Mother's Day, Canucks Day, Suns Day

The bright sun this morning seem to make the day promising. I woke up early today, because it's Mother's Day. Last night, I reserved table for breakfast at a Chinese restaurant.

By 9:30, my mom, sister and I were at the Chinese restaurant eating. We did ordered quite a bit of Dim Sum. At the end, we ended up paying $43.53.

After that, we went to metro and shopped for a while. My mom went to look at shoes because my dad need new shoes. My sister and I went and bought her a mother's day gift. The gift cost 65 dollars. Later, we went home because we're all exhausted.

Today was Vancouver's last chance to stay alive in the 2010 playoffs. I had a couple of friends over to watch the game.

The game began well for Vancouver. Christian Ehrhoff snapped a shot from the blue line pasted Antti Niemi, and Vancouver leads 1-0. With ten minutes to go in the first period. Kevin Bieksa scored on the 2 on 1 rush on the forehand and Vancouver leads 2-0. The period ended with Vancouver leading 2-0. I didn't really react to Vancouver's goals, except giving a small "yay" reaction. Also, Sami Salo was hurt when he blocked a slapshot as the first period came to an end. It seems like that he was hit in the testicles. So he left the game and didn't return. Another defensemen gone, *sigh.*

The second period was pretty much the same thing. Kevin Bieksa scored on the powerplay, when he took a one-timer slapshot. Vancouver has a 3-0 lead. No scoring for the rest of the period for Vancouver. During the second period, Shane O'Brien got hit in the face by a stick, and blood was squirting out. This game has turned into a bloodshed battle.

In the third period, there were no scoring until with six minutes to go in the game. Blackhawks' captain Johnathan Toews scored on a deflection and Vancouver leads 3-1 now. The Hawks looked like they have energy, but right off the faceoff, they took a penalty and Vancouver didn't score. With a minute left to go, Alex Burrows finished the game off with an empty net. Vancouver won 4-1. They now head home trailing the series 3-2.

I cannot say I was disappointed with the performance today. The Canucks were disciplined and didn't take stupid penalties, but there were stupid penalties called against them. That's okay, they killed off all the hawks' powerplay. Something they didn't do in game 4. Anyways, game 6 back in Vancouver. The boys need to play like they did today. I'll repeat once again, to keep playing or go home, you guys decide as a team!

On another note, I was impressed that the Phoenix Suns has swept the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns had great difficulty beating the Spurs in the post season in previous years, but this year they were able to do it! Now most likely they will be playing the Los Angeles Lakers.

Anyways, happy Mother's Day! Game 6 on tuesday!

Nightmare Disguises In A Gorgeous Day

Okay, so this morning I woke up at 8:30 AM because my mom woke me up to help her with the laundry. After that, I tried sleeping again, but couldn't. Therefore, I decided to wake up and start my day.

It was bright and sunny today, so I changed to my Roberto Luongo Team Canada t-shirt, while putting my brand new Roberto Luongo Jersey on. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and then came back to my room and started packing my things.

At 11:00, I got a ride from my mom to a friend's house. We ended up playing NHL 09 for a little while, before another friend came. Later, we waited at the playground for a couple of other friends to arrive and then we head to the buss stop.

Unfortunately, one of our friend was late, so we ditched him and got on the buss and went to the skytrain station. We then took the skytrain to Patterson Station and waited for everybody to show up there. Once everybody came, we went to Central Park to play soccer. We played for 1.5 hours before heading in to my friend's apartment to play Table Tennis.

By 4pm, my 2 other friends and I left. We went to buy Vegan food, and brought it a friend's place where we stayed to watch the hockey game. We also had sushi while our eyes were glued on the tv.

The hockey game today was severely disappointing. Another loss, this time 7 -4. With Chicago going home to closing the series out on Sunday. It is most likely that the series is over for Vancouver. Whether they win or lose now, it's not a factor to me anymore. I'm sure the series will be over and it's not worth it that I get upset over it. Big fucking deal, it's just hockey. What do I lose, if they don't make it? Nothing really, except all the time where I spend watching them. That's about it!

So, I don't know what to say anymore. If hockey is to be continued for Vancouver, then they better play their game with urgency. Go home or keep playing, you guys decide!

Roberto Luongo Deserves Protection!!

I don't know why I still have the mood to blog right now, but I might as well. Everything today went pretty well up to the Vancouver Canucks game.

This morning, I woke up late, because I slept late last night. I did nothing all day, except listening to music and talking on MSN.

Though I did went out for lunch with my parents at a cafe. They made me drive there, for better practice. Though they nearly cause me to do something dangerous, but luckily it didn't happen.

After lunch, I went home and continued on what I was doing, until I have driving lesson, because I have a road test tomorrow to prepare for.

My driving lesson performance was stellar. I made no mistake and my driving instructor praised me. All I need now is to be the same for tomorrow's exam and I'll be good.

After driving lesson, I came home and waited for a friend to come, to watch game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoff between Vancouver and Chicago. I was nervous and pumped at the same time as Vancouver returned home to play. However, the situation was pretty much against me.

Chicago scored the first goal off a scramble in front of the net. I thought Luongo had it, because it seemed like he did, but he didn't and Chicago leads 1-0. Minutes later, Vancouver was down a man, and Dustin Byfuglien that mother fucker, scored on a loose puck, and Chicago leads 2-0.

In the second period, Vancouver really started to press and finally they got a goal by Jannick Hansen when he tipped a point shot, and Vancouver trails 2 - 1. Minutes later, Alex Burrows took a fucking dumb penalty and Vancouver is down a man again. Dustin Byfuglien would score again, on a mad scramble in front of the net and Chicago leads 3 - 1. During the play, Jonathan Toews ran over Luongo and there were no penalties called! I can't believe it, they don't call goalie intereference?? Bullshit!!! Near the end of the second period, Alex Burrows redeemed himself by scoring a goal on a 4 on 2 rush and Vancouver trails 3 - 2 after 2.

The 3rd period, I was hoping for the comeback kids to make a comeback, but it didn't happen. Marian Hossa scored and Chicago leads 4-2. With just 5 minutes left, that fucking jew Dustin Byfuglien scored again to get his first hat-trick in the playoffs. Everybody was irate, because Luongo got pushed in and they still counted as a goal?? BULLSHIT!!!

The game ended 5-2 win for the Hawks. They now lead the series 2 - 1. I don't know, but I'll keep watching! Anyways, my road test exam is tomorrow! Need to sleep now!

REFS YOU SUCK!!!!!!! FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Nightmare Campaign Part 2 Failed. Ball 1

I won't be talking much today in this blog post. However, the sunny and windy day today didn't really seem much of a factor at all.

I woke up today, and my mom wanted me to go out for driving practice. I refused and went back to bed until she left for work.

I opened up my comp to see what's new, apparently nothing at all. I ate breakfast and then went on to vacuum the house.

Later, I was just on the computer listening to music and talking to some friends on msn. I probably spend nearly the whole day doing that, until my friends arrived to watch the game.

I'm not going to discuss the play by play. The Vancouver Canucks lost 4-2 and now the series is tied 1 - 1. This totally spoiled the party that my buddies and I had today. Also, this is what happens when a team tries to sit on a one goal lead and decided not to keep scoring. They lose.

Anyways, a split in Chicago isn't bad at all, however the Canucks need to find a way in game 3 to strike back. As many people including myself believed that this won't be an easy series, but I believe that Vancouver can pull it through the rest of the way!

Game 3 in Vancouver!! Go Canucks Go!!!!!

Part 1 Of The Nightmare Campaign Accomplished

A sunny morning seemed to made everything looking good today. I woke up around 10:30 am today, because my mom wanted me to practice driving. FYI, driving sucks ass, I hate it so much.

Anyways I practiced around 45 minutes, with my mom talking so much that it pretty much pissed me off. Later I came home just to eat breakfast before my driving instructor came to pick me up.

Around 12:30, he did pick me up. My mom went with me, because she wanted to see me driving with my instructor. For fuck sakes, leave me alone with the driving. I felt like I'm getting pressured drastically whenever she wanted me to drive. There was no way that my confident level will ever rise whenever I felt the pressure she gave me.

Anyways, I made some minor mistakes and 2 major mistakes. My 2 major mistakes was when the traffic light turned yellow, I sped up dramatically. Unfortunately, there was a car in front waiting to left turn. Therefore my driving instructor had to put on the brakes. The second major mistake was when he told me to left turn at the traffic light. I probably wasn't paying attention much, and almost changed to the bicycle lane. My minor mistakes were only that my left turning weren't too good, but I should be able to correct them. After I head home, my mom wanted to come along with me to my next driving lesson and on the day I retake my road exam. Even more pressure than ever. In my opinion, she will only kill my momentum.

After my driving lesson, she went out on her own and me and my sister were home alone again. I spend the rest of my day, listening to music and reading the Canucks forum.

Today is the day that Vancouver and Chicago play in the playoff once again. Last year, the Hawks eliminated Vancouver in 6 games. Although the nightmare got in my head. The Vancouver Canucks so far disagreed with that.

Before the game, I said that I'm looking forward to hear all the booing, and it seems like I pretty much got what I desired. By 5 pm, all my friends arrived at my place to watch the hockey game. The puck dropped exactly at 5:10.

Vancouver opened the scoring when Christian Ehrhoff fired a quick shot past Hawks' netminder Antti Niemi and Vancouver leads 1-0. At that point, the crowd started booing, and in joy, I turned on my TV as loud as I can to hear the booing even more.
Just before the period ended, Mason Raymond fired a rebound that Antti Niemi left after saving a shot and scored, giving Vancouver a 2-0 lead. I highfived all my friends. The second period ended, with the score 2-0 for Vancouver and the shot 17 -13 for Chicago.

Before the second period started, the pizza delivery person came, because we ordered pizza. We ended up paying 35 dollars for 3 pizzas. We ate a little bit, just before the game resumed.

In the second period, the Canucks dominated Chicago. Henrik Sedin, scored from a pass that his brother Daniel fed him after Niemi stopped Daniel Sedin with the right pad, and Vancouver leads 3-0. Again, I highfived all my friends right after the goal has been scored. The game went back and fourth, but Vancouver played as a team and pretty much shutdown the Hawks offense. When Patrick Kane AKA Mr.Twenty Cents took a penalty, Kyle Wellwood scored on a loose puck. Vancouver leads 4-0. Again, same routine. I highfived all my friends right after that. Minutes later, Michael Grabner scored his first National Hockey League playoff goal and Vancouver has a 5-0 lead. The crowd booed once again, and I turned on the volume of my TV just to hear the beautiful sound of the boos. The second period ended with Vancouver in a commanding 5-0 lead.

Here is a statistic about the Vancouver Canucks. When they lead the game after two periods of play, their winning rate is at 99%, pretty close to never losing a game.

In the 3rd period, Vancouver took two penalties, giving Chicago a 5 on 3 powerplay for over a minute. Patrick Kane AKA Mr.Twenty Cents scored because Luongo couldn't freeze the puck and Vancouver's lead has been cut to 5-1. For the rest of the game, there were no scoring and that would be the final score. Vancouver now leads 1-0 in the best of seven. Even if they won this game, I still won't be celebrating just yet. Last year, Vancouver won game 1 and ended up losing the series in game 6. This is a good start, but they will have to keep this up for the rest of the series.
