home. Once I reached the gate entrance, I couldn't open the gate because somehow the remote doesn't work. I tried for at least five minutes, until someone has to exit the gate and the gate opened.
When I reached to the garage door, I couldn't open it with the stupid remote. After spending a good ten minutes trying to get it working, I decided to open the house door and then manually press the button inside the garage. Somehow I couldn't open the house door as I twisted very hard. The cold made it even harder, after another five minutes, I managed to open the door, realizing that I have to pull the door back and then unlock it. I parked the car, and head back upstairs to sleep for another hour before waking up at 9, due to a phone call.
Breakfast was nothing spectacular as I had rice. By 11:20am, I left the house and to school. I arrived to campus by 12:15pm. In Chinese 1115 today, we had a new instructor. Our first instructor had to call for a "sick leave" but that was fine. We spend the whole class studying vocabularies of chapter 4. I'm surprised that we didn't receive our quizzes back, but oh well.
After class, I went home. On the bus, there was this Chinese lady that kept saying things out to who I don't know, but everybody found her extremely weird. When I got home, I ate something before continuing on my history term paper.
By 4:00pm I took a break and followed all the hockey scores. I had a decent day, with Steve Mason registering a shutout. Tough luck for my opponents on that, but the Dallas Stars and the Washington Capitals couldn't produce points for me, in which I relied a lot of them. To my friend who is reading this, "Be glad that you're lucky today!!" - CanucksxDream
By 6:30pm we had dinner and I ate quite a bit. We didn't have soup today, so I drank juice instead. After dinner, I went back to work and showered later before making this blog post. Now tomorrow will be even tougher! Going to bed now! Nights to all!

Hockey Pool Week 6 Summary
I don't know what to say now. My hockey pool team, I have finally registered my first win, in one of the matches and registered another win in my other pool. Though, I wasn't fully happy, after witnessing the Canucks' terrible performance this week.
On the first match I prevailed by a score of 7-2, including scoring a career high of 50 points. Tied for most points in 1 week. Brian Rafalski has been this week's star, registering 10 points. Ryan Clowe was great too. James Neal was spectacular against San Jose the other time they played.
On the second match, I nailed a score of 10-4, scoring 47 points. I would of secured an extra 2 categories, if my goalies actually made some more saves and win in a shootout. This week has been a fun ride in the hockey pool's department, but was very depressing in return, watching the Vancouver Canucks.
Starting tomorrow, my opponent will be the commissioner who happens to be ranked first right now and an average opponent. It will be fun, I swear! Hopefully the Canucks can get their ass back on track!

Hockey Week 11
Friday again!! Yay! My mom woke me up this morning at 8:00am just to check for the retarded flight arrival time. I was pretty grumpy of her doing so. After that, I left my computer on but went back to sleep.
I woke up at 9:30am and relaxed for a bit, before starting to do the house chores. Apparently, my relatives will be here today. I mopped and vaccumed the floor and completed at 11:30am.
I then ate my breakfast and waited for my mom to come back. I played games and we waited at home until 1:30pm to go to the aiport to pick up our relatives. Apparently, they arrived early but we didn't get a phone call because their cellphone couldn't send calls here in Vancouver.
We then went home and dropped the stuff before going out to have lunch. I had curry rice and lemon tea. After lunch, I was dropped off at Ikea's bus stop. It was extremely cold, but I was able to withstand it.
I went to a friend's house and hanged out before going to hockey. I was glad,he has a car. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get home.
In hockey, we had extremely a large amount of people playing. Our team ended up losing 18-16. In the middle of the game, our supervisor had a chat with a friend. I was curious and went to see what was going on. Apparently, this kid named Brandon was upset because he didn't have enough playing time. Which is ridiculous, considering how he has the most playing time, out of everybody.
After hockey, I got a ride home and had hotpot with family and relatives. I didn't feel like eating much anyways. I had fish, vegetables and bacons. Also had a glass of redwine.
I showered late and will be sleeping soon, because I have to wake up at 6 in the morning, tomorrow to drive my mom and relatives to a place, to wait for the tour bus. They will be going to Calgary for four days. FML!!!

College Day 41
Close, very close to 6 weeks full of class. A lot of stuff went through my mind this morning, so I couldn't sleep when the clock struck 5:00am. I woke up at 6:00am only to find myself on the computer slacking off.
When the clock struck 7:00am I got changed and went downstairs to grab a bowl of "Shanghai Noodles" to eat. Not very tasty in my opinion, but the hot sauce changed everything.
By 8:00am, we left the house and I thought I was going to be late, but my mom pulled off another miracle run and dropped me off at the sidewalk by 8:20am. I was able to arrive to class by 8:25am.
In History 1115 today, we had a lecture on how the Nazi took control of Germany and how oppositions and Jews were attacked by the German nation, including "Crystal Night" and "Night Of The Long Knives" right after when the Nazi declared that May 1st is a Holiday. Something that I didn't know at all. At 10:00am, we had group discussions, but my group just quickly skimmed through it right before class was over.
After the first class, I went to the library to cram for my Chinese quiz. I admit, I was slacking off while studying at the same time. Until 11:30am, I then actually started studying without distracting myself.
I left the library with a friend at 12:00pm and hell it was raining like a bitch outside. We waited by the door, at 12:15pm, while studying further.
I couldn't get anything in my head, but when the quiz arrived, it seems like my brain was given a temporary blessing and I was able answer majority of the questions. Prediction, 37.5/40.
After class, I got a ride home from my mom. Immediately I started doing some house chores that was required for tomorrow, since my relatives will be visiting.
The house chores process took very little time to complete. I then started doing more research for my second term paper.
Dinner wasn't ready yet until 7. That was okay, though the food was great! After dinner, I went to check the hockey scores for my yahoo fantasy pool! It was spectacular. Life is good! Despite the Phoenix Suns losing again to the Orlando Magic.
Well, tomorrow my relatives will arrive. Hockey will still be played, whether my parents like it or not!

College Day 39
Another day has passed. Today, I barely woke up at 7:00am but I still did. I got dressed and went downstairs. Unfortunately, my mom hasn't completed making fried rice yet, so I had to wait until 7:30am to eat.
By 8:00am, we left the house. I still managed to arrive to campus by 8:20am. First class was History 1115. We spend the whole class talking about Hitler and how he came to power and the rise of Nazism. I know Hitler himself was a very good speech talk person, but never knew he was good at yelling at people and always thinking of suicide. Though, I know he did in 1945 when the war was over for Germany.
After class, I went to the library to study until 12:00pm and then headed straight to the computer lab door to wait for my instructor.
In Chinese 1115, we had reviews for Thursday's quiz pretty much for the whole class. We didn't get our quiz back though.
After class, I went home and started doing more researching for my History term paper while I text a friend. Apparently, his student isn't doing so well. I wonder what plan he'll come up with, in order save his boss the job and the student's performance.
Had dinner at 7:30pm and then continued to do my term paper after that.
I was not satisfied with only 3 points for my hockey pool. Consider that I have more players playing today. Is this another one of those small battles that I will lose?? Let's see what happens tomorrow!

College Day 38
A brand new week just started today. Absolutely had no trouble getting up this morning, because I couldn't sleep anymore. Well? I got out of bed, got dressed and head downstairs to grab breakfast. Some noodles were left on the table, though it was enough for me.
After breakfast, I was relaxing until 11:20am in which I left the house on a rainy day. When I was outside, it was like hell, the rain was pretty big and I was pretty much all wet, when I reached the bus stop.
By 12:10pm, I was inside my school building. Spend about 5 minutes trying myself and waited to get in class.
In Mandarin class today, we did not get our quiz back, surprisingly. We spend the class learning grammars and reading chapter 2. Our instructor decided that we should have a quiz and decided to have one on Thursday.
After class, I went home and started doing some research for my History term paper before the hockey game started.
I will not go into length, but it was a very intense game, but we fell short, losing 4-3 in overtime.
When the game was over, I watched the Suns game against the Nuggets. It seems like the Suns will lose, because they seem to have trouble defending but in the second half, the Suns played better and eventually took the game by a score of 100-94.
After the game I followed the Sharks game and it was epic. 6-3 San Jose over Los Angeles which Vancouver has a chance to get first place in the western conference on Wednesday, with a victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
By the time the game ended, I showered and started blogging. Hockey pool, both of my opponents were hot today, 12 points and 10 points vs my 8 points for both pools. Now what will happen tomorrow????

Hockey Pool Week 5 Recap
Speechless, absolute speechless. Why is everything always against me. I pretty much lost in every tiny battles. For example when I need points, I will get them, but my opponent's players will also get the point at the same, which doesn't help at all. I lost again, and now have lost 5 straight and 2 straight in both of my hockey pools.
It's very unreasonable to run into hot opponents every week. Something must be seriously wrong, which I have no idea of. Bad luck?? Perhaps! Though I said, I was going to quit if I lose five straight. But thinking back, why should I quit, when I spend so much time dealing with this stupid shit. It's just not worth quitting!
I lost 7-3 in my first pool, in which my opponent scored 45 points when I scored 38 points. In my other pool, I lost by a score of 12-4, scoring 47 points, but my opponents finished the day with 51 points. Which is sad, because whenever I get hot, my opponents gets even hotter!
A brand new week begins tomorrow, it's time to forget what happened this week and focus on next week. Hopefully I don't run into another hot opponent for the 6th straight time.

Hockey Week 10
Holy smokes, ten weeks of hockey already? I couldn't believe it. Oh well. My day began when I had trouble sleeping again at 9:00am. So I decided to wake up. I turned on my computer, but it wouldn't load anything up. It went on for a long time, and I realized that my computer had too much dust. I then cleared a lot of it off and my computer worked again.
I ate half a bowl of Macaroni and instant noodles at 10:30am. My mom came home at 12:30pm and we left ten minutes after. Apparently, my sister and I were scheduled at 1:30pm to get our teeth checked and 2:30pm to get our eyes checked.
I was more worried about my eyes more than my teeth. The optometrist tested my eyes and only my left eye increased 25 degrees of myopic, so that makes it 150 degrees. After, I was given some drops in my eyes and my eyes were blurry for couple of hours. After the optometrist appointment, we went to Zellers and shopped around before heading back to Vancouver.
My mom drove me to Langara Skytrain where I'd be meeting a friend. We bussed to 49th and Knight to grab some KFC and ate there. We then went to his place to get ready. Because he doesn't have a car today, we had to bus.
By 5:55pm we arrived. My two Richmond friend were there already. By 6:20pm, everyone arrived. Our supervisor was about to get mad again, for not starting a game, but luckily a friend told him that we got the teams all settled. The game was a very intense tight checking game. I didn't play that well defensively in the first half. I was a -3 heading into the half, with the score 5-4 for the opposition.
In the second half, my line suddenly exploded scoring 6 straight goals before I got off. Just a few shifts later, the opposition started to score, and I was forced to shut them down again. In the end, we won by a score of 20-12.
After hockey, I walked with a few friends until I reached 7-11. My mom bought me sushi for dinner as I went home and ate it.
After shower I was fooling around before blogging.

College Day 35
Exactly five weeks of college, just like that. When the clock hit 9:00am, I immediately step foot on ground. Monday morning breakfast has always been the same and will most likely be it forever. I ate spaghetti with hot sauce and boy it was awesome!
After breakfast I was on the computer slacking off until 11:20am. Though I left the house by 11:25am without my rain jacket. At first the sky seem partially sunny without rain. But as I was waiting for the bus, at the bus stop the presence of the rain became visible.
I got on the 405 bus to Lansdowne skytrain station and boarded the train to Langara station. By the time I got off the skytrain, it has stopped raining. By 12:15pm, I arrived to campus and headed for my only class of the day. In Chinese 1115, we went over some grammars, for our quiz on Wednesday. Our class also decided to do an in class presentation for our oral final exam. I end up being in a group with two other friends.
After class, I went home and started doing some research for my next History term paper. I soon got depressed over the fact that I had some screw ups on my previous essay, in terms of formatting.
We ate dinner very late, 9:30pm. After dinner, I came back here just to blog before bed time.
Tomorrow, we will be getting our first essay back. Prediction 13/20.

Hockey Pool Week 4 Result
Thank goodness this week is coming to an end. It has been exceptionally tough, going through bad luck throughout this week's hockey pool.
Well, for my Vancouver league in this week, I lost by a margin of 11-1, while in my Richmond league, I fell by a score of 12-4.
Moves that I made going into next week : Trading Marc Andre Fleury for Steve Mason. I know it's not a good trade for me, but I'm willing to risk it, considering how Fleury is pretty much destroying my team and cursing it. Dropped an unknown injured Drew Stafford for Ryan Callahan.
Quit or no quit?? I can't really decide at the moment, but I will give it another week. I will also execute my two combo moves to gain an advantage for myself!
Let's see what's in store for the upcoming week!! Let's go CanucksxDream!

College Day 34
A tough morning for me, I barely woke up at 7am as I slowly got dressed and headed down to eat breakfast.
By 7:50am, we left the house and I arrived to campus by 8:25. In history 1115 today, we were given out new essay assignment that will be due at the last day of class, Dec 2nd. We spend the rest of the class lecturing about the Great Depression and the countries that were affected by it.
After class, I was at the library doing some preparation on which course to register for the spring semester.
By 12:10pm, I went to my Chinese classroom and sat there while the rest of my classmates arrived and we all waited for our instructor. In class today, we learned more words, which will eventually be on our final exam. We also discussed our oral part of the final exam. We were given two options, either to do a presentation or the regular oral examination style.
After class, I went home and did my readings before the game started. By 6pm my friend was updating me on the score against the Avalanche. Vancouver would end up winning 3-1.
After dinner, I was listening to music and then later showered and eventually went to sleep.

College Day 33
It's already Wednesday, but I'm not surprised at how fast days have gone by. I didn't care. This morning, I was woken by a phone call. Apparently it was my uncle who asked us to go Dim Sum for breakfast. By then it was almost 10am and I was just barely awake.
This forced me to scramble to get dressed up and wait for my dad to return. By 10:10am, we left the house and arrived to the restaurant by 10:25am. I didn't eat much, but a couple pieces of shrimp dumplings and rice.
At 11:20am, we left the place and I was dropped off at Aberdeen Station. It was quite early when I arrived to campus, therefore I sat down and looked over my stuff.
By 12:30pm, the class began. We got our oral midterms back. As predicted, I got 30/40. That was alright, because I "think" everybody did worse than me lol! For the rest of the class, we read ch2 and had a discussion about the final exam.
After class I went home and did some readings before friends arrived to play NHL 11. I've gotten better, even registering my first win against a friend that I couldn't beat.
After they left, I had dinner, showered and blogged!
Gotta wake up tomorrow!

College Day 32
A tough morning to begin with, I got out of bed five minutes late before scrambling to get dressed, brush my teeth and stormed downstairs for breakfast. I finished breakfast within ten minutes and packed my stuff for school.
We left the house at 7:50am and I arrived to campus by 8:15am. In History 1115 today, we spend the class lecturing about China and Japan after the first world war and to the 1930s. My stomach was being extremely naughty during the whole lecture and I couldn't pay well attention while I jot down notes.
After class, I spend my 1.5 hours break at the library studying for my Mandarin oral exam.
By 12:10pm, I along with several classmates waited for our instructor to open the door. Well today, we had our Mandarin oral midterm exam. Yes, I know I screwed up on it! Prediction 30/40! After our midterm exam, we get to leave.
By 1:45pm, I went home and did some readings before slacking off and listening to music.
By 6pm, the Canucks game was on. I didn't watch the game but let my Burnaby friend update me. He was doing well, until the 3rd period. When Vancouver blew a 3-0 lead, I immediately told him to stop updating me, mainly because I wanted to take over. With 9 minutes to go, Raffi Torres backhanded a hat-trick goal against his former team, the Edmonton Oilers for a 4-3 Vancouver lead. That would be the final score as Vancouver wins its first road game this season!!
After the game, I slacked off for a little longer before showering and then blogging! Now let's see how I did on the midterm exam tomorrow!

College Day 31
Well, a brand new week begins today. I started the day off getting off bed at 9:30am and went to ate breakfast while listening to music on the computer.
By 11:20am, I left the house to go to school. Arrived at the bus stop at 11:35am, got on at 11:40am, arrived at the skytrain station by 11:50am, got on the skytrain at 11:53am and arrived to langara station by 12:05pm, and arrived to campus by 12:15pm.
It's only Monday today, so I only had 1 class. In mandarin 1115 today, we got our midterms back. I score a mark of 51.5/60. For the rest of the class, we learned new characters and reviewed for our oral midterm exam for tomorrow.
After class, I went home and started doing my readings and then photoshopped a wallpaper before watching the Canucks game at 7. For the first time in so long, I've watched a Canucks game on weekdays. I'm only watching this game, because it's a battle between the league's top two goaltenders, Roberto Luongo and Martin Brodeur. The Vancouver Canucks scored the first goal in the first period by Raffi Torres. In the second period, Ryan Kesler scored on his own rebound. In the 3rd period, Henrik Sedin was awarded a penalty shot after he was tripped down on a breakaway. Henrik would eventually score on a backhand to give Vancouver a 3-0 lead. That was the final result, as Luongo outplayed Brodeur and having a shutout.
After the game, I showered and started blogging. Oh by congratulations to the San Francisco Giants for winning the world series against the Texas Rangers! Even though I'm a Jays fan and likes the Cardinals as well, it's good to see the Giants winning.

Happy Hallo Pool Week 3
Well, it's the last day of October, so therefore it's HALLOWEEN!! That being said, I still did what I usually do on normal Sundays. I woke at 10:30am today, but was still sleepy. I ate pasta and instant noodles before my mom came back from Dim Sum.
For the rest of the day, I pretty much watched football. I watched the Patriots game vs the Vikings, in which New England prevailed. I'm proud that their defense picked it up. They were great in the redzone, both offensively and defensively. They ended up winning 28-18.
Later I went downstairs to watch the B.C Lions game. It's a must win situation in order to keep their playoffs hope alive. They did just that, but was almost doomed in the final 5 minutes. They ended up winning 23-17. Now next Saturday will be intense.
After the game, I went to play basketball before coming back home for dinner. My sister went trick or treating.
Okay, time to get to the real point. My hockey pool results. Well, I can't say it was worse than last week. Though I lost 9-4 in the first pool and came back to win 8-7 on the second pool. My team seem to do so well on Saturdays, but not during weekdays, while my opponents are the exact opposite. It's time to end my losing streak and get back on track!!

Hockey Week 8
Two months officially passed since the first time we've returned to play hockey at Kensington. As the little boy wakes up from his 9 hours of slumber, he started doing house chores.
By 11am, he finished everything and began photoshopping. Nothing else were being done except making wallpapers and listening to music.
Around 4:45pm the innocent kid ate dinner before getting dressed to go to hockey. By 5:45pm, his buddies arrived and were all set to go.
It was the first time he brought friends to play hockey. The game was fun but they lost by a score of 26-23.
After hockey, the innocent little boy and his friends went back to the boy's home to play NHL 11 and had food orders.
When the day, he sleeps! Hopefully I'll beat my opponent tomorrow for my yahoo fantasy. If not, that will be 3 straight loss!! CMON TEAM!! DO SOMETHING!

College Day 27, 28, 29, 30
I haven't blogged since Sunday. I apologize, because the other time time to blog. But here's what happened during the past 4 days.
On Monday, I only had one class and during the class, we had answer keys to the practice questions for our midterm exam on Wednesday and then we just went over the textbooks and all the radicals of the character words.
On Tuesday, I had History class first. My instructor spend the whole class talking about different countries in Europe after the war. As for Canadian Studies, we went over the reading question and we also got our midterms back. I failed the midterm, scoring only 10.7/25. In Mandarin class, we were at the lab practicing for our midterm exam.
On Wednesday, we had our midterm exam. I even wore my Vancouver Canucks Jersey to school, following by a Canucks win on Tuesday. The test was actually pretty hard, but I know I'll still score a solid mark. I spend the rest of the day working on my essay. I ended up sleeping at 3 am this morning.
Today, in history class today, we spend the whole lecture talking about the Israel and Palestine conflict. AKA Jews vs Arabs. We also handed in our essay at the end of the class. I only have two classes now, because I dropped Canadian Studies. I spend the rest of the break, at the library doing nothing at all. In chinese class today, we did nothing because apparently, our class have been canceled. I then went home and started photoshopping.

Hockey Pool Week 2 Summary
Well, another week has ended. I was hoping for a better week, but my desires were not granted at all. I lost in the two pool's matchup for the week. 10-2 and 14-1. It was embarrassing to lose by double digits in two straight weeks.
Now for the first pool, in which I have lost 10-2, I now officially have the worst start in team history. The one that hurts the most was yesterday and today. Yesterday my opponent had accumulated 13 points while I only received 9. Today was suppose to be a final push, but nothing really happened. I got nothing which left me the way I was, the night before.
In my second pool, I got nothing as well which again, left me the way I was last night. However, my players finally got back in shape. Semin and Fleury finally helped. "This is probably good news for the Canucks and bad news for their next opponent," this was quoted by the color commentating on Versus, after Alexander Burrows hit the empty net to finish the Kings off in the first round of the playoffs. Burrows was Vancouver's leading scorer and he didn't do anything in the playoffs until the empty net goal. I can relate this to some of my players who didn't help me produce before but now started producing.
I will say this again! Hope for a better week starting tomorrow!

Well, it's pretty much been two months since Kensington hockey began. This morning, I rose right at 9am. I was on the computer for one hour and then decided to do the house chores. I got everything done in less than one hour, which included vacuuming and mopping the floor also folding the clothes.
I pretty much slacked off for the whole day. When my mom came back, we went to Vancouver, to get haircuts. Later, we went to our relative's house to drop off some clothing before heading to Angels Cafe for our afternoon meal. I ordered rice and chicken steak with Teriyaki and a lemon tea. After we ate, we went home to kill time before I leave my house again for hockey, at 5:35pm.
At hockey, there wasn't that many people but we still had enough to play a game. I wasn't on my best performance however. I tried a new strategy, that was playing without a goalie stick. It seem to work better than I thought, though my team ended up losing 23-19. After hockey, we stayed around to watch the second period of the Vancouver Canucks game, in which they were up 2-0. After, we all walked home but I walked to 7-11 until my mom picked me up. By then, Vancouver won 5-1!! Schneider for the win!!
When I got home, I showered and then ate before blogging.

College Day 26
Wow, it's been a while since I've actually blogged my daily activity in sentence structures haha. This morning, I woke up at 7 because I have class at 8:30am. I got dressed, ate breakfast and left the house at 7:50am. I did not know how my mom was able to get me to the campus when she dropped my sister off first and then me.
Anyways, I arrived to campus by 8:12am and was in the classroom by 8:18am. In history 1115 today, we had a lecture on Benito Mussolini and fascist Italy. I was able to fill up two pages of notes, both sides included. Near the end of the class, we got our midterms back. Yes I was having a secret and silent heart attack and then I saw my mark, I breath a sigh of relief. 14.5/20 = 44.5/60.
After we got our midterms back, classes was over. I then wait for my Canadian Studies class door to open while studying and talking to a friend. We had a midterm exam today, and I have to say, it was hard. I answered the questions while second guessing myself, though I just kept going without hesitation. I finished the exam, when time was nearly over. After class, I hanged out with a friend for a while before going to my last class of the day.
In Mandarin class today, we pretty much went over all the stuff for our written test on Wednesday. I along with a few other classmates participated in writing characters based on the radicals on the characters.
After class, I went home. I suppose was to be studying and doing my essay, but I decided to slack off instead. I even watched some of the hockey games that were on today. Later I had dinner and then came back up to start photoshopping.
Hopefully I don't slack off that much tomorrow.

Hockey Pool Week 1 Results
Okay, it's been a pretty bad week for me. Actually, it was alright at first until recently when my team went downhill. I have believed that last Sunday was the end of the first week match up. I was leading in both of my yahoo fantasy hockey pool.
All changed when my goaltender Marc Andre Fleury gave up 4 goals on 16 shots to the Toronto Maple Leafs. After that, I didn't recover at all. My head to head opponent would take advantage of this by producing points that no one has ever witnessed before.
He finished with 68 points while I finished 50 points, by far the most points combined for a weekly match up.
At the end of the day, I lost by a score of 10-2. I tried pretty hard to get rid of Fleury, mainly because I do not keep useless goalies on my team. In fact, I'm very strict towards goalies in general. If he can't perform, he's out immediately.
As for my other pool, I finished the week with an 11-4 victory. I first thought the longer the week is, the higher chance it is for me to capture more categories. Since the Fleury incident, I couldn't capture more categories, in fact I lost 2 extra ones. I hope for a better week, starting tomorrow!

Happy 40th Langara Anniversary , College Day 22
Today was officially the 40th birthday of Langara College. This means that Langara was build on Oct 14th, 1970. The exact same year where the Vancouver Canucks joined the National Hockey League.
This morning I woke up at 6:50 easily because my history midterm exam is at 8:30 in the morning. I got dressed and went downstairs to eat before coming back up to pack my stuff.
We left the house at 7:50 and I arrived at the campus by 8:10. I spend the rest of the time before the exam reviewing my notes. We had our exam right when our instructor came in. The exam was broken down into two components. First one was the short answers question. We were given ten questions and we had to answer six of them. To be honest, I was able to answer two questions, and all the other four I answered but with doubts. The second component was the essay question. I've chosen to write about, "Is the guilt clause in the Treaty Of Versailles justifiable or not." I argued that it was unjustifiable because the allies putted all the blame on the Germans for the cause of the war, when it was the problem between Austria and Serbia. I also argued that Germany was basically doing what the allies were doing, and that was backing up it's allies. If Germany was at fault for doing that, I pretty much assumes that the allies are at fault as well.
After the exam, we get to leave and I just sat with a friend outside our Canadian Studies classroom. In Canadian Studies today, we were given out the midterm outline which contains the essay question and things that we have to know for the midterm. After that, we continued looking at American power in Canadian economies. Once our break was over, we got into groups to discuss the answers to the readings that was assigned last class.
Once class was over, I bumped into a friend who I've known working at PNE, in the hallway. We walked around as we were watching all the events going on around the school, for the langara 40th anniversary. At 12:20, I ditched him for class. In Chinese class today, we learned a few more words. In the middle of the class, we had a character dictation competition. Several classmates and I participated just for the marks. After that, we practiced for our oral exam on for Wednesday, next week.
When class is over, I got a ride from my mom since it was raining. We first had sushi and then we went to the shopper drug store to pick up a delivery package from our aunt, living in Australia. When we got home, I pretty much spend the whole day doing my essay. Nothing much really occurred since then.

College Day 21
I've been to class exactly for three weeks now. Today, I woke up at 9:15 since I don't have morning classes on Wednesdays. I got dressed, packed my stuff and went downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast I came back to my room and started studying for my history midterm.
By 11:20am, I left the house and actually got on the 410 bus as soon as I reached the bus stop. I got off at Aberdeen station to board the skytrain to Langara station and walked a few blocks to my campus. When I arrived I sat down on a seat to review for my Chinese quiz.
Class started at 12:30. Our instructor handed back our homework first and then we had our quiz right away. The quiz wasn't so hard but the pinyins was hard. Prediction : 37/40. After the quiz, we went on to finish chapter 0.7. We also learned a few new words on the way. Next week, we will be having our oral exam and a test the class after.
After class, I went home and immediately I pretty spend the whole time studying. Even after dinner and shower I still continued to study.
Tomorrow is the midterm so I will be sleeping early today.

College Day 20
Well it's almost three weeks of school, but this morning I had a bit of trouble waking up because it's Tuesday, though I slept quite early last night. I got dressed and ate breakfast before going to school.
I arrived to campus by 8:20 and class by 8:26. In history class today, we first spend half the class lecturing about arts responding to the first world war. Our instructor also gave us a few poems and art works to have a look at, on the projector. After the lecture, we had a group discussion about the two poems, one is the world war 1 poem in which everybody reads during Remembrance Day and another poem written by Wilfred Owen. I couldn't believe that these two poems that I will be using for my history essay is actually for discussion as well. After discussion we get to leave class early.
In Canadian Studies today, we had a lecture on American power on Canadian's economies. After we took our break, we then went into groups to discuss the questions to the readings we had to do the class before. Later then, as a class we discussed the answers together.
In Chinese class today, we went into a lab to practice for our quiz tomorrow. First we got our quiz back. I was surprised I got 38/40 on it. An even better result than Canada's performance against Slovakia in the olympics. For the rest of the class we just practiced for our quiz.
After class, I got home and immediately started my readings. I took me 3 hours to finish the readings and the questions. Afterwards I took a shower and then started reviewing for my Chinese and then went to study for my history midterm just before dinner.
Once I finished dinner, I went back to studying until I actually went off to sleep.

Happy Canucks Thanksgivings Day
Well it is Monday, so a new week begins. But also today is Thanksgivings Day! I woke up at nine this morning because I wanted to start studying for my midterm exams. Before that, I ate breakfast first, then vacuumed the house and started studying for my history midterm.
Nothing really happened for another eight hours or so, since I've been studying like a total geek and the same time talking to people on MSN. I showered pretty early today, knowing that I will be sleeping early because of morning classes. After I showered, I studied again just when my cousins and relatives arrived.
We had hotpot instead of eating turkeys because no one was willing to go and buy it, in order to bake it. That was fine with me however. I didn't really eat a lot today, but still had a great time. I was able to finish two glass of red wines without any problems. After dinner, because I couldn't watch the Canucks' game on tv, I decided to ditch out and went back to my room to watch it.
By the time I started watching, it was the starting of the second quarter and Vancouver was up by one goal. The second period went by pretty quickly with actions everywhere. Though Vancouver didn't score but the Florida Panthers did, on a fluke goal that went off defencemen Alexander Edler's skate and the game going into the third period was tied 1-1.
In the third period, the Panthers looked more desperate than the Canucks, but Luongo backstopped the team. With just five minutes left in the game, Daniel Sedin scored a scramble rebound goal that just barely got over the line and Vancouver leads 2-1. The Panthers however did everything they could to tie the game but the Canucks' defense kept the offense off and that would be the final score. 2-1 Vancouver win! This game though was rather boring, I couldn't believe that Vancouver had no powerplays which is somewhat unbelievable. A win is a win, I'll take it. Luongo was spectacular!

Vancouver Canucks Season Opener Ruined 0-0-1
Well, today is Saturday. A weekend, hooray! I was able to sleep last night and woke up at 9:30 this morning. After getting dressed, I did the laundry, by washing my own clothes and then putting them inside the dryer machine. Also, today was Vancouver Canucks' opening ceremony.
I ate brunch just before friends came over at 12:30 to play NHL 11. I didn't go hard on them because they are beginners. I pretty much even the game level out, by playing as a goaltender.
They left my place by 5pm, right after my dad came home from work. Instead of cooking for dinner, my dad got free pizza from a friend and we ate pizza instead. I turned on to watch the Leafs game and they were up 2-0 by then. I watched the rest of the game and the Leafs won over the Ottawa Senators by a score of 5-1. Since 1999, the Leafs haven't won two straight opening games right when the season started.
By 7pm the Vancouver Canucks' 40th anniversary ceremony began. Also, Henrik Sedin was named captain of the team. He will be the 13th captain in Vancouver Canucks' history.
The game was somewhat fun to watch. In the first period, there was no scoring between the Canucks and the Kings. Though in the second period Christian Ehrhoff puts one home and the Vancouver Canucks take a 1-0 lead and going into the third period. Late in the game, Ryan Kesler took an interference penalty and the Kings' Justin Williams puts one by Roberto Luongo and the game was tied. In overtime, it was pretty much end to end actions with numerous scoring chances off the rush. Though when Bieksa took the interference penalty, Vancouver had to kill off a 4 on 3 powerplay. I was holding my breath when the Kings sets up in the offensive zone. Roberto Luongo has made some fantastic saves during the PK and eventually the Canucks was able to kill it off, so the game went into a shootout. Disastrous shootout, all I have to say. The Kings scored on both of their attempt and the Canucks missed on both of their attempts and the Kings won the game. Yes I was upset about the loss. But again, I'm upset about all kinds of loss. Since being a Canucks fan, I never really tolerated losing at all. Oh, and thanks to a friend who mentioned in his blog that I blamed Richard Loney. Yes I did blame him, though I tried not to blame him before the game. Though another factor might be that Vancouver never seem to be able to win a game at home, whenever there's a ceremony before a game. The only other time they have won is retiring Trevor Linden's jersey. A game in which they edged the Oilers by a score of 4-2.
After the game, I showered and then played Age Of Empire 3 with a friend. This time we were using cheats to fight one another. I totally smoked him with my Mediocre Canons. After the game, I read a friend's blog and then started blogging after I finished reading. Two rowdy fans tackling a mascot, what douchebags =P

Hockey Week 5
Well well, officially the fifth week of hockey today. I couldn't believe myself, I had a great difficulty sleeping last night. Therefore, I was awake by 6am. Though, I tried to go back to sleep, but only was half asleep, all the way until 8am then I fell asleep temporary for 45 minutes before actually waking up.
When I got up, I got dressed and then started vacuuming the floor and then mopped the floor. The chores didn't take me very long actually. After I completed it, I followed the Hurricanes vs Wild game. My hockey pool goalie, Cam Ward was spectacular. He stopped 41 shots out of 42 shots in a 2-1 victory in a shootout. I immediately went downstairs to eat brunch right away, as I was severely dying in hunger. I continued my history readings and read an extra section.
I then somewhat continued on my history essay, while following the Sharks vs BlueJackets game. My friend came home by the 3rd period and I went to the Vancouver to eat with him, at Angels. Surprisingly his cousin came as well. After we ate at Angels Cafe, we went to his house to chill before we went to hockey. All we did was playing NHL 11 for the hour and a half and then left for hockey.
In hockey, there weren't much people today, however we still managed to play with 8 players on each side. I was the goalie and another friend was the other. In the first game, it seems like I was too rusty and I didn't do that well. In the second game, after the half time break. The game was more closer but we ended up losing by 1. That was fine with me. After hockey, a friend drove me to 53rd avenue and my dad picked me up from there.
I had noodles after I got home. I showered and then did nothing. But now I will be sleeping.
Vancouver Canucks season opener tomorrow! I can't wait!! GO CANUCKS GO!!! BEAT L.A!! BEAT L.A!!

College Day 19
Day 19 of college campaign so far. I was easily waken this morning by 7, due to the fact I had trouble sleeping, the entire night. I woke up, got dressed, packed my stuff and went downstairs to eat and left the house.
I arrived to class by 8:20 and waited ten minutes for my instructor to show up. In history class today, we were lectured on the Treaty Of Versailles, in which Germany had to pay for war damages and reparation. We also had a group discussion, whether or not Germany should be blamed for the cause of the great war.
In Canadian Studies today, we first had a lecture on Canada and the United State's economy, based on how they are similar and different. After lecture, we had a ten minute break and then went over the reading questions that was suppose to be due several classes ago and the questions from last class.
At Mandarin class, we learned new words and had a practice quiz on pinyin. We did nothing else after except reading chapter 7, that involves asking about the week and such on.
After class, I took the skytrain to Richmond Center. My mom came 15 minutes after I arrived at the entrance. We were going there to look for my little sister's highly desired Alexander Burrows Jersey and my Roberto Luongo T-Shirt. We first went to Sportschek, but there was none so we decided to go to Jersey City to have a look. There were none as well and I decided to go to Champs Sports. There was my Luongo T-shirt but not the jersey. My mom first purchased the shirt and we left for Lansdowne. We finally bought the jersey at Collectors Den, for $147. My goodness, not even my jersey cost that much. After we bought it, we went to California Cafe to eat and then went home.
When I got home, I started doing my Mandarin homework while following the scores for the nhl season openers. Later I had dinner and then started reading my history stuff. I've decided to read 4 pages a day so it evens out all the days I don't have class.

College Day 18
Eighteen days unexpectedly passed, since the first day of class! This morning I couldn't sleep anymore around 9 so I decided to wake up to start studying for my mandarin quiz.
I ate breakfast before I left the house because I wanted to review more. I left the house at 11:20 and arrived to campus by 12:15pm. I didn't bother staying at the cafe so I just waited for my instructor inside the classroom while studying.
The mandarin quiz was alright at first, with the translation and the characters. The pinyin was somewhat hard. Though I still believe I'll pull it through. Prediction : 36/40. I will still say that my quiz performance today will somewhat be like Canada's performance against Slovakia in the semi final in the winter olympics, good start and then let the opposition get close to even the game. After the quiz, we spend the rest of the class doing a custom dialogue on all the chapters we have learned.
After class, I went home and started doing my Canadian Studies questions. The questions seemed somewhat hard but I just kept going. Later during the evening, I had dinner and then started working on my history essay.
NHL season officially begins tomorrow!! Although the Vancouver Canucks play on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings. As for now, I'll continue with my history essay!

College Day 17
How late am I, I woke up at 7:10am today and had to rush everything. After dressing up, I stormed downstairs and quickly grabbed a bowl of noodles to eat. Yes I ate pretty quickly. Right after breakfast, I started packing my stuff and raced downstairs to the garage, while my mom was getting ready.
We left the house at 8, and I arrived to class at 8:30, despite all the traffic jams near main street.
In History class today, our instructor lectured us on the Russian Revolution and then later we had a group discussion about it. We also discussed about the essay topics as well.
As for Canadian Studies, we first spend half the class discussing the reading questions we were suppose to do, two classes ago. My group was partially talking about the NFL at the same time discussing the questions. The other half of the class, we went over the questions as a class and that was pretty much it. Also, our midterm has been postponed for October 21st!! That's a good sign.
Now Mandarin class, because it was Tuesday we were at the lab. We spend the whole class practicing for the quiz that we will be having tomorrow. It seems much harder than before, in my opinion but I'll pull it through! May the quiz tomorrow be as tough as Canada playing Slovakia in the olympics. I will just have to find that out tomorrow.
After class, I went home and started doing my reading for my Canadian Studies until dinner began. After dinner, I took a break and showered before studying for my quiz tomorrow. I didn't do any of my essay stuff today, but I will be doing so tomorrow!

College Day 16
Monday again, and again a brand new week starts. This morning I woke up at 9:30 and went to take a bite of my meal before the Telus technician arrives. The guy came to increase our internet speed and upgrade our PVR box for our tv.
By 11:20am I left the house for school. First I walked to Jacombs road and boarded the 410 bus to the Aberdeen Skytrain Station. I then took the skytrain to Langara Station and walked a few blocks to my campus.
It was only Monday today, so I only had one class. We first got back our quiz from 2 classes ago. On my previous post, I predicted 35/40, which turns out to be 37.5/40. After we had a look at our quiz, we spend the whole class learning a new chapter and new words.
After class, I went home and started working on my history essay. I didn't really take a break until dinner time. After dinner, I went back to work, but soon spend a while negotiating trades with friends from the Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League. We didn't get any trades done but oh well. After we have done nothing, I started blogging and soon will be sleeping.

Hockey Pool Draft Part 2/2
So it was Sunday today and I didn't wake up until 10:30am again! Actually I woke up around 11. My mom took us out to eat for brunch and drove us home before she blasted off to play MahJong at a friend's place.
When I got home, I went to watch drama. Before I actually started watching, I had to download part A of episode 31 because I downloaded part B earlier instead. The drama was so intense. The last episode was filled joy, temporary sorrow and dramatic actions.
After completely finished watching the last episode, I went on to finish my last few pages of reading for my Canadian Studies and questions. Later on, a friend of I decided to play Age Of Empire 2. This time we managed to play a complete game. Since he attempted in raiding me with waves of onagers and handcannon troops early, I sent out my waves of onagers and was able to hold off the attack. We even had a very long naval battle. In the beginning, it is like world war 1, where nobody was able to advance. Though this was short lived. I first send a pack of paladins to attempt to raid his town but was halted by his army. I then send out my remaining onagers to make him attack me. As soon as they died out, I send out another wave of paladins to fight and also turned my defense into offense, by using my villager to build bomb towers around the battlefield so I can finish his troops off much quicker. I then start building stable near his base and then massively produced paladins to raid his town and eventually killed his king.
After playing, I started doing my research for my essay and just before dinner started, I showered.
Because the hockey pool draft starts at 8:45pm today. I had to finish eating early. I did so by 8:15pm and talked to friends that are also in the same pool. I admit, I wasn't exactly satisfied of my picks, because a lot of players I had my eyes on, were drafted. Non or less, here is my drafting result :
1. (4) Evgeni Malkin (Pit - C)
2. (13) Roberto Luongo (Van - G)
3. (20) Pavel Datsyuk (Det - C)
4. (29) Alexander Semin (Was - RW)
5. (36) Corey Perry (Anh - RW)
6. (45) Cam Ward (Car - G)
7. (52) Sergei Gonchar (Ott - D)
8. (61) Brian Rafalski (Det - D)
9. (68) Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW)
10. (77) Kimmo Timonen (Phi - D)
11. (84) Mason Raymond (Van - LW)
12. (93) Mike Knuble (Was - RW)
13. (100) Brent Seabrook (Chi - D)
14. (109) Derek Roy (Buf - C)
15. (116) Jussi Jokinen (Car - LW)
16. (125) Joni Pitkanen (Car - D)
17. (132) Antoine Vermette (Cls - C)
18. (141) Devin Setoguchi (SJ - RW)
19. (148) Ryane Clowe (SJ - LW)
20. (157) Ray Whitney (Pho - LW)
21. (164) Andy Greene (NJ - D)
Players I really wanted include : Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, Dan Boyle, Brian Campbell and Shea Weber. Now that I have two fantasy pool teams, I'm going to be get a headache with different players in my two teams.
After the draft, I continued on my essay and then blogged.

Hockey Pool Draft Part 1/2
What a day it has become. I was so exhausted last night, that I didn't wake up until 10:30 in the morning today. I ate breakfast right after I got dressed and went to watch episode 30 of the drama I have been watching for weeks. I thought they would of showed the last two episodes on a weekend, but that wasn't the case.
After drama, I continued on my Canadian Studies reading and was able to answer a few more questions, before taking a break. When a friend came home, we started playing Age Of Empire 2. I was on the verge of conquering his base but the game froze. From start to finish, I was in his zone. Pretty much like how I would of been pressuring in the offensive zone in hockey, for the entire 60 minutes.
After the game, a friend asked if I want to join his yahoo fantasy pool. I at first didn't want to, but he somewhat insisted then I gave in. I went to cook dinner and ate just before the clock reached 7:30pm. Immediately after dinner, I washed all the dish and then went to shower before the hockey pool draft which started at 8:30pm.
Here is my drafting result :
Joe Thornton, Evgeni Malkin, Corey Perry, Alexander Semin, Patrik Elias, Brendan Morrow, Ryan Smyth, Jussi Jokinen, Daniel Briere, Shane Doan, Jason Pominville, Chris Kunitz, Scott Gomez, Dan Boyle, Brian Rafalski, Sergei Gonchar, Brian Campbell, Marc Andre Fleury, Cam Ward and Brian Elliot.
I cannot say that I was disappointed with my picks. However there were few other players I really desired to have on my team. Those include : Roberto Luongo, former player, Eric Staal and Patrick Marleau.
My first week opponent would be the friend that I was just playing Age Of Empire 2 with.
After the hockey pool draft, I continued on my essay research and went to blog right now!
Another hockey pool draft tomorrow! My life is going to suck, both ways! FML!!!

Hockey Week 4
Wow, with a blink of an eye, it has already been four weeks since summer ended. I could never understand why I never had trouble waking up early on Fridays. Maybe life wouldn't be so difficult, if I could do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Anyways, I woke up at 8:30 and immediately started vacuuming the house and doing other house chores. The whole process took me an hour and I ate breakfast while watching drama. I wonder if they will show the last two episodes tomorrow, but anyways later on I continued on my 38 pages of readings for the week and attempted on answering the reading questions for my Canadian Studies reading. I know it's sad, but it took me one hour and thirty minutes to read eight pages, mainly because I had to read slowly to gain knowledge on what I read. I really wanted to work on my essay but my friend came home by then, so I left house at 2:30pm and proudly put on my Vancouver Canucks Luongo jersey.
I took the 430 bus to Knight Street and ordered KFC and ate it at a friend's place. After, we started playing NHL 11. It was a scoring contest in game one, as I prevailed by a score of 8-5. The second game was even better, I doubled my buddy's score, winning 10-5. Since there weren't much time left by then, we decided to play some shootouts. As a warning I gave to him earlier about my shootout threats, he didn't believe me and I made him witness the truth.
By 5:45pm, we left the house and another friend of ours joined us as we drove to Kensington Community Centre to play hockey. We first spend ten minutes waiting outside for the younger group to finish playing. In our first game, we had a disastrous game, losing by a score of 13-3. The second game, saw changes as we insanely annihilated the opposition. I even scored my first goal of the year, although I was suppose to be playing defense.
After hockey, we watched the last five minutes of the last Canucks preseason game. They were leading 2-1 over the Anaheim Ducks by then. I walked with a couple of friends later for the first time in two years! I arrived at 7-11 by 9:10 and my dad showed up 15 minutes later, after I called him. I immediately turned on the radio and realized that the Vancouver Canucks had won 4-2.
I had noodles after I came home, showered after and started blogging now!
Tomorrow : Read eight more pages of the readings. Continue on my essay, hopefully no distractions in between. It's such an incurable disease! Lastly! The hockey pool draft!! HeadShot's regime is over, bring on CanucksxDream! Time to defend my title, in the beginning of next week!
